Hi! i am from Portugal and until 2006 we had here some Denix replicas. I had two pistols and I've sold them as son as I could. For me replia smust mimic the real thing on its out side faces etc. Denix is not. Along with their cheap pot metal building, some parts, and ocasionally all the replicas, can be field striped and even more deeply disassembled. So, they have also moving parts too. In my cases, my two pistols could not be too much used as they became loose on their moving parts!! To me Denix replicas may be ok for some parts swap with airsoft or airguns, and in a case or two, one can use their wood parts to improve another replica or repair a real steel gun. But even here, we have to be calm!! To bad all this! Denix has the know how, the experience and the means to do better. Much better!! i hope that someday I can see that. But with me living else where, as here everything is a pain in the ass when it comes to guns etc...
Hi, and 1000 thanks for this video! Sir: you said you had use a propane torch on the Denix?? Is the Denix pot metal? Zamac cheap pot metal?? And you used acid phosfatic? ( Probably I did not write some words well )
@@deathinc4u This is what I knew: torch for steel. But I thought that I was not getting it right!! Long ago, I had 3 Denix replicas.I sold them because they were not realistic and very very poorly made. Denix could well do it much better!!!

Used the torch on the steel parts. Zinc parts can't handle the heat and will melt. The Denix is almost completely made of zinc.
