    Okay this was incredibly informative and a perfect POV. To be completely honest, Disneyland needs to redo several rides and their “access” points for folks. It’s now 2023 and folks deserve the smoothest experience. I am loving y’all’s sunshine and smiles though! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! ❤❤❤

      Thank you so much for commenting. You are right, there is room for improvement for sure. But we had an awesome time.

      The newer rides are definitely better, and they’re working on it. Haunted Mansion is currently in a massive refurbishment to make the queue more wheelchair accessible. Improvement is always possible and definitely needed, especially in Fantasyland. But space is just very limited in that part of the park.

    Thank you so much, this is the exact kind of video I needed to see to plan to go in a few weeks with my aunt who is bound to an ECV. This really helped to show in detail what she should expect at each ride. Fantasyland being the most worrisome. I’m glad you guys had an amazing trip ❤❤❤

      I’m so glad it was helpful! We started this channel to make the videos we wished we could have found when we started traveling with a disability. I hope you and your Aunt have an amazing trip. And if you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

    I was super curious to watch this since the park is so old but I know CA generally does a fantastic job with accessibility so good to see how many transfer vehicles they had. As a logistics junkie I am ALWAYS fascinated by the ride timing stuff so even though I don't currently travel with someone requiring a wheelchair this is still so interesting to me! (I geek out about logistics like Adam geeks out over Tron LOL)

      It was a challenge in some cases. The ride timing was new info for me. But it is very important in Disneyland. I did not notice it in Disney World, so seeing how they run empty vehicles to keep the ride going was fascinating in Disneyland. You do not have a lot of time to get yourself settled.-Aadam

    This is wonderful to see how Disney is accommodating folks with mobility issues. @71 I took my granddaughters and noticed so many people in scooters promising myself if I ever went back I would rent a scooter - going at Christmas with a scooter. Thanks for posting.

      The ability to leave the park and not be in pain is soooo worth the cost of renting the scooter! Go for it!

    Casey Jr demonstrating why sometimes you just have to laugh at a situation. Another great video Aadam and Brooke! It’s amazing how different the load process is between the small worlds. Side note: loved the sound from the DJI mics - great addition!

    Aww such a great time! Glad you had fun! Disneyland is my favorite Magic Kingdom of all the MKs around the world mainly because it has all the history too. It’s the most magical one for me.
    Also, it’s just “Disneyland” since it’s the original. Or maybe “Disneyland IN California” but not “Disneyland California”.

    This is super interesting. I want to take my nephew he is in a wheelchair but has no trunk support. I could transfer him but i would have to prop him up next to me and hold him. I wonder if that would be a problem.

    • @Imaginary.Lemons
      @Imaginary.Lemons  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I suspect it would depend on the ride. Things marked “all ages” would probably be a safer bet.

    The companions can ride with the wheelchair person.?

      Usually at least one person and anyone else would be in the next car.

    Did you need the new DAS pass of you were good without it ?

    • @Imaginary.Lemons
      @Imaginary.Lemons  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Aadam does qualify for the DAS but we didn’t use it much in Disneyland because a lot of the rides use the rear entrance for wheelchairs. It was more helpful in DCA.

    • @rikki5088
      @rikki5088 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      May I ask, without using the DAS, were you able to utilize the exit/wheelchair line without getting a return time? Or did they just let you right in? I’m more specifically wondering for fantasyland rides.

    • @Imaginary.Lemons
      @Imaginary.Lemons  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rikki5088 It depends on the length of the main line. If it’s short (I think under 15 minutes) they let you right in. If it’s longer they give you a return time. So you could go to a long line, get a return time, then go to a short line, get right in at the exit, and then go return to the long line ride’s exit. We did all of Fantasyland in about 90 minutes and then went and rested.

    This is crazy cause I was there around the same time with my wife. I’m disabled as well and have a custom wheelchair. Mine is very, very heavy and I’m 6’9 350. So 500 pounds added with my wheelchair. I got on it’s a small world and it immediately crashes the platform and they had to get EMT and managers and security to get me out. It was mortifying. My wife chewed so many people out cause I was trapped for half an hour.
    If you have a big mobility device that’s heavy don’t get on it’s a small world! They have a weight limit total of 415 pounds. They don’t tell you that though! Lol

    • @Imaginary.Lemons
      @Imaginary.Lemons  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh my goodness! I’m so sorry that happened to you. That’s crazy though because surely the boats full of people carry much more weight than that combined. That’s nuts.
