For anybody who wants to go vegan: try looking into what you can eat- instead of what you can’t. Just search for some vegan recipes and have a meal plan for a few weeks. It was way easier for me to go vegan having a few recipes in hand than to just go to the store and look at all the things I can’t eat anymore.
Exactly! I was always in awe of people who know how to forage and now I finally gathered the courage to discover all the herbs and edible plants that grow in nature. My fav so far is sanguisorba minor, it tastes like cucumber and is super pretty 😍 going vegan really helped me discover something amazing!
Love the fact that we have a black woman providing us with valuable information on veganism and plant based living. We don’t see that enough. A beautiful sight indeed 🌱
My doctor did a blood test thinking it would come back deficient. He was definitely shocked and said I was the healthiest person he'd seen in two weeks.
@ a two week time is a pretty believable time frame. Most people with plant based diets are scrutinized for their nutritional intake. This story is completely within the realms of possibility.
@ lol yes they do. Doctors try to compliment their patients to build up trust and a good relationship. My doctor constantly compliments me in exaggerated ways, for example once she said my genes are some of the best she has seen after running a panel to see what medication would work best for me. Obviously that’s probably not true, but she wanted to emphasize the positive results of the test. It’s probably not true that this person has the best of the best blood results, but it’s well within the realm of possibility that the doctor said they have some of the best results they have seen recently. Has your doctor really never complimented you? This is not the flex you think it is.
Unfortunately, the soil have been B12 depleted due to the over use of pesticides(killing insects/worms) in modern farming, the worm's lava and microbes create B12 in soil. Also, excessive farming in some areas have caused a severe reduction of B12 in the soil.
@@jsmit9484 Yes, my point was that humans original diet was vegan and there was not a problem getting B12 from the vegan diet and the animal food source was NOT the only food source with B12.
@@jsmit9484 yeah fortifying is the sustainable like building soil health. Sure it's better then not when eating from depleted soils but it should be viewed as a temporary fix while we work to improve our soil health. Which In turn will lead to environmental health and human health
ya’ll, going vegan 3 years ago was the best decision I have ever made. the community is so welcoming, my skin has cleared up and working out has been way easier since I feel so energized and motivated because of better and faster results. Also by living this way you are putting hundreds of animals out of harm’s way and helping the planet by drastically reducing your impact on the environment!! If you listen to the guidelines in this video, you genuinely won’t regret it.
im currently six months vegan and really loving it, never anticipated ever going vegan due to negative stereotypes about the community being toxic, and about stereotypes of vegans being vitamin deficient, mineral deficient or protein deficient, and also due to stereotypes about vegan soy boys being feminine and lacking testosterone. Being vegan has been one of the best changes in my life, and it's made me a better and more creative cook.
Such good advice. I’ve been vegan for 20+ years and really appreciate how this lovely young woman presented the information. I think it would be very helpful for someone thinking of going vegan.
It was easy to listen too. My wife as been vegan issh for over a year. And yep she looks amazing. I’m now ready to step up my efforts. Great presentation
Want to be a vegan? Learn Indian recipes! They are the simplest of all and the most flavourful ♥️♥️♥️than non vegetarian food! Specially south Indian food. I've seen many videos of foreigners making vegan food , I appreciate and really respect that. But what I find is it's difficult to cook & some aren't much tasty. So keep your basics as Indian cuisine . Ull find it easy , tasty, filling!
Story Cox I’m just wondering... the human body is made to take nutrients from natural sources not supplements. I’d rather get my b12 from animal protein than a plastic pill. But that’s just me.
OMG! I thought I recognized her face, I went to school with her in Okinawa, Japan. She was on one of my cheerleading teams . Very sweet person. Great informative video!
Same!! My grandmother passed from breast cancer so when the link (since proven false in humans) between soy and breast cancer was suggested I literally avoided it for YEARS. As a vegan. I’m grateful to have soy, edamame and tofu back:)
I’m so impressed with this dietician. She is 100% accurate, a rarity when it comes to people understanding a vegan diet. And she looks fabulous! Will be following her for sure.
