I'm confused. Do either her or her family have COVID-19? If not, how can she say that it helps heal or recover? Also, a good percentage of the population that has a mild case already recover by themselves with only OTC medications so how can she say it will help heal and recover? Edit: it appears some of her family has been diagnosed with COVID-19 COVID-19 which brings up other questions: won't activated charcoal interfere with other medications they are taking? Are these supplements with their doctors approval? Or even knowledge? Also, taking extra supplements is not responsible. The body does not store extra vitamins. If you take 200 percent vitamin C it will not be 200 percent effective. At best, you will pee out the extra nutrients with some vitamins. An excess of other vitamins can actually lead to serious health effects.
According to the description of her video, she says some of her family members have COVID-19 and are currently recovering. My heart goes out to them, but obviously it's impossible to say that these supplements are why they're doing better.
Exactly! I totally agree. Not to mention any supplementation must be discussed with a doctor specially when taking prescription medication. She is just trying to sell things to anyone who'd believe her.
She actually said she has or had family members in hospital with it. Which begs the question how did she get her supplements past their doctors in C19 isolation wards? I smell bs

It's probably a good idea. If it were just the expensive vitamins and supplements I mean, whatever but the activated charcoal in combination with all of it. And no warning about what it does 😖.
"I'm not recommending anything (but give me that affiliate money)" I wonder how much of the stuff these people are promoting they actually use themselves. Also the silver. . . is the logic just "it's expensive stuff, thus good for me"?
There are laboratory studies that show silver having antimicrobial properties. But those are laboratory standards NOT the human body. There is literally nothing to suggest they help in that situation.
its KayBe silver can be used in very specific circumstances, most notably to prevent eye infections in newborns. But even that isn’t as common anymore because silver is damaging to human cells as well.
She seems so... gullible? She never explains anything, she never points people to any sources, she gets super defensive right away if anyone questions anything she says, she just believes in these things and because she does, it should be good enough reason for you to do too. Just an extra wee something that might be really important to mention re B12 supplementation. Some people dont absorb B12 orally at all, including non-vegans and people of extremely varied diets. I personally and a pharmacist that I work with have both found this out the hard way. Even if you are supplementing (for anything, but common with B12) and you get symptoms, GET TESTED! I'd be grateful if you had the time to spare and compile that info into one :3

the long term effects of vitamines on our health are still a mystery. I recently watched some documentaries in which doctors say it is risky to take multi-vitamines especially when you're mixing it with other "mutli-supplements". a guy did a self-experiment and took 3 multivitamines for 2 weeks (under supervision) and his vitamine E level got very high after 10 days which can be dangerous in the long term perspective. this is why I decided that I wouldn't take just any multivitamine and talk to my doctor/get tested before...

Activated charcoal? Seriously? I live in Russia. It's considered a cheap cure for mild food poisoning or a hangover. It's an old drug that was taken in very old times. Now there are a lot of much more modern analogues. If you take coal, you're treated like a Russian grandmother in the fifties. Or is it all about colour? Everybody's obsessed with black products, so they decided to eat activated charcoal. Bad choice.
My Ukrainian friend always takes this before she goes out to party. She always tries to make me take it too. She swears by it and says it will 100% prevent a hangover lol. I don’t really know how well it actually works though.
In my nutrition course in university, the professor recommended prenatal vitamins for anyone, even men. Because they are the most complete vitamin for the best price, my naturally weak nails actually don't tear when I take them... just take the label off so you don't scare people.
I singlehandedly have watched this video 50+ times. I simply cannot explain why I have hyper-fixated on it the way I have. TH-cam just recommends it at this point because they know I am going to rewatch. I think its time to join patreon.

In the video, she starts off by telling viewers that four of her family members have covid-19. She not only is using her family's health to sell these nonsense supplements, but she's telling viewers that this will help you fight it. It's so icky. She also does it again in her immune boosting juice video that was posted after the supplements video.
What is really sad and honestly, abhorrent, is how she obviously understands what is controversial or potentially illegal, what would get her video demonetized or removed. So she gets all of that, clearly. But she cares more about promoting her affiliate links and dancing around what she knows would prevent that. It doesn't even matter at that point if she even believes in what she's saying/selling or not. It's just an obvious cash grab-through views and affiliate links. It's REALLY disgusting.
"have her cake and eat it too". I've heard this all my life, but suddenly- Wait, if I have my cake, I AM going to eat, too. Just a thought that slid through rapidly and exploded a brain cell
This saying should be "eat your cake and have it to" because what it means is that you can't eat the cake and retain the cake at the same time, cause once you eat it you no longer have it.
Hey UV, I just want to say you look very nice here. Your hair is so shiny, you dressed very professionally, skin and makeup are on point. You put some extra effort in and it shows. Also great content as always
She promotes products that end up costing around $500 total. Lol, yeah, right. In THIS economy? Please. This is incredibly tone deaf, especially if cheaper supplements are available. It's so misleading and harmful. Just...consult your doctor, find what works for you, and stay safe. Practice social distancing.
I studied nutrition for 3 years and I'm on my way to becoming a nutritionist. So I'm not a dietician or nutritionist, but I have a lot of experience in these fields. I can honestly say you don't need supplements except vitamins you may not be consuming through your diet, but, the food you eat does play a huge role in how effective your immune system can fight off pathogens. Me and my boyfriend got a horrible virus back in January (possibly the first wave of covid). He was not eating as good as me in terms of nutritional benefits, ie he was eating a lot more processed stuff. I eat a balanced diet but I stick mostly to grains, fruits, veg, legumes etc. His illness lasted for nearly 2 weeks whereas mine lasted for about 4 days. It very well could be that I simply have a better immune system than him, but there still was a huge difference in our recoveries. If you didn't already know, it takes a lot of energy for the digestive system to process "unhealthy" foods, such as those full of chemicals, sugar and salt. This energy should be used for the body to fight off pathogens while you're sick. Not many people have been happy to hear this for some reason, but I also drank a lot of good quality green tea with fresh lemon juice and honey while I was sick. About 4 cups a day. I didn't learn this combo through my nutrition studies, but all those three ingredients contain a ton of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, so I kind of put two and two together, and it eased my symptoms and discomfort, and that good stuff can help boost the immune system. But do not drink too much green tea if you have liver problems!! So there's my take on it. You don't need these intricate, expensive supplements. You just need a good diet for the most part.
Colloidal silver can turn your skin blue, if you get too much. There is historical accounts of people who had high levels in their natural water source, and the whole family had a blue, or purple tinge to their skin 😳

