Mark. With you on this one! A proper Q Car. Incredible spec! Looks, tech and performance. Was passed by one on the Motorway... like i was standing still! Get over the it must be a German car. [although BMW 3 Series Touring is the one to beat.] but leaves the Audi, Merc and even VW offerings way behind. Literally! A future turning point car. Excellent.
I got a few adverse comments when I brought my Peugeot RCZ-R a few years back ( from badge snobs) but I’ve still got it and still love it, every time I park I can’t resist a sly look back, what a cracker how many TT owners can say that.
If I was in the market for this type of car the 508 SW Estate would definitely be on my list…..

Great review Mark. Agree these should make a fantastic used buy in a couple of years, however don't think there will be too many on the roads given the new price.
I've seen a saloon PSE in Ireland in that colour a few months ago, yes it does stand out

100% if I had the money, I’d buy this car. RS6’s just look too much n wouldn’t even fit down a lot of roads I drive down.
Your right about this car … I’m currently in a stinger .. very few on the road and I love that … would def shortlist this

The exterior styling is quite nice. I like the seats inside but not sure about that flat top and bottom steering wheel. I haven't driven one so I will reserve my final judgement on the steering wheel until I do. Interior overall is a bit space shippy.

The standard 508 is great looking car inside and out but there's so few of them on the road!
Yeah that’s true but saloons in general are not that in fashion at the moment. Even a Passat is rare enough on the roads these days!

330e xdrive price. Doesn’t seem over priced.
I think it's a cracking looking yoke tho' I don't see the point in phevs really, if it was derv that'd be a different story but as it's a phev you'll not get that long out of the charge and when it does run out of charge you'll be lucky to get 40mpg out of it which renders the whole thing pointless to me.
The point is...tax! In the UK this would cost me 60% of retail just because it is a PHEV.
@@Kefuddle yes but phevs are rubbish on the motorway because once they run out of battery it's a petrol car lugging heavy batteries about.
Looks a stunning car but the price tag....
I ordered one last month, true you won't see a lot of them on the road (Peugeot made a tweet recently announcing that they sold 2000 PSE, for france i guess) and there won't be a lot of PSE on the used market, making it quite exclusive. One thing is sure, mine won't be on the used market, not even in 10 years.

Congratulations that’s a great buy! I run the Peugeot Owners club in Ireland. We are having a big Peugeot meet in Kilkenny on August 28th. Be great to have a PSE at it.
@@patrickcrean7813 I'd like to come, but unfortunately, i can't for 2 reasons, i live in France and the estimated delivery date for my PSE is in october.
PSA just don't command these prices. Would need to build quality and performance over many years to merit the £ €.
It's a great looking thing the 508. I reckon BMW design team should learn something from this, rather than endlessly pump the already swollen kidneys.
Did you not review this before? Great review. Vastly overpriced car, in fact by the amount we call VRT. But I still would pass. Onto the next 👍

VRT is only 7% so that doesn't explain the price. You can get 330e xDrive Touring M Sport Edition for 10 grand cheaper
