I like the add-ons, but you made the same weathering mistake I did in making it look too silvery. I used Birchwood Casey Aluminium Black and backtracked using cotton buds. Now mine looks much more authentic, retaining a dull blackness with limited rubbing of the high spots, while still looking battle worn. I also added a curved scratch where the moving safety catch would scrape against the metal. It's a great piece though. I love mine and its authentic 5kg weight.
