I'm a subscriber to both channels. I love the detail that Jim White provides in his Vlogs. And, I love the honest reviews you provide in your Vlogs. I think almost everything I use to detail my own car is the result from watching your reviews. Keep up the great work!

The only thing I would add to this Great Video is : If you are detailing the engine bay area then you can either ask the owner if there are any "Check Engine Light" issues before you attempt any Engine detailing. There obviously should not be an issue with new Or pre delivery Vehicles but older vehicles are a whole different beast. Some people are very Honest and will tel you, Some will have you detail the engine just so they can come back and say you did something to it during the engine detail Phase. I am always suspicious of people who call just to have their engine detailed. If you don't want that potential Trust Issue to be a factor with the customer then Just Turn on the Engine/ Motor during the inspection to give the impression you are checking the Milage on the vehicle. Point it out to the customer that they have a check engine light on and if you wish you can check the code for them. They then know that YOU KNOW it was on when they brought it In. !!
My two favorite detailing channels to follow! I have massive garage envy for Jim's setup and would LOVE to see a collaboration one day! Great job Pan and Jim.

Jim is great. I've been subbed to channel for a while now and his attention to detail (no pun intended) is amazing. Glad to see you two collaborated! He had a lot of great points to talk about.
Very cool collaboration, I'm on both channels. Agree with others' comments as well that Apex and Dallas would be interesting ventures. Keep up the great work!!
I dropped a brand new car off at my detailer (Unique Car Care in Middleton, MA) for new car prep and PPF. Owner called and told me the car's front bumper had been replaced and painted poorly. I was so mad at myself for not catching it. Of course the dealer did not mention it.
Really good stuff! I hope more people could see or know this. When complaining why a detailing job costs 500GBP and up.... Considering the amount of effort that has to go in to get a good result. I know when I do it myself I am in for 10-15h :) before being finished....

It's such a shame to see, you expect a fresh and flawless product. Thanks to guys like them, you can enjoy your prised posession for a very long time. Keep it up, guys!
You're right Razvan. Also don't forget, even "new cars" have been transported from the plant by truck, train, boat, etc and are exposed to road grime, industrial fallout, the elements, etc. They often sit a shipping docks or in dealership lots for a while, and so on. And there's the dreaded "poor dealership preparation" where they quickly prep and wash your new car using wrong methods. Thanks for watching!
No mention of measuring and recording paint thickness during the inspection process. Seems this would be a step in a high end paint correction process?

I was wondering about the plastic headlight restoration. I used the Chris Fix with some good results, but it didn't last. So, I'm wondering what you would do, besides replacement?
Headlight restoration has to be done the right way, using water sanding and different grits of sand paper to remove the oxidation (yellowing) and the previous UV coating. You then move on the refine the finish using a compound followed with a polish. In the end, you could use a paint sealant, but for a more permanent solution, apply a new UV protective spray-form layer. Here's a video that has decent methods: th-cam.com/video/DtV2GClENs8/w-d-xo.html
I never discuss prices on TH-cam as it's pointless to do so, for many reasons, including location. A detailing job in Montreal doesn't cost the same as it does in New York, or Paris for example. And even within the same city, prices can vary from one neighbourhood to another. It also depends on the experience of the detailer, quality of products use, the state of the vehicle and how many man hours are needed, etc.
Hi Pan, hope your well. I've watched a few of Jim White detail videos and he does some superb work. I think you two should definitely do a collaboration. Watched yours too and also think you do some superb work. Keep it up.... :-)
I have a Dodge Viper. I want to detail the paint. Do u think I should do it are pay someone? Would you please tell me products I should buy and 1st step and so on to the end. Thanks
While watching this video a question came to my mind I never thought of therefore never got an answer for until now obviously............I know that decontamination is an important step in detailing but can you explain to me why it is please?
In a quick response, it's to remove any embedded contaminants from the surface before you polish the paint. Imagine the high speed polisher pad picking up all those contaminants and grinding them on the paint in circular motions... It would create lots of swirls and scratches that you're trying to remove in the first place. Also, a paint free of contaminants is ready to accept a paint protection product (wax, sealant, coating) a lot better, as the product can bond with the clear coat, instead of latching onto impurities. Like putting lotion on dirty and oily skin. You would get better results applying it to clean skin.
@@PanTheOrganizer Ok very important information indeed thanks!! I also found out after I wrote my question that contaminants could cause rust on the long term!
Thanks for your support!! I'm the proof that anything can happen if you believe in yourself and work hard. I remember the day when I first got my first subscriber... Here we are now at almost 200,000 !! :)

And even within the same city, prices can vary from one neighbourhood to another. It also depends on the experience of the detailer, quality of products use, the state of the vehicle and how many man hours are needed, etc.
Pan! This is pretty damn cool of you!
Thanks Edwin!
Hi Pan, hope your well. I've watched a few of Jim White detail videos and he does some superb work. I think you two should definitely do a collaboration. Watched yours too and also think you do some superb work. Keep it up.... :-)
Thanks you I appreciate it!

Thanks Pan for this video :D
Thanks!
Great content Pan...
Thanks Kunal!!
What tools name for lift that car sir?
I also found out after I wrote my question that contaminants
could cause rust on the long term!
Bon je crois que je vais attendre la version française 😂 #hâte
Salut pan. Pourrait on avoir une version française de cette vidéo ?

Pan TheOrganizer ...That’s a hard decision Pan. I love your QA#123 so far. If I had to choose one video it would have to be when you done the BMW M3 Full Detail of a Black CAr because I have a black Lexus IS 250 Pan TheOrganizer That’s a hard decision Pan. I love your QA#123 Would love to come up and hang out and watch you do a detail in the spring if you wouldn’t mind. I could fly in. Let me know. Would love to meet you and get some signatures. As far as the huge product line goes for Detailers the number ones of 2017 and 2018 helps a ton and helps us keep up with the good products out there. Keep up the awesome work Paaannnnnnn! Can i please ask something the professional detailers??? i can see the results on this video it is almost 99.99% perfect results and i love it...........
BUT i have some conserns
This car it is a almost new model of the Land Rover maybe 1-2-3 years ols top, and it needed already FULL correction service, and several days to reach the 99% perfection.................if the customer continius to wash, maintaine the car as he did ...before the detail service....WHAT NEXT???
(also this car already has some bufeer marks so already had cut it before ...)
in after two years another full detail and 99% correction??/ and then??? in total 4-5-6 yeras??? 3 times full correction for 99% of results??? with....how much clear coat left??????
I mean for the proffesinals. my question ...............it is the 99% perfect results.....always proper???????????????
thanks

The key, is to change the cleaning and washing habits to avoid future corrections