She is amazing, though she could have mentioned that B12 is supplemented to animals because our soils nowadays are deficient in colbalt. Also factory farmed animals (over 90% of the flesh consumed) have little to zero access to actual soil. Veganism is primarily about the animals.
Well.. tbh, she said quite some stuff in this video that is simply wrong and not backed by evidence. She made a video about it. th-cam.com/video/rCn9o4PwAB8/w-d-xo.html But I agree, she's super sweet
I‘ve been vegan for almost a year now and my Mom went insane being worried that I won‘t get enough minerals and all that so at some point I agreed to take a blood test. Turns out I was missing absolutely nothing and I‘m totally healthy:) I was super glad because I love my diet, it is just something that fulfills me and makes me really happy!
@@TheMaisieFlock the best part is, there's so many variations of Dal that are tasty as well! Even as an Indian I still aren't aware of all the variety. That's when you know Indian cuisine is super diverse!

I'm not vegan or vegetarian and a very big meat eater but after doing some research I'm going plant based . I want to be vegan and convincing my mom and dad become too .
Start off by trying a vegetarian diet and then make the full switch to veganism, really lessens the possibility that you'll turn back to a meat-rich diet 🙂 Best of luck with your quest, you're making a brilliant healthy decision!
Oh yeah! If you just search for “vegan bodybuilder” in the TH-cam search bar it will pull up so many! Also I recommend watching the Documentary “The Game Changers” on Netflix. It’s a documentary based around vegan athletes. 🥰 it’s very informative.
Leah Peltzer Love that documentary!! It’s one that I think is equally interesting for vegans and non-vegans alike! I’m a vegan powerlifter, but I’ve found many useful tips from the vegan bodybuilding community!
absolutely. especially because a lot of POC culture revolves around plant based recipes-it is only after colonization and slavery that “soul food” came to be...
Well, a lot of poc who live on government assistance will rather buy unhealthy food than healthier foods because they get more for less. I work for a grocery store and see it all the time. Carts packed to the top with nothing but empty calories.
I've been vegan 3 years now and it's so refreshing to hear Delilah speak, this is exactly my approach to veganism, it's rewarding and very simple when you know the facts :) I would never go back!
YES carbs are so healthy!! the low carb ppl are so scared of them, it makes me so confused like sis whole grains, fruit, & veggies are what our body runs on
Lol, I just got grilled yesterday by a nurse at my kids doctors office. She really wanted me to feel guilty about not feeding my children dairy. Then I was given a pamphlet about how to feed my children paid for by the Michigan dairy industry 🤦
It’s not the dairy that is bad, it’s the modern day processing. Raw milk is superior and very good for humans, pasteurized milk and milk products are not.
Gonna say this because no one has mentioned it and this would've been helpful to me starting out: IODINE IS ESSENTIAL. I was in the worst pain and hormonal instability while undergoing thyroid issues. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE you guys supplement iodine or consume a healthy amount of seaweed/iodized salt!
The UN actually recommends everyone should be using iodised salt if their tab water is not iodised, regardless of whether they are vegan or not! So good advice!
Ok but if you have a selenium deficiency and supplement iodine then you’re going to make your iodine deficiency worse! Please don’t tell people to supplement without all the proper information!
She is pretty, but I believe her main point is to get the proper information out. However, I don't feel that there's any harm in acknowledging that she's just as beautiful as she is intelligent.
No judgement. This person didn’t judge anyone just stated facts and offered advice. I love this talk. It made me feel more comfortable with my journey while also educating me💗
There's tons of recipes that exclude milk products and ghee as well. Basically what you prefer cooking with. I'm hopeful that you'd find some interesting ones ! :)
And I guess that's why India is the capital of diabetes type 2, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, high visceral fat etc. High dietary sugar intake mixed with vegetable oils is usually a bad combo for health.
