Woodturning - Pine and a Disaster!

- In this week’s wood turning video, Harry and I continue to try and deplete our wood stash. Why not turn a piece of pine that’s been sitting around for a few months. It was a first for me and a first for Harry….to go to the hospital!
I hope Harry can make a speedy recovery and his face doesn’t look too bad. More importantly I think the woodturning turned out great! I hope you enjoy the piece as much as I do.

Nice. I turn and work with a lot of pine. Next time, after the piece is turned. Run a 4" wire wheel over it to separate the grains. The outcome is awesome.
Thanks for the info Robert. I've got one of those wheels and was considering it but wasn't how the texture would look. I'll definitely have to give it a try!
@@HodgePodgeWoodWorks , wire wheels attached to a lathe or cordless drill work great on both oak and pine. Give it go
