    Since I started training for HGV licence years ago I flipped my centre mirror away , as recommended by a competent HGV driver. It helped massively. To this day , 8 years later I drive only wirh both outside mirrors and share my road view observation, scanning constantly 1/ 3 forward, left/ right vision. I find I concentrate much more on far and near and blind spot areas and above all it does not influence my driving from idiots closing up on back. .motorcycles I can still keep an eye on and reversing I do with both mirrors and lookin gover shoulders. ( I also have reversing camera, but driver shoul never rely on that , as on legL disclaimer somewhere on screen or in handbook.no lawyer would accept than . Any technical failure does not exonerate the drivers responsibility. ).

      Centre mirror to check behind your vehicle if there are any other vehicles trying to overtake and mostly to be aware of what’s happening behind you just to be aware of any hazards that could affect you or the driver behind for example when breaking if the car behind is too close or if it’s a sudden unaware braking, and right mirror mainly to check if it’s safe to drive faster just in case any drivers trying to over take you or to just genuinely check if there are any other vehicles or cyclists or motorcyclists trying to over take you, hope that helped👍🏾

    What do you mean by closed junction?

    • @oliverhale2878
      @oliverhale2878 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A closed junction is a junction where you are not able to see either or both sides of the oncoming cars so if there is a junction where there is no obstructions and you can visibly see both left and right road then it's called an open junction if not then its a closed junction

    You guys are teaching people in a complicated method that confuses the learners. You say they should check the right mirror and left mirror but you don't tell them why they should do this. They should check their mirrors for any other vehicles. If a reason for something is repeated and emphasized on, almost everything can be learnt faster.

    I hate when people keep their car in gear when you come to a full stop.. so much strain on your clutch foot having to hold the clutch down for god knows how long. just put the car in neutral and when it’s clear then put the car in gear

    Why check the mirrors when you've already pulled into the road... that's just fukin stupid 😂 you'd pull out and be hit before even checking mirrors if that was the case.

      People who drive like this are the ones causing accidents, they're concentrated on evrything else than the traffic and people around.