@Rishee Sreenivasan India is actually has recipes which are the most vegan friendly. Only problem is the 'ghee' mentality that our parents have been brainwashed with. Now when I make my food, I simply remove the dairy items like ghee and butter and panner etc.. Then I'm left over with vegan and cruelty free food like Rajmah Chawal, Roti Sabzi etc etc. I'm encouraging more memebers of my family to go vegan by telling them the horrible truth of the dairy industry and the meat industry. Gau mata ki jai is just a slogan in our side of the planet.. the truth is so much darker.
@@trashAndNoStar "Gourmet Vegetarian Kitchen" has a great tempeh recipe on her channel! Honestly, every one of her videos are amazing, they make me want to cook so much more.
Tempeh is my absolute favorite, but seems to be much harder to find in restaurants and in the local grocery stores (shout out to Mellow Mushroom for offering BBQ Tempeh and vegan cheese on their pizzas though!🍕). Many people aren't familiar with it and either dont know it exists, or think that it's the same as Tofu... 🙄🤭

Thanks for debunking the “milk makes your bones stronger” myth. I also read the study and countries with higher milk consumption show higher rates of osteoporosis. It was a lie created by the dairy industry. So happy professionals like her are speaking out about it.💚
Asmeret G humans are not made to consume dairy. baby cows are. there is a reason you need prolonged exposure to dairy to be tolerant and/or receive benefits. your outlier of lactose persistence people doesn’t outweigh the mass amounts of people who are naturally lactose intolerant or become intolerant, and the correlation between dairy consumption and bone breaks.
@@boomoon584 Calcium is Fat Soluble which is why it's Vital to drink Whole Milk. This insures proper Absorption of The Calcium ;) That's Why The Fat's In There. Too many People drink 2/1% (YUCK!!!) &Skim, "Which is Water that's LYING about being Milk.", Lol It Is indeed possible to be Calcium Deficient even if You drink Un-Whole Milk Daily. Vitamin K2 is also VERY Important as It ensures All That Calcium doesn't end up deposited in The Wrong places, Like Your in Your Heart Valves & Arteries ;)
You don't have to get calcium from milk, but we still need calcium. Your bone matrix is made of calcium. Muscles don't contract without calcium. Encouraging no calcium consumption is a bad idea, and green leafy veggies are lot a good source (look at a list of calcium sources vs the RDA on the ODS calcium health professional fact sheet). You need at least a few good sources of it a day, if not almond milk, soy milk, oatmilk, tofu, you can take tums or have a supplement. I am an MEd RD LD and do not agree with her saying calcium makes bones weaker. That would not be a largely held believe or accepted interpretation of the science in the field. I do agree it doesn't have to come fr dairy.
Aha, and it shows that she is a bad professional. There are some studies that suggest this milk worses your bones story, and many that don't. So you can not claim it like this in a video. It's just not objective.
Good for you (and us)! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Where others would say "What difference does race make?" I would say make sure you focus on those things that are unique about us [black people](since many don't care to acknowledge this about us) like the fact that melanin makes us more prone to low vitamin D levels and that we need a lower recommended dose of sodium because we may have a gene that carries a higher sensitivity to sodium which may contribute to high blood pressure. This dietitian may know this but failed to mention any of this so not to offend anyone who might say, "What does race have to do with it?" Then again maybe she doesn't. Well just adding that focused knowledge under your belt will make you stand out as a dietitian. Anyone who wishes to silence those who tailor information for us are part of the problem. Best of luck to you! ❤
As someone who is transitioning to a plant based diet this video was super helpful and educational! I also love that the lady was very eloquent yet she didn't overcomplicate it.
Plausible Grouch honestly men haven’t ever said anything offensive to me as far as i remember. they just go “hm, i could never” and continue with their life 🤷🏼♀️
I feel like only men use the "rabbit food" quote too often. They gotta feel like hunters while using their wives mini van to drive to Costco to get an air-vacuumed steak 🙄 Not all, but definitely they ones who complain about eating vegetables.
