I definitely will have to get my hands on the GLM. Would you ever do a video of your top models of 2024? I would love to see you do a video series of your collection and the stories of what made you decide to get each model.

I've had the GLM Duesenberg since 2015 when it was issued. I've always found it to be a very well-done model. I am now and have always been very pleased with the overall look of the model. Now I've never seen the B&G model in person, so I can't speak to its overall look. But your comparison just reinforces my opinion of the one I have. I don't need two of them. It is an important car for sure, and the GLM version represents my need to have one in my collection and it does very well. Since I only paid $74 for mine 9-years ago, I'd say I got a real value today. Excellent review John, thanks. I've always wondered how these two compared, you've now taken care of that for me.

I like the comparison format. Would love to see you take a deeper dive into the similarities, differences, build quality. A $300 price difference. Is exclusivity worth that? Is it build quality? Handmade versus machine? On a shelf, does it stand out? I’m interested.

This is a matter of what you want in your collection and what you are willing to pay. In person, the build quality favors the EMC by a significant amount. Things like total part count and the delicacy of details, like the grille and wheels, not to mention the hood vents and exhaust, all favor the EMC. In hand, though, both are spectacular models. Your decision would be based on whether those extras were worth your money. Some folks can't see it, others love it.
