I hope PD makes another Tourist Trophy. would be interesting not to mention with the updated graphics and physics as well as online play interesting. doubt they will though which is a shame.
A bit late to the party here I know. But staff from Polyphony were spotted last year (2019) taking telemetry data on the Isle of Man. Hopefully they are developing something bike related
Tourist trophy is still better than ride or ride 2 in my opinion. We won't see a better motorcycle game for console unless Polyphony decides to make a sequel.
This is a great review, its good to see someone who appreciates what Polyphony managed to achieve with Tourist Trophy, and im tired of other overly negative reviews on TH-cam from people who obviously have no passion for bikes, and have obviously never ridden one. One thing you didn't mention was the fantastic "Helmet Camera". The sensation of speed is amazing, P.D. even managed to capture the howl of the wind and that fantastic whistling sound that all us bikers know and love. (Hint- when riding a real bike, pull your visor up and tilt your head back to amplify that fantastic whisting!) Also, i noticed you managed to get gold on ALL the license tests. Quite an achievement, i've only managed silvers so far. You obviously have some skill
When I first saw this I thought it was a mod of Gran Turismo 4 because it has the exact same UI and sounds as it. I didn't think the same developers made a bike game. I actually would love to see a Gran Turismo game that has both cars and bikes.
A sequel to this game at some point would be fantastic. Doubt it would ever get priority over Gran Turismo long enough to see it materialize. Shame really. It would quite cool to see what a modern version of this would play like.
Recently bought Tourist Trophy again. Never really gave it a chance back when the PS2 was still dominating the market, but it's never too late. I enjoy what I see, so I think I shall be playing this again soon. 😁
I feel really fortunate to have RIDE on PS4 and if Polyphony do a Tourist Trophy 2 on PS4 I want there to be the same amount of customisation AND the Sierra track
I Have a Love/Hate Relationship this game at the same time. The Reason I Love it is, Because The Menu and Gameplay reminds me of my Favourite Game Ever made (Gran Turismo 4), And I am not into Bikes but this Game is starting to make me Like them abit. The Reason I Hate it aswell is because some of the Challenges to Unlock the Bikes are Almost Impossible to do and I hate the all The Liecence Tests because Most of them are Pointless. (E.G: Riding in a Straght Line and Riding with a Passenger on the Back). But Great game over all and Great Review Mate. 😉👌

I had this game at launch, then, yesterday picked one up on my local FB market CIB with manual for $7🏍️💪
I'd say it's even better than Gran Turismo. Bikes are harder to master.
My nephew bought me this for my birthday in 2006, I still have it I'm not a big gamer at all but still have fun playing this with freinds for a laugh.

Thanks bud, and for sure I always found that my main issue with TT is the same as my issue with GT PSP - lack of in depth career