I am vegetarian since i was 13, (8 years ago) and everyone asks me how I remain slim and never gain weight despite eating whatever I want! My future plan is to go vegan 🥦💚
If you have the specific genetic mutation to process the milk of other animals why forgo it? Lactase persistence is a massive evolutionary advantage over those who do not have it.

@@paramountofpuns6913 I know people make claims to be nutrition specialists without merit but a Clinical Nutritionist & Dietitian can both hold B.S. degrees & sit for the dietetics registration exam to be a R.D. & licensed to practice. Some may disagree with the large food processing corporate influence bankrolling the professional organization & the colleges thereby muddying the scientific data of the studies they finance so they prefer not to join or even practice in medical practices where insurance may decide what & when to cover nutrition services. That is why functional nutrition came about. It's best to check credentials before taking advice from any medical provider - nurses are another provider we must ask for credentials since everyone from nursing assistants to LPNs, BSNs, RNs NPs & PhDs all fall under the category of Nurse and work together in every department but have various levels of skills, specialization & yet are essential to quality patient care. However, the longer even a nurse assisitant has been in the field may have better equipped them than a newer advance care nurse fresh out of school though.
This young lady is absolutely stunning! She speaks so fluently and clearly with amazing articulation! Her knowledge is so pure ! She should definitely make a podcast or a TH-cam channel !
THANK YOU! So many people are uneducated on this topic and make assumptions towards vegan and vegetarian diets. I will show this video the everyone now.
Great video, we went vegan three years ago and have never looked back. This lifestyle has single-handedly eliminated several illnesses and diseases that we were at risk of getting based on our family tree. We now have dedicated our TH-cam channel to showing people lots of options to make delicious attainable 100% plant-based meals
three weeks ago I decided to make 2/3 of my meals plant based. even though i do consume fish and pork occasionally still, I feel so much better. the smallest changes do wonders!
celebrating one year as a vegan today! i had a blood panel done recently and everything is normal, no concerns :) my dr was happy when i told him i was vegan and still getting my nutrition! it's not impossible. i don't take supplements or anything, i just cook 100% of my meals and eat healthy.
I mean I would hope she's educated considering she works as a dietician lol.... If she's not well educated on the thing she does for a living then there's a major issue
i hope Condé Nast / bon appetit take note of how easy it is to find black experts in their field, be they chefs or dieticians, who also have great presence on video. well done to buzzfeed for doing this (representation is the bare minimum, i hope she was paid for her work!)
bon appetit has had a somali chef come and cook on their channel several times and have featured restaurants of varying ethnicities. Conde Nast does the 50 state videos that are basically diversity on video. Like Billy said, this is about veganism, don't make it about race.
Thank you very much Melanie for recognizing and highlighting the importance of Black representation in nutrition and vegan content! Yes, I was paid appropriately. Glad to say that I've had pretty good experiences with Buzzfeed producers thus far.
Yes, now tell me does the average American get proper nutrition from their daily food diet. I work at a grocery store and see families chock their carts full of oreos, lunchables, processed foods, Hungry Man dinners, and stuff like Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls and that doesn't look like complete nutrition for anyone.
It's on plantbased, vegan is a different ball game , vegan isn't about health it's about stopping animal cruelty and suffering it's a lifestyle this should say plantbase not vegan its the wrong message :)
My mom is a chef and even though she doesn’t want to go vegan or vegetarian, she still lets me go vegetarian and avoid dairy. She’d probably kill me if I went completely vegan though, aha. I’m going to college in two years so I’ll be able to make a fuller transition. Some non-vegan foods I still wouldn’t mind eating (like if I had chickens, I’d be okay eating their eggs, but not eggs in general), but it’s difficult right now when I don’t have full autonomy over my diet.
