I have only done respite so far for 6 kids. I’ve had as young as 3 and as old as 13. All girls. The longest I’ve kept a respite was 3-4 weeks. Two of the respites I had regularly like 1 night a week thru the summer, sometimes weekends, etc. I still struggle with taking on a regular full time placement as a single person…
Respite is massively important and very needed! I think there’s actually a shortage of respite providers in my county. You’re being there even for just a short while is so important ❤️

I love the updates especially about how Dash eats books but was reading and how Buster is learning to share. They are opposite on the charts with height and weight. Both babies will get to have Christmas with you. That's great too. Looking forward to all of the future uploads!
