Most of the time all you get is a static image, but then you’re just in the middle of something that you need high quality images. Like a face, a license plate, or even great photo. Thumbs up 👍
I have an Arlo system now. It’s decent but each camera takes 4 cr123 batteries which is basically $10 every time I have to change them. I only have them record at night because the more events, the faster the batteries need replaced. I’ll definitely keep this set in mind
Thanks for the review :) Aside from just the medium quality of these cameras, what really worries me about these kind of setups is the Wi-Fi range. I live in a fairly large house where I'm pretty much far away from where each camera is going to be and I don't have a single router or Wi-Fi signal that I think will reach each and every camera. Thus makes the setup of these things very difficult. I have tried several cameras systems and they all fall short of grabbing a proper Wi-Fi signal since they are all so spread out
Because we installed Solar Panels that needed to connect to the internet and they were too far from our router to get a signal we added a Wi-Fi extender. When I installed my AOSU Solar Security Cameras I synced them all while sitting next to my router. Once I physically installed the cameras around the home I saw that two connected through the extender on their own. They all work just fine though the home base and my app. I can only assume they don’t care how they get to my internet.

That setup was definitely easier than the Arlo security system I installed a few years ago at our home!

Nice review, how many minutes does the video record.....(I might have missed it in the video)
YES! Thanks for sharing, big brother is watching! LOL

Is the homebase like a WiFi router? Can it be Ethernet connected directly to the modem or do I need a router in between?
Hello. I was looking at this or the one thats rotates and follow moving objects. What do you think. Thanks