The reason Kristina never mentions the price of anything is because it is irrelevant to her and she doesnt get that it is for most people.

This reminds me of the evangelicals selling holy water to sick or scared people
well all religion is man made to control people.
Also, if you are Christian you can create your own Holy Water by praying over water and asking God's blessing. Priests are not inherently more holy than regular people. Faith is a personal relationship.
Please note that I am not here to convert people or promote faith healing over traditional healing. I am not saying anyone has to believe. I am saying if you are a religious person and you do believe then you can have a personal relationship with the divine that doesn't have false religious figures manipulating or exploiting you

Kristina monetizes this idea that good (health) is never enough. You can always be better, do more, have better skin, moods, digestion instead of accepting that bodies and minds are not flawed but will naturally get sick sometimes and that you will have up and downs... It makes me really sad
Also there are other goals in life. Spiritual growth is important and other personal development
meanwhile most people who have chronic diseases are just happy to have ONE decent day where their condition isnt as bad.
Kristina: "Magnesium makes you poop sometimes."

The Rü that made me laugh 😂
I smell bs
Her grandparents both in pretty ripe age I think in their 90s recovered.
The Bards Lament I think she said her grandparents had it, and there were some photos of them standing behind a glass door in their house waving at the camera. Who knows what’s true though.

There is literally nothing to suggest they help in that situation.
i’m sure she doesn’t take any of that stuff, nor probably pays for it herself
its KayBe silver can be used in very specific circumstances, most notably to prevent eye infections in newborns. But even that isn’t as common anymore because silver is damaging to human cells as well.
She seems so... gullible? She never explains anything, she never points people to any sources, she gets super defensive right away if anyone questions anything she says, she just believes in these things and because she does, it should be good enough reason for you to do too.
There were 14 products on that table. I do not believe she takes all of them regularly. If she did, considering how she eats, she would be dead by overdose of some of these products.

It took me having permanent nerve damage to realise that I wasnt absorbing oral B12.
Ugh, I know right, same with me and iron. Sucks to learn the hard way. Feeling sympathy pain for the intramuscular injections you would have needed!
I have this trouble, so b12 and iron shots it is! I also take 2 oral vitamins perscribed by a Dr, I guess they're working? I haven't been told they aren't anyway. So is it just a b12 and iron thing? (That our bodies don't like absorbing?)

the long term effects of vitamines on our health are still a mystery.

It’s nuts to me that she promotes her diet as the perfect complete diet and then you need $500 worth of supplements on top of it? Of course I’m not against supplements (normal ones) but she is completely contradicting herself. It’s so obvious that money is the reason for her support of these products.
What Kristina recommends is dangerous. A friend of mine actually had to have her stomach pumped because she took too many supplements.
In my nutrition course in university, the professor recommended prenatal vitamins for anyone, even men. Because they are the most complete vitamin for the best price, my naturally weak nails actually don't tear when I take them... just take the label off so you don't scare people.
You know you did goofed when both unnatural vegan and freeleethebananagirl calls you out
I singlehandedly have watched this video 50+ times. I simply cannot explain why I have hyper-fixated on it the way I have. TH-cam just recommends it at this point because they know I am going to rewatch. I think its time to join patreon.
Just looking at all those bottles makes me tired. I can't imagine remembering to take all of those. I barely remember to take my ~$1 a day multivitamin.
Kristina is quite well off, which is why she hardly e-ver brings up prices of stuff for which she shills. 😲 😮 😳 🙄 😜
Ah yes 'boost' your immune system!!! Auto immune issues are fantastic! Increase your chances of developing them!!!
(this is coming from a very sarcastic person with a slightly messed up immune system)
I've heard this all my life, but suddenly-
Wait, if I have my cake, I AM going to eat, too.
Just a thought that slid through rapidly and exploded a brain cell
This saying should be "eat your cake and have it to" because what it means is that you can't eat the cake and retain the cake at the same time, cause once you eat it you no longer have it.
Sine you mentioned wanting to make more light hearted videos, I would love to see your favorite vegan makeup and hygiene products.
Hey UV, I just want to say you look very nice here. Your hair is so shiny, you dressed very professionally, skin and makeup are on point. You put some extra effort in and it shows. Also great content as always
"Look at me, being a professional". Sounds like a song I'd be singing to myself as well.
I got so happy when I saw that there were still 10 minutes left after the main portion of the video 🤗
I know what you're talking abt but it was a gene mutation that was spread through the family by years of inbreading.
But the man that did get mutated by the silver had his skin turned blue from the silver itself. (She talks abt it in the vid a lil.)
