Thank you for showing us exactly how some of the rides work with a power chair. It takes careful planning each step of the way for a trip of any kind with a wheelchair, especially in a 400 lbs. chair-not counting the driver. The video helps with some unknowns.
Thank you so much for posting this. My friend and I are planning my birthday trip and this shows exactly what I needed to know for going with my power wheelchair.
I hope this is true about the ramps on the rides for the wheelchairs. A couple yrs ago I rented a wheelchair cause I'm disabled. I went with my caretaker. No one got a ramp out for me. When I went on small world , I had to transfer out of my wheelchair with my caregivers help. When the ride was over I had to cross over 2 boats to get to my wheelchair. It was aweful .
I'm so sorry you had a bad experience! Next time, consider going to City Hall and explaining your needs to them and the experience you had last time and they should accommodate you.

This video was so helpful in planning our upcomingg trip!
Do they have to go alone on most rides ?
No! You have room for one companion next to you on all rides. The Jungle Cruise you are surrounded by people. They just load you first!
@@angelacoate What about Pirates of Caribbean?
@@michelehowlin7900 They have a transfer access vehicle and a bench, but it is not a ride where you can remain in your wheelchair.
@@angelacoate Do you happen to have any pictures of that transfer bench? Thanks for the video!
