Let's try weird snacks from 7-Eleven in Thailand 🇹🇭 (reacting to strange Thai snacks)
In this video, I’m tasting weird snacks from 7-Eleven in Thailand! We're currently backpacking in Asia, and after traveling in Thailand for two months, I thought it would be time to try the weirdest looking snacks I could find, so let’s try weird foods from 7-Eleven in Thailand together. 😅
As a European reacting to Thai snack food, this video will be an interesting one, especially since it’s my first time trying durian (well... almost). I’ll be testing some weird and fishy Thai chips and other convenience store snacks you won’t find anywhere else. If you’re curious to see me trying Thailand’s weird 7-Eleven foods, or if you just love seeing what convenience store snacks in Thailand are like, this is the video for you!

How much is the average housing rent in Helsinki or populated areas?
This of course depends a lot on the area, size of the apartment etc. I'm not super familiar with rent in Helsinki as I live in another city but me and my partner pay around 900€ a month for the both of us and that's currently a pretty normal rent in the mid-size/bigger cities. Add a few hundred euros on top of that for rentals in Helsinki area. :)
As a fin somehow all the beautiful darknes, tranquility and melancholity during winter make me calm and feel good. I have similar preference in music, dark melancholy and heavy.
There's beauty in the dark! :)
Great Video! Stunning Nature ⛰
Thank you! :)
Nice video. Did Ryanair accept this size as a personal item?
Thanks! Yes they did 😊
Hi! I’m thinking of applying for my PhD in Finland. I know the social culture sounds similar to my preferences, but I was wondering if you recommend a good way to make acquaintances in advance? Or any advice in general coming from the US?
Hi! That sounds great, good luck! 😊 In advance I'm not sure, but I would maybe try to look for some Facebook groups for expats/foreigners in Finland and the Couchsurfing app might also be worth a try. Once you're in Finland, depending on the location you could find a hobby where it's easy-ish to meet new people (crossfit is a good one) or join local networking event (these are common in Helsinki and usually announced on Linkedin). When it comes to meeting people, Finland is very different to the US. It might be hard to get to know people and small talk isn't really a big thing but once you find people to hang out with, it's easy to make lifelong connections. Finnish people can seem introverted at first but once you get to know Finns, they're easy going and honest. 😊

We stayed at Hestia Hotel Barons in the old town 😊
@MillaExplores thank you!
Thank you for this video. My wife is very sensitive to mosquitoes - how bad were they on your hike?
I don't remember there being mosquitos on this trail, so not bad! But bring some mosquito repellant just in case 😊
Milla, always good to see you traveling!
Thanks Rony!! 😁👋🏼👋🏼
What do you recommend for getting from the train to my hotel if have heavy luggage?
Uber! :)
@@MillaExplores Thank you. I'm looking at going in Mid-March. I'm excited to explore your country.
Beautiful sweater.
Do residents B students also get support?
I don't know what resident B means but anyone who is a resident in Finland gets support like study grants etc. 😊
Where do you come from Milla?
I'm from Finland 😊
What's the internet like? Can I work remotely using Skype?
Yes you can! I will do a full Koh Tao guide soon & talk about these things too. But I had a few zoom calls and podcast interviews and had no issues ☺️ I recommend getting a SIM card (either eSim or physical at the airport), we use True/DTAC and it has worked great for us. Just in case your hotel doesn't have great wifi.
Death island you tube it.very dark place.
Those events were very unfortunate but Koh Tao is not a dark place at all. 😊
Had a near death experience on Koh Tao. Or was it Koh Chang ? Too many years,. too many hangovers - be happy that you are young enough to enjoy it !
Oops, luckily you're still alive then! 😅 Enjoying every moment 😊