I am in the exact same boat. It took a lot of explaining and convincing just to get my mom to let me give up eggs and eat chicken only once a week, though I'm well on my way to convincing her to let me omit meat completely. A year from now I'll be on my way to uni and I'm fully intending to use that independence to go vegan. I'll admit dairy products are my crutch and where I live didn't have many plant based alternatives, only until very recently. It'll definitely make the transition easier. Can't wait!
I totally understand your situation, my family kinda supported me but the concerned questions kept popping up Stay strong and stay informed about recipes and research! 💚
@Nymphadora Tonks Not vegan but mostly plant based. I use cashew milk or walnut milk. I only use coconut milk in cooking like making a curry or something.
I went vegan three years ago, and I have honestly never felt better! I am the healthiest I have been, and I never worry about getting enough nutrients. I just eat what I feel, and the vegan food always gives me nutrients! I also almost never get sick. I got sick at least a few times a year before going vegan, and now I can’t even remember the last time I got sick! 🌱
I also just take a multivitamin and vegan essential amino acids everyday...I also take creatine and B12...you don’t have to take these (except B12) but it definitely helps...especially if you work out
multivitamins are not great for us, there's plenty of research showing they give us very little benefits and they can also be harmiful if they have a lot of vitamin A or calcium in them.
Jennifer Drake it takes a looong time to show symptoms of B12 deficiency. And even if you get enough from fortified foods, it’s not a good risk to promote even if it works for you.:)
@AM definitely not promoting it lmao. Just saying you can get all your vitamins and minerals from food. It’s a great idea to take some supplements to be on the safe side.
did anyone else notice the way she speaks and smiles is so angelic? The kindness and knowledge she brings to the conversation and the general the way she approaches this topic is just amazing
Just went from pescetarian for 3 years to vegetarian~ I've been focusing on getting tons of omega 3 from seeds in my fiet and even put chia and flaxseeds in my banana breads, sandwiched etc. Also have been trying more full vegan foods and I've already quit dairy a few months ago do to sensitivities, and its so easy and delicious!
I’ve been vegan for 10 years and this is perhaps the best video I’ve seen to share with non vegans, especially those who, despite all the horrors of farming, still resist. This succinctly and gently describes every food group, is packed full of information that is so quick and easy to absorb. There’s no wasted words, no rambling. In a very subtle way, this is quite a tour de force. Kudos to the dietician and her beautiful presentation because despite my zero attention span and already knowing it all anyway! , I watched to the very end. I will definitely recommend this to non vegans. Thank you x
Whow! Hardly ever seen so much essential knowledge collected so compact and yet so "easy-to-digest" and encouraging at the same time. Highly recommended! Thank you Delila!
I've been a vegan for six years. Back when I used to eat meat, every so often I'd get that horrid backlash of vermin that would come up in my mouth. Although I brushed my teeth and used Listerine, it still happened, but not long after I became a vegan, it went away. I haven't experienced that nastiness in 6 years, and I do not miss it. I think it was a way of showing me that it is wrong to eat animals. Yes, I am a vegan, but no it's not for the diet. Rather, it is because I truly do love animals, and I am against all torment. It's my personal protest against all torment.
I'm going to go vegan for at least a year and have a question about eggs and honey. What if you find a local farm where there animals are treated well and have plenty of access to good food, would it be okay to consume eggs and honey from there? Thanks for your response!
