- Today's video is about experimenting! I can't seem to get any dual color filament in my area so I decided to try and make my own! The results were interesting.

Check out the Sculpting app! I just love it so I had to share: nomadsculpt.com/
Printer Setup:

Thanks for the video! Super helpful
💕👌👍
I 💚 Ultistik
Me too. I've been very pleased with this buildplate. I was so gutted and surprised at the same time when I forgot to change the Z-offset after swapping to a different nozzle and it was off enough to partially gouge the bed. It has a big ugly mark on it but it still holds the prints very well.
@@StackingLayers ive got 12 Ultistik beds now, one one every printer, and my original is 3 years old and still perfect (never dragged a nozzle on it tho) it does have 2 little spots where i think ISO was left on and dried up, but theu stilk stick perfectly.
Is it normal for Cura to take forever to slice this?
I didn't notice anything unusual. What version are you using?
@@StackingLayers 4.13.1, it takes about a half hour to slice the 10x coil.
Oh wow! No, I've never had anything take that long. I just tried again and It slices in like 5 seconds.
@@StackingLayers I think I found my problem; apparently Arc Welder plugin didn't like the model.
That's interesting. I used arch welder on it, but I did it with the plugin on octoprint
Genial, STL?
This is a good one. www.printables.com/model/193281-dual-filament-custom
