There are many companies offering this experience in Tokyo, but you need an international driver's permit regardless of which company you choose to go with. ☺️ We went with this company and had a great experience: kart.st

The go-cart had a mount ready for my GoPro on the front 😊

Would you recommend day time or night time for go karting? Also what kind of stand did you use to hold up your phone while riding in the go kart

That's a tough one! It comes down to personal preference, do you wanna see the city lights or the city during day time 😊 I didn't use my phone, I had my gopro and the go cart had a mount for it already attached which I used ☺️

I'm a little confused, I thought that the go karting had been banned after someone mounted the pavement and crashed into a shop?

I haven't heard of that, but it's definitely not banned. There are many companies offering this go-karting in both Tokyo and also Osaka 😊

That wasn't an option 😆 you can get a one hour tour though, but the 2 hours really went fast 😄