@@joym8830 What was done wrong is the entrapment of any beings including us. Believe it our not, there are beings who are responsible for doing it, and some of them truly are playing an evil game with us. Consider the discovery of gases that seem to just magically appear to be sprayed out from another dimension, and then swirl to make stars. There are definitely unseen beings who are very much responsible for our existence and that of others. We cannot fight back against what we can't see, so what's the next best thing? Protest! If we give them an excuse, they will rip our skin. Look at the horror we already have to face. For some of us, maybe not at this time, but definitely later in life. Should we prove these beings to be justified by purposely harming less fortunate beings, or should we protest and start utilizing science as a tool to work towards stopping all torment on our planet? I choose the latter. Even if we can never achieve that goal, by working towards it, we certainly are making a statement that it's wrong for those beings to be doing what they are doing to us. Only an indolent minded person would think that there's nothing that's responsible for our existence. That's asinine! Everything comes from something, and so did we and the rest of the living creatures on our planet. About the farm. I'm going to leave that choice up to you. Indeed, even the act of eating is a protest. We eat because we protest against being murdered by starvation. Or at least that's how I feel about it, but now that I'm aware of what those poor animals have to endure, I choose not to ever eat them again! I don't condone imprisonment, torture, and murder. That's also happening to us, but in a different way. What was done to us here is wrong, and I choose to voice my opinion against it by choosing to do what's right.

It’s probably not true that this person has the best of the best blood results, but it’s well within the realm of possibility that the doctor said they have some of the best results they have seen recently. Has your doctor really never complimented you? This is not the flex you think it is.
Actually, most factory farmed animals are also b12 deficient. They are being supplemented b12 in their food.
Unfortunately, the soil have been B12 depleted due to the over use of pesticides(killing insects/worms) in modern farming, the worm's lava and microbes create B12 in soil. Also, excessive farming in some areas have caused a severe reduction of B12 in the soil.
@@daw7773 Exactly. But it's really not an issue. There's nothing wrong with supplementing B12
@@jsmit9484 Yes, my point was that humans original diet was vegan and there was not a problem getting B12 from the vegan diet and the animal food source was NOT the only food source with B12.

ya’ll, going vegan 3 years ago was the best decision I have ever made. the community is so welcoming, my skin has cleared up and working out has been way easier since I feel so energized and motivated because of better and faster results.

She said there’s 8 essential amino acids but there’s 9

As an Indian this is mostly what we eat in general, if anyone is interested please check out the Channels that do the recipes . I
There's tons of recipes that exclude milk products and ghee as well.
At least Indians eat raw dairy, eggs, ghee etc so it is not as bad as a vegan diet I will give them that.

I LOVE Milk/Dairy :D
Asmeret G humans are not made to consume dairy. baby cows are. there is a reason you need prolonged exposure to dairy to be tolerant and/or receive benefits. your outlier of lactose persistence people doesn’t outweigh the mass amounts of people who are naturally lactose intolerant or become intolerant, and the correlation between dairy consumption and bone breaks.

It Is indeed possible to be Calcium Deficient even if You drink Un-Whole Milk Daily.

What do you mean when you say "backlash of vermin that would come up in my mouth"?
@@torenmcknight You must know as a meat eater. Every so often a puke taste comes in your mouth. Don't lie about. It did me and I used to wonder about the cause. However, not long after becoming a vegan, it disappeared. You can deny it, but you know the truth.
I was vegetarian for 6 years and now vegan for 1 year. I enjoy my food a lot, my health check-ups are always good and my body and conscience feel amazing ♡
Whats the difference between vegan and vegetarian?
@@proudexmuslim2354 , Vegetarian can consume some animal products such as dairy and eggs.

This is so encouraging. I love how all vegans or those who are knowledgeable always tell you to be kind to yourself
Dietitian: *talks about vitamin D*
Me *thinking about quarantine* : and they all blame veganism because we dont eat death-
I’ve been vegan for around half a year, and I’m so thankful that my parents let me follow this journey, because I’m just turning 16 and I’m feeling great. I used to struggle with food a lot, but since going vegan I feel like I’m putting good food inside my body that I need and it helps me keep on going. Now I’m not saying you can’t feel like this on a normal diet, but I couldn’t , and this transition helped me so much. I of course make sure I consume enough protein daily and nutrients, and I also take a B 12 and and Omega 3 supplement daily, so in conclusion, I think if you’re thinking about going vegan, then as long as you can buy good quality food, go for it !
