Top tip! If you like tofu, and you also like noodles. You will find in your Asian market something called tofu sheets (Qian zhang). Cut them into strips like pasta, I boil them for about 4 minutes, then just put them in whatever sauce you want. They are insanely high protein. They have the texture of a very thin but Al Dente pasta and taste ever so vaguely of tofu. I don't understand why Western people have not deemed this the ultimate in high protein, low calorie food. You can put it in cold salads. I like mine in stir frys in place of noodles.
They’re a little hard to find even in asian grocery stores. I live in Pittsburgh, PA which has a looot of Asians (because of the universities). Lots of Asian stores here obviously, but most are on the smaller side. I’ve only seen one so far that has a variety of tofu that isn’t in blocks, and that store is in the Strip District which is known for terrible parking and heavy tourists... so you would have to decide if it’s worth the hassle 😅 that’s a great tip though! I feel like it was a trigger warning for those with EDs. She did it in a sort of light hearted way. But, if someone needs to avoid calorie counting as part of a recovery from an ED its a good thing to give people a heads up on.
Jordan actually did struggle with a ED and she herself said she obsessed over calories causing a ed at the beginning of her weight loss but you should check out her other videos going into more detail about it.
It's for weight loss... If someone can't watch typical weight loss content (especially since a lot of Jordan's content is around the fact that she used to be obese, and I assume her target audience is people like herself), that is not the responsibility of the content creator. People struggle with arachnaphobia, doesn't mean every spider pet hobbyist on youtube should put trigger warnings for phobias. It is the responsibility of the individual to know what they can and can't handle watching. There is a lot of information about hair care. Your specific needs depend on your hair porosity (Low, Normal, High) & Curl Type (Straight hair does have a curl type A1). Most of it is anecdotal, for me I have a very hard time because my hair is low porosity which means that it HATES protein.....& it is very hard to find protein free hair products. I honestly keep my hair lightened (except this year) just so I can use whatever products I want. The info that is helpful is the porosity info specifically, that is really the one thing you need to know about your hair....but as with everything it is still all about finding what works for your specific hair. Knowing your porosity can help you read ingredient lists & find the things that will not be great for your hair.
I have been more into eating plant based which is how I found you and enjoy your videos! I've always felt better eating more protein. As I'm looking into all the protein sources I'm finding that all the recommended high protein food has tons of carbs... besides soy and protein powder! How do you limit your carbs when beans and everything else has large amounts of it?
Are you trying to eat whole foods or do you not mind having mock meats? I think if you're not really into super processed mock meats and stuff, tvp is a good option (still a soy product though) But if you don't care about having whole foods stuff then I guess look for some mock meats that are cheap and easily available to you? Sorry if this isn't much help haha

Good thing food can be delicious in so many different ways, so we can all be healthy and satisfied, no matter our needs.

I think if you're not really into super processed mock meats and stuff, tvp is a good option (still a soy product though)
But if you don't care about having whole foods stuff then I guess look for some mock meats that are cheap and easily available to you?
Sorry if this isn't much help haha
@@yasaiaisa8363 thank you! I guess that would be my only option without adding huge amounts of calories or carbs! Maybe I'll just have to be more creative somehow with the whole foods lol!
Popcorn for dinner has been a staple for me on nights that I’m not crazy hungry and too lazy to cook but know I need to eat something
OMG THE FOOD SHITTALKING SWAZY😂😂😂
Wow it is so trippy when my favourite youtubers are featured in each other’s videos
I love this video! I love Jordan and you can tell that this video put you in a good mood and didn’t just piss you off like a couple of sisters we know would 😂
I love Jordan's aesthetic so I hope she turns out to be a normal youtuber
I love my popcorn just with a tablespoon of canola or sunflower oil popped in a pot, with some powdered sugar and a pinch of fine salt on top. :3
I wish there were as many videos offering easy, non-gross, healthy weight GAIN tips.... that don't require you to go on a bodybuilder diet.
I love pasta, and in spain you can buy red lentil pasta and it has a lot of protein and it is calorie dense it's great for weight loss.
Also TVP is bomb
I love watching you fangirl over Jordan. Hahaha. I love her too! Was so glad when I saw this video come up.
I love her channel! I'm so glad you made that video
Actually, I did think you looked especially cute in this video. :3 And I hope you and Jordan become friends. ~
I love love love all this popcorn chat. And I have a popcorn recipe for you, Like chilli nachos, but popcorn is the base. And you eat it with a teaspoon so your fingers don't get gross. This idea is how I'm going to make my millions
I feel that if Fully Raw Christina got excited about eggplant you would find it silly :))))
yeah cuz raw unseasoned eggplant is nasty
@@jamient Haha, true! I should have said zucchini but that's nasty too if raw and unseasoned, in my opinion. You know what I mean.. Let's say mango 😜
@@deeacrt2808 Christina would be like "Just eat 5 mangos, and 5 lbs of greens and you get most of what you need."
Shirataki noodles are made of, like, a yam starch or fiber of something. It also comes in blocks called konyaku or konjac
Got an add for vegan butter right after your popcornstory, magic.
You can spray water on the oil free popcorn right before seasoning it to make it stick. That's the only way I eat it and I love it, specially with MSG.
OKAY I'M HERE AND READY TO BLAST THIS VIDEO WITH LIVE COMMENTS FOR THAT ALGORITHM
It's really interesting hearing all of these tips and trick because I kind of do the exact opposite. I have some health issues that give me a really high caloric need, but also a pretty low appetite. I'm always like "how can I shove as many calories into the tiniest portion possible?" Good thing food can be delicious in so many different ways, so we can all be healthy and satisfied, no matter our needs.
Nuts and dates?
@@nr5076 nuts, dates, nut butters, extra oils, it's all going in lol.
Eat while watching TV and pause if you stop. Ask your doc before doing this.
A crossover I didn't know I needed
I can't stand spaghetti either. I would much rather have rigatoni or penne!
Un-ironically love your hair in this video.
"I don't like most things, it's a problem." LoL
Ah, my life's story. 🤦
Great tips for bringing weight down, gonna try popcorn your way too!!
Speaking of popcorn, when i was quite young my mother made us go on the Beverley Hills diet for a while. At the initial phase it was a single food per day or half day. I dreaded the popcorn days. Dry, no oil or salt. Uggghhh...."good" times.......
Low key abuse
Besides the amazing content may I just say that you look stunning? You glow
Baked seasoned potatoes with tahini sauce are the best thing ever. I ate that meal everyday for dinner for a year maybe
Isa Does It has soooo many mushroom filled recipes in it though XD but yes, that alphabet soup is bomb af.

C'mon you dont like spaghetti?! I'm watching you for years, but I don't know... I can't deal with your taste buds anymore Swayze!
I like zucchini cooked in the oven or grilled. I cook whatever vegetables in the oven. Broccoli becomes crispy! Beetroot, pepper, parsnip, Bryssel sprouts...