ooh that's so nice to hear! :)
@@MillaExplores do you have any tips for Savonlinna région?
I like your video. I like to visit to experience winter from London. I want to take 4 days off from work so what would you recommend?
Oh that would be lovely! Finnish winter is cold but magical 😁 I recommend visiting Lapland in the winter. I believe there are some flights from the UK to Northern parts on Finland in the winter time, probably to Rovaniemi or Kittilä. In Rovaniemi you'll find Santa Claus' village which is super cute. In Levi/Kittilä, you can go downhill skiing, and also I have a friend who arranges wonderful trips in the area, he's a super cool guy so I can highly recommend his company: www.arctichousesafaris.com ☺️
@@MillaExplores thanks. I’m thinking October or November but what is the best time to visit? I love winter and your country is magical in winter
hi, I would love to do a paragliding flight and was wondering where (company/provider) you booked the tandem paragliding flight? thanks for sharing 🙏
It was so much fun! You can find a few different places that organize tandem paragliding in Lombok. I believe the place we went for is called Skylancing Lombok if I remember correctly 😄
Ihme? Vuonna 1986 koulu tuli Helsingistä Kreikkaan, Halkidikiin, Chaniotiin. Maailman kauneimmat tytöt. Amazing video. I’m travelling to Finland next week. Just a small suggestion you could add small videos along with mentioning places 😊
Amazing! I hope you enjoy it ☺️ Thanks for the feedback!
thank you very much for the video! most people talk as if it were impossible to travel around Albania without a car, but you made it seem much easier.
Not impossible at all! I met many people along the way who traveled without a car. The buses run smoothly most of the time but just be prepared to wait. There are usually no schedules, instead the buses leave once they're full :)
You know what? I am a regular viewer of your TH-cam Channel. I have seen all your videos and your content qualities are very good. I learned lots of things from you. Your channel has great quality contents but still it is not delivering its right audiences due to SEO problems. You should focus on your SEO so that You can get a big fanbase. Thanks.
What is the minimal cost of taxi fare from point A to point B. About 10 minutes or so. Thanks!
I only used a taxi to get from Tirana airport to the bus station when I headed to Berat. That was around 10-15 minutes and cost about 20 euros so quite expensive. Otherwise I just used buses :)
Amazing
Were the beers cold?
Important question! I remember them being cold 😂👍🏼

I've recently come back from Lombok 2 weeks ago after my 2nd visit there and I think Kuta is a great place even though I did mainly close to Senggigi. I walked around Kuta, the beaches, the shops and the big masjid (Masjid Nurul Bilad) - very nice town IMO
Agreed! We really enjoyed Kuta but I've heard good things about Senggigi too. ☺️

Congrats 🎉 I like your style! Would have packed the same yet differently 😉…. I went to Lisbon then Porto last September and loved it ! After went to Spain-Seville than Barcelona. Was a fabulous experience! I took a bigger travel pack, had lots of extra space yet still could have packed less thou I didn’t take a ton still well I’m looking at smaller packs that are more comfortable now. Maybe like you just a personal allowance size. As less can be more lol. I’m going to Thailand so been looking at Osprey packs as the back vents seem awesome for its hot climate. Anyway thanks for sharing! Did you have fun at surf camp? I found the weather at the beginning, all thru holiday very warm/hot! I packed a thin windbreaker very small umbrella and thin merino sweater each came in handy however wow the rain poured thou was short downpour. So mostly just got to a cafe until it stopped. Never wore the other layers until I got to England which was glad had something warmer. Can be tricky to predict while keeping it lite eh. And if like me, I would rather shop for something new than something I already own. Have a few months to try packs with what will bring as like to get the new pack for years of traveling. Getting sober was the best gift because well it’s healthy which includes money now to spend instead on visiting places. Well I’m interested in if you’re doing more travel, surfing and how liked the pack? Lol novel comment 😆✌🏽🍀🌞
Thank you! 🤩 Lisbon and Porto are wonderful cities! And Barcelona, too - I lived there for 5 months and loved it. When traveling light you realize how little stuff you actually need haha, you can almost always pack less, especially in warmer climates. I agree that less is more when packing, it makes it so much easier to carry everything and move around. Osprey packs are great! The surf camp was a lot of fun, I can highly recommend it if you're interested in surfing. 😁 Congrats on your sober journey! Fantastic to hear that you're now able to save money to travel more! I'm currently traveling pretty much full-time since September last year & I'll do an updated packing video again in a few weeks. I use the pack in this video as my personal item but also have a 40 liter pack too (a backpack from Tortuga, I have a pretty new video about it on my channel). Enjoy your travels! ☺️
