It was wiped. We lost so much pop rock history as the men in grey suits saw pop music not worth preserving. That's how Britain was then & so little is here of the great bands. The NME concerts of 64 65 66 did survive, sadly the Beatles '66 segment wasn't recorded on Epstein's orders, an Epstein black mark, I've got all 3 be of them.

He loved them & knocked on door after door trying to get them a recording contract, eventually EMI gave one but put them on one of their obscure subsidiary labels Parlophone where George Martin ran things at Abbey Road with EMI suits thinking this silly little group can go there & get rid of them, George Martin wasn't overwhelmed by them at the first session but still they have a little bit of something as individuals & as a group & the rest is history. And what history, that changed the face of popular music & society over the next 8-9 years.
