Another fantastic review John! Many thanks for your in-depth insights! I do want to clarify something that may be be confusing to some with regard to the images used. Everything you said was correct; the Cinnamon Bronze and Regency Rose come with the deluxe wheel covers, and the Aegean Aqua and Ming Jade come with the chrome wheels. One of the photos showed the Cinnamon Bronze with the chrome wheels, which is inaccurate (this photo was of an early Stamp prototype, which just happened to have the wrong wheels). Also the Ming Jade you are showing has the deluxe wheel covers, which is a "1 of 1" edition especially for you, since that was what your car had on it! 😁Hopefully this will address any possible confusion to viewers. I'm glad that you mentioned the development of the roof line! Stamp did an exemplary job on that, and like you said, it is NOT easy to get it right. To the casual observer, it appears to be a smooth, continuous line from the A-pillar to the rear fender, but in reality the 1/1 car has an almost imperceptible break in the roofline just forward of the back window, which Stamp captured perfectly! That is a remarkable feat to get that kind on nuance in a 1/43 scale model! As always, thanks for all you do for the hobby!
Man... These classic cars are TOO cool. Keep them coming. And you will sell WAY more if you look into building the colonnade GM A-Body platform cars (ESPECIALLY the 1976-'77 2-door Buick Regal and the same year model 2-door Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme). Please bring those cool cars. I PROMISE you will sell it WELL...
@Kuvakas Yes. In the colonnade (ESPECIALLY the 1976-'77 Oldsmobile 2-door Cutlass), the _'Johnny Lightning'_ brand 1:64 scale can't even keep them on the shelves in stores. Now IMAGINE a 1:18 scale or similar scale model of the colonnade 2-door Regal and Cutlass. It will probably be your BEST SELLING of all time. Please build BOTH.
Hello. I just bought this model, and it's the first time i said "waooohhh!" when i received it. I was VERY impressed by the details, the subtlety of the shape ! Very beautiful car. Same sensation with the chevrolet SS, but i prefer the Toronado 😊 For me, Stamp Models is the best manufacturer of 1:43 cars. Thanks for your videos !! Albin, from France.
The model looks very spectacular and neat. When you tell about Oldsmobile Toronado I firstly remember about 1966 1st generation. Why? Maybe the first reason- the picture of 1966 Toronado was pyblushed in Za rulem( At the steering wheel) magazine in tge historical article. The second reason- incredible model by Corgi toys equipped with golden jacks system. Thanks for wonderful review.
Mint models and Legacy Diecast are both great dealers and closely united. By 1970, Bill Mitchells was still head of design with David North working under him on the Toronado.

Thanks for watching, Albin. I agree!
This generation is the best looking of all the Toronado generations.
I would totally agree with that.

I agree. That first Toronado was quite a sensation!
Wow, this is Christmas before Thanksgiving ! Outstanding review JK 👍
Thanks! I had a green one. They were amazing cars!
@Kuvakas
IMO, those models are absolutely DDG, especially w/o the vinyl top.
Back in the day, we never paid much attention. But the lack of the vinyl top really puts the overall design in display. Very clean and smmoth.

Je serai en première ligne pour ce 66 ! Merci d'avoir regardé !
I purchased the cinnamon bronze one from mint models. They have sale discounts which I got.I wonder who designed the front end at olds.

Its a nice looking car compared to the plastic garbage they put out today. Good video.
Thanks for watching!