Love this ! I became a healthy Vegan a year ago and now I’m studying to become a registered dietician. I plan to focus solely on a Whole Foods plant based Vegan diet. Your video is great and your skin looks amazing. Thank u fir the great video :))
Seeing a black RD is so inspiring to me! I’m in my last semester of completing my dietetics degree, and will be doing the same some day ☺️
So, hows the degree?
You’ve got it! Definitely need more black RDs.
I've been following a (mainly) plant based diet for about 2 years now and this is really good and reassuring advice for anyone interested in transitioning to vegan, thank you for that!
I’ve been vegetarian for 24 years and vegan for 18 years. Take vitamin D (with food) and B12 (without) and stay away from processed foods! Don’t smoke or drink alcohol (sorry) and exercise daily
What an amazing video! I want to give a shout out to Delilah and other registered dietitians out there providing guidance on making dietary lifestyle choices. Their training is really rigorous and I would personally never take dietary advice from anyone but a RD. And this video was so comprehensive and easy to understand. Awesome job!!!
She is so amazing and knowledgeable! I love the way she puts the information forward and also how understanding and non-pressurous she is. This video is literally like a vegan-basics wisdom compendium❤️🙏🏼
Pregnant vegan here💚 i take supplements on top of eating plenty of whole foods and protein smoothies with chia in them
honestly, for me it's not about the health benefits of going vegan (although it's a huge plus)...
for me it's about treating other living beings and the earth with respect.
it's all about the mindset and as a vegan I feel whole and in alignment with my values and morals
accept for the millions of rodents you kill for farming. But who cares about them, right?
@@ct1762 veganism is about reducing the amount of harm our existince creates to the minimum that's possible.
it's about the intention to do something good.
as a meat eater you're *purposely* paying for animals like pigs an cows to be killed *AND* rodents are being killed for the plants you eat and the plants that the farm animals (whose flesh you're buying from) eat.
also: even by walking we're probably crushing little insects like ants beneath our feet, but there's something we can't avoid... we can't just literally float in the air :D ... and we also need to eat SOMETHING, so why don't we choose to eat something that createt the LEAST harm as possible?
@akbrs Get out of here dude. Go preach somewhere else. Stop wasting your time.
Finally somebody straight forward, to the point, clear, puts all the facts out there, easy to understand. She's great! I've eaten vegan for lunch, dinner, and snack for years not even trying - just eating the foods I love (and I can't have dairy). Working out dinner. For me it's the mental stigma of not getting enough protein and you'll still be hungry. It's switching my brain. Love this video.
This gal has the most peaceful voice and energy I've ever heard. Wow!!
I love this she explained everything so well in words I cant explain to my family who dont understand. Love this so much 💕
This video was so helpful. With Delilah’s slow speech and great explanations, I got a lot from this !! Thank u
Ms. Bisase. Thank you so much for your very generous portions of knowledge on being vegan. I have been a vegan/pescatarian for 3 years now and always willing to learn. You are clearly very bright, beautiful and carry an assured tone on this subject. Thank you so much. God Bless you. 🙏
@@atCatLeigh because that is what I believe myself to be. Relax. Its my life, my diet not yours.
@@atCatLeigh I just realized that I could have been nicer in responding to you and I apologize. I do need to reconsider what I am because I am not a strict vegan if I also eat fish. God bless you and Thank you for your insight. 🙏
Her saying just be kind to yourself really made me so happy❤️
When I was told I had severe anemia, I went on a vegan diet and ate a ton of lentils. I’m talking lentil soup, lentil enchiladas, lentil nachos, lentil chili. Of course I incorporated a ton of other vegetables.
What does anemia do to u?
Why not just take supplements? Jeez...
akbrs it really is. I told the same thing by doctors.

This is a surprisingly informative video. The ones I've seen usually only covers an individual topic but this one covered a broad range of misconceptions and FAQs while staying extremely informative.
