Thank you for the leaving a lovely comment. Very nice of you. They are nice cameras. I really like how they track and you have the ability to move them as well.
nice review, will def be picking these up after watching your video. so tired of having to charge my current cams and the limited features. had a look at the site and there are some great offers atm. aosu look to be making big moves. thanks again!
Thanks for the lovely comment. I do like these cameras. Compared to others - I do like how they rotate and track the object which make a big difference to static cameras that just look at one view.
The bracket requires screws to be attached to the wall. I guess you could try really strong double sided tape - but I am not sure it will hold for long enough.
They do pick up dome dslse alerts. I have tested other brands and more videos are coming out. Also ring doorbells and cameras show false alarms. There will always be an element of this.
It depends on how much movement is in the view of the camera to pick up. Also, is the camera charging each day for a bit when there is light? With normal.operation, it can last about 1 month with not too many motions picked up.
thank you for getting back to me are the security cameras reliable I live in the UK how long have you had them for ? I am thinking of buying them if you can get back to me that would be great
I am in the UK as well. They are very good. I also have Ring cameras. What I do like about the AOSU ones is the solar panel being built in and also the oration of them left and right as well as up and down. The Ring cameras are just set in one view. they notify you, they record good video and the sound is good. The app works well. Just make sure they are as close to the base station as possible for best performance. The further they are, then you will encounter some minor issues etc - but that is like anything that moves further away that relies on signal. I have had them for about 2 months now.
This camera model you have to have a base station. They do not have SD card spaces. I am busy reviewing another model now which does not require a base station and it has an sd card space. So this one might be what you are looking for.
If you are asking about the battery power, as long as there is sufficient light to keep it charging. Then they should be fine. Also, a high amount of triggers can drain the battery quicker.
@thereviewdaduk thank u for ur response. I was just curious if this is worth buying during winter months. I was also looking into Eufy S340 Solar Camera Security & was comparing between the 2 of them.
@@mariviclexus5141 I see. Fair enough. Does it get quite dark there for extended periods of time? Do others have any devices using solar outside their home?
@@thereviewdadukDuring the winter in Chicago, the amount of daylight is significantly reduced, with the shortest day of the year being the winter solstice. In terms of daylight, it is approximately around 6 hours. I haven't seen anyone with any security cameras hooked up using solar panels.
It could. You just need the base system to be close to the cameras. I just released a video on a wireless bridge. This can send the signal from the main house to another building up to 3kms away. That could be an option too.

The doorbell. That is cool. I want to review it at some point. Thanks for your comment. Enjoy the camera.
This is another impressive and in-depth unboxing, review and how-to. Your detailed and honest videos are always much appreciated.
Thanks for the comment and nice words.
You did an amazing job, presenting this camera system i just bought. Thanks again!!!

No ways. I can't believe this. This is amazing. Thank you so much. I never thought I would ever get one of these. Thank you again. Keep well.
This was a really helpful video, especially being a new homeowner. Grateful for you, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
hi I just want to know I have a poor Wi-Fi signal does it still work ?
How poor is the signal? It can have some adverse effects on the operation.
What are the green tabs for. I ended up pulling mine off as I thought it was to remove a protective film??
I have asked the same thing - I am waiting for a reply.
@@thereviewdaduk They are there to remove the protective film. Mine came off without lifting the film but it was easy to get the film off.
@SCCFORUM mine did not lift the film either...guess the film is very protective. Ha ha ha.
I have the vinyl wall, is there a mount slide bracket that I can install on it. I don't want to drill holes on it since it's not strong.
The bracket requires screws to be attached to the wall. I guess you could try really strong double sided tape - but I am not sure it will hold for long enough.
Get a nice piece of wood not too big and some solvent glue and sick the wood after painting it. And then mount it to the wood.
If you have wi-fi extenders, do you think these would still work for a larger house?
Yes. I have wifi extenders in the front and backyard. I have done another video on a wired AOSzu camera, which is even further away and works well.
Does the solar panel charge the camera all the time or do I have to manually charged and connected to an outlet
It charges the camera all the time.
Mine only charges when the sun is out.
Hi. Do these give any false alerts or just human detection. I mean alerts on leaves blown, animals etc. ?
They do pick up dome dslse alerts. I have tested other brands and more videos are coming out. Also ring doorbells and cameras show false alarms. There will always be an element of this.
how long does a battery last when we charging this by solar power ?

Hello, without the home base can i put an sd card and that will do or is there a monthly fee thanks for the great content.

Thanks i appreciate your help
Can we use the camera without home base??
I believe these cameras require the homebase.
Can you hook this camera to 5 g wi fi
Yes. That is the nice thing about these cameras. The can connect to 2.4 and 5.
Can you live stream the cameras remotely when your phone is connected to the internet through another wifi network or 5g / LTE.
You can connect from anywhere that you have Internet connection and watch the cameras live or previous recordings.
How mwany meters can the camera be from home base.
Mine is on the other side of the property. I do have a WiFi booster in the backyard. The camera is about 20m away from the homebase.
I live in Chicago. Will this hold during winter time?
Thanks for the comment. These cameras can operate in temps from -10c to 55c. 14F to 131F.

if there are cloudy and rainy days, does the camera still work?
This works in the rain, cloudy days, sunny days, windy days. I even sprayed water on it in the video and it works fine. Very happy with this camera.

@ElectroCoderEC still works ok. Not had any issues. As long as there is light, it can charge. It does not have to be sunlight direct on a sunny day.

can u view your cameras tru your smart tv?
If the TV has Google Home or Amazon Alexa on it. Yes, you can view it.
it won’t let me update the firmware for one of my cameras. Do you know why?
Have you tried rebooting the camera? Turn it off, then turn it on. Wait for it to initialise and then try again.
