dude! you make the best videos on Tokyo, very impressive and your channel is pretty new too! keep up the good work Paolo. You will beat my Tokyo videos hands down, maybe in fall 2018 we can do a collab together especially a challenge will be so funny, let's catch up
I’m finally visiting Japan on a solo trip after years of anticipation. Today, I was walking back to my hotel in Shibuya to rewatch this video to make sure I got all the right places, and then I ran into Paolo the man himself!!! I’m still mind-blown! GREAT VIDEO!
Glad you got to meet Paolo. If I ever get to visit Tokyo someday; I hope to meet Paolo myself because his videos are so informative on the best places for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Tokyo. Visiting Tokyo is a dream of mine because it seems like no matter where you go in Tokyo; there's history around every corner. The earthquake and fire of 1923 along with World War II changed much of Tokyo; but in some ways the city has managed to remain the same before those tragic times.
I also had a good time in shibuya, I saw a guy with pink hair and tattoos fighting with a white monster that had a wheel on its head while destroying buildings and streets Best experience of my life ❤
Hi Loveliza, I thought it might be helpful since there are so many places I refer to in this video. Thanks for watching and hope to catch you again in the next one.
I guess it's because it isn't in your area of interest, but you missed one type of thing that is a must-see (for music lovers) that visit Shibuya: the music halls. Shibuya has some great music venues (though most are small in capacity by Western standards) that have shows going on almost every night. Tsutaya O-East, Tsutaya 0-West, Eggman, Cyclone, Quattro, and a bunch of others. The music scene is really strong in Japan, and you can see some amazing bands if you try.
hello, can you recommend some of these music halls and music venues please? i’m a music lover and i’m visiting for the first time, this comment really caught my attention. please let me know.
I know this is an old video but we use it as a guide for our one-day trip visit to Shibuya yesterday, and it was very helpful. We did almost all the places you recommended except for Yoyogi Park as it was just too cold for us. Thank you Paolo!
This video alone got me visiting Shibuya for a day, I only wish I had spent more time there. That tip about Starbucks and Mega Donki are spot on, I bought all sorts of Kit Kats as souvenirs for my friends back home. I can't wait to go back to Tokyo! Keep up the good work Pablo!
Your video is so well-done and informative. The drawing was awesome too. Thank you for showing us around shibuya and where to go. I'll definitely check out the places that you suggested on here when I'll be back in Japan 😁
Thanks Trinnie, I appreciate the feedback. I think the map helps give perspective. Glad you noticed. In place in Shibuya that you really want to visit now?
Im currently taking notes from your videos. would recommend keeping the text on the vidoes a little longer and writing out the names of the resturants you mentioned. Great job!
Whenever i see your videos i get sad about all the things I missed when i was in tokyo 😂😭 going back at the end of the year though so ill definitely visit a lot of your recommendations this time!
After watching a few of your videos I can't wait to come! You've given me a ton of great suggestions / recommendations for me and my family! Thank you!
Now I'm so excited for my Tokyo trip on December! Going with a friend. Been here once but I was not able to explore the place, stayed for an hour or two. Ahhhh! There's so much to do, so glad gonna stay for half a day this time. Thanks for the info!!!
Great video you highlighted alot of hidden gems in shibuya. The Japanese tourist ministry should sponsor your future videos, as they will defiantly attract a lot of young western tourists to the city. thanks for the info and the effort.
The Tokyo Chamber of Commerce should pay you for your city tour videos. This is a fun, vicarious intro to a city that would pulverize my sensibilities with its immense size and plethora of choices. Thank you for showing us.
Your videos are very informative and well formatted. Thank you for taking the time to provide the Google map link, this is really helpful in planning our trip to Tokyo. Keep it up!
Hey paolo! We r planning a family visit to Japan in April and been watching quite a number of videos until finally landing on your channel. Man u r by far the best! Great content. Super informative and the links in the description are super helpful. Thank u!!
I forgot about the park. I used to spend my Sundays there winding down listening to djs (I guess it wasn't really winding down). I miss Japan. I was stationed there in the navy, Yokosuka. It was probably the best time of my life
My man! I went to Japan last month and your videos truly helped out. I stayed in Shibuya, Gion Kyoto, and Dontonburi. I had a serious blast and your videos kept me from falling into Golden Gai traps (many thanks!). Seriously keep up the amazing stuff and thanks for all of the tips on Japan. Blessing from the USA
Love the style of your video. Subscribed! We're gonna be heading to Japan in April so I'm excited. Just trying to see the best places to visit in Tokyo (and Osaka) since we're only there for about a week. I definitely want to check out Niku Yokocho.
I came back about 2 weeks ago and I'm missing it all. Watching everyone cross Shibuya from the Starbucks, behind you in the introduction, at night is so cool!
Everytime I hear Shibuya always Reminds me of that TikTok song Edit: the OG song is "Chanel" from Frank Ocean, but the tik tok version Is called, "American boy, but Shibuya is there too" And no I'm not a tik tok user, just love the music
(im a beginner into vlogging & stuff) My first time seeing one of your videos and I love how you've pin-pointed everything one by one in the map. People watching this will find it easier to memorise where the places you've recommended are situated.
Btw, I am a British Filipino who has recently moved to Tokyo. So I was surprised when I saw the amount of English speakers(smooth English speakers) in the basketball court.
For sure. There are a lot of foreigners that ball at the court. And a lot of the Japanese guys love NBA and playing at the court so they naturally pick up English.
Man, Tokyo is so cool! Went last year, crazy good experience. Really fun seeing back the city in your vid, can't wait to go back. We just climbed a freezing Slovenian waterfall for our vlog 😁
Here in Japan with the fam. We just left Kyoto and are heading to Tokyo. Your videos are amazing for planning. Can’t wait to visit a bunch of the places you recommend in Tokyo.
Hello Paolo, Me and my family visited Tokyo 2 weeks, this April, thanks a lot for all your recommendations, we ate at the Ramen place you said at Shibuya and at the Creme de la Creme at Roppongi Hills, we had a great time, love Tokyo!

i laughed when they got kicked out for filming at the first hotel. glad some people kick those youtubers to the curb once in a while.
Lol Someone from work left me a gift with a big ass daiso logo on it. They didn’t bother writing who it’s from....for obvious reasons I’m guessing. 😂
I went shibuya on 31st October 2018,one of my best experience😊
Me too! I had such a fun time, I got to transfigure into a semi-human monster at one point too, which was awesome!
Me three I saw a silly white Guy and he said “domaine expansion “idk what that means but I’m in a insane asylum 😁😁😁
I also had a good time in shibuya, I saw a guy with pink hair and tattoos fighting with a white monster that had a wheel on its head while destroying buildings and streets
