It's pretty awesome seeing the Austin Airport go through all those cool changes and adding all of those incredible Restaurants. You're totally right, they're incorporating all the good eats of local restaurants there. It's an awesome airport. Good thing you loaded up on those snacks. We definitely know what LONG travel days are like. Glad you made it safe and sound to Sweden, and let the ENDLESS ADVENTURES begin.
Look at you both getting all fancy with those new roller bags with the chargers. LOL! We're actually looking to those as well. Travel Days can definitely be tough, especially LONG travel days. Glad you kept it together and your Air bnb looks pretty cool Hope you're doing a tour at some point. Sorry bout not being able to get your booze. I know y'all love a good cold beer to settle down while you watch some Bon Appetit. Hey there still plenty of time for your during this series to stock up!
It's also about control. If you have cash then you're independent of the system. If not then they who control the system can freeze your accounts or deny access so you can't trade. Even though it's more convenient, it's really not the main reason things have moved this way. Also cash is expensive to look after, better and more profitable for the banks to just look after your credit data, which is what exactly? A power cut and you have nothing...
@@MrRamyon74very true. My comment was just an advice as I saw they were exchanging into Swedish Krona and just wanted to inform them that there no need to loose money by exchanging cash :)
Hi guys, I'm a fan from the Philippines. Just want you to know that I appreciate your vlogs and it's inspiring to see all these places through your lens. Seemed like a tough travel day, I can relate. Take care of yourselves and have fun! Because when you do, we experience the same joy that you do.
I absolutely love that you’re back on the move! & i can’t wait for you guys to go around Sweden! I’m soooo excited!! Your travel days as stressful as they are, and as long as they are are awesome! & I’ll also love that you show that you guys show that you travel 🧳! Can’t wait for this week!
Tip for anyone travelling to Sweden, a lot of places have a lunch offer on weekdays which usually means you get a meal with drink (and often coffee after) cheaper than the usual menu prices. Have to check times though because "lunch time" can vary.
Sweden can be interesting if you have planned ahead what you want to see and experience. Malmö might not be the most exciting and unique place in Sweden for an American. Many tourists seem to appreciate the archipelago outside of Stockholm. On your way there you can stop by Gränna to buy some candy canes (this small town is known for those) or checking out the castle in Vadstena. Have fun!
So glad to see you guys back to international travel! These are my favorite series because I get to see/learn something new - or see something I may have missed in a country I've been to/something I should check out in a country I'm visiting. Although you guys always do a fantastic job on your videos, the road trip across the southern US wasn't my favorite series.
I even hate short travel days, so you two are troopers in my opinion!! Can't wait for the Malmo video. We've been to Stockholm, but not Malmo and it is still on the list! My biggest stressor is transportation in a new place. It's hard to know everything ahead of time and pair that with lack of sleep... it's just awful! I remember crying on a train in Copenhagen because we had been up for 24 or so hours (when we were living in the U.S.) and it was late in Copenhagen, ticket booths were closing and then we didn't know what we needed to do with our tickets! Then, and this really made me lose it, the train didn't stop at our stop!! Some local took pity on us, got us off at the next stop and helped us on our way. They saved the day and little actions like that restore faith in people.
Welcome to Sweden! Loving your videos and can't wait to see what you get up to here. My partner and I have lived in Gothenburg for a year and are really enjoying it. Most places you go won't accept cash though, so when catching public transport it's usually easiest to download the local app to buy your ticket. There is an app for everything here (or at least that's what it feel like sometimes)! Good luck! :)
I was there last year in late September. Took the same train to Malmo. Was actually surprised that when it came to eating establishments, pretty all places said card only. I didn't get any Swedish currency given I was there for no more than 5 hours but heard that Sweden is on the road to cashless system
"My butt starts hurting." My dad had cronic back pain the whole time I was growing up. Finally one of his doctors recommended he carry his wallet in his front pocket. His back pain went away immediately.
Yeah alcohol closed Sunday closes 3 o’clock Saturday not open on holidays. Sweden is pretty cash free. The Skånetrafiken app is pretty great though for traveling
If you are in Sweden tomorrow (Saturday 24th) you are welcome you our traditional Swedish crawfish party! It would be so nice if you’d join us! It will be at our summer cottage close to Norrköping and Söderköping.
Love the videos. Still, frustrates me why you guys travel so much but dont at least have a priority pass or some kind of lounge access. It would make your travel days a little easier.
Next time you come to Sweden(if ever) you should come to Gothenburg (2,5 hour train ride from Malmö) and I'll be your personal tour guide. Love your videos! Keep up the good work
You might want to get caseskinz or similar for your nice new Away Luggage. Those baggage handlers can be brutal and they scuff easy. We have ours printed with our own photography so they standout from miles away on the belt.
Oh hurray! Great way to start the morning! It will be interesting to see how the rolling cases work for you guys. The Way Away has been having mixed reviews since they made the transition. I was hoping to hear a little review on Norwegian Air as we hope to take their priority seating to Norway next May. I’d wish you fun in Malmo but I assume this is past history so wherever you are and whatever you’re doing today, enjoy!
The liquor stores are open on Saturday, they just close early at 3. I've totally gone over the border from Norway MANY times on Saturdays with the hubby to cheap cheap wine and beers in sweden 😉😉😉
Welcome! You finally made it here, how fun! If I’d met you here I’d been so surprised, cuz why anyone would come here when Copenhagen is so close I’ll never know, but glad you’re here! And yeah, don’t bother with cash, we never use it. Most places are cash free these days.
Oh the joys of long haul flights 😩, I’m about to head from Tasmania Australia to London and that will be a lovely day with first flight at 12pm, second 6 pm, next 5 am Dubai time finally landing in London at 2.30 pm local time which is actually 9 hours behind Tasmania, so really a 35 hour travel day 😳. Looking forward to your new adventures in Europe 😊
neat flight bags incredible restaurants good eats, it's a Awesome airport in Austin. there's a Norwegian Plane at Gatwick. It was a long travel Days. They finally made it safe to Sweden I wonder what day they were in Austin Tx 5 hour Layover.
Wow 27 hours!!! Did you go the long way round!? You must have been glad to get some proper kip when you arrived! It can only get better from here on in. (*one would imagine).
Welcome to Sweden! Heh, am I the only one who think backpacks is so much easier than suitcases with wheels though? I mean, they work if you are in the airport and then take the taxi all the way to your hotel and will just let your bags stay in the room the whole time, but not otherwise. Hehe but I just prefer low budget trips more, will walk if I can and then stay at hostels. Preferences xD
Topo Chico, almost impossible to find in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Haven't found the lime infused at all but "lemons" as they say in Mexico are everywhere.
"Professional luggage", very impressive. Looks like it is actually functional, now let's see how durable it is. Hope that it is great. A little "anxious" about this destination. Hopefully it goes well.
OMG, the Away bag! Reminds me of the 6 of you from years ago (The Endless Adventure, WayAway and Kara & Nate). I’m looking forward to this series. Any chance of meeting up with everyone?
You guys spend a lot of time on planes, with different airlines. Has there ever been a scary situation while flying, like the plane hit an air pocket and dropped a few feet or a close call? I fly occasionally and it's one of my fears. I have had it happen to me on 2 occasions where the plane has dropped. Food and stuff in the cabin went flying everywhere. You guys don't ever seem to have any issues like that.
Sweden is actually talking about getting rid of cash altogether. So yeah you don't have to get Swedish crowns at all. It's like the opposite of Germany. If I have any advice for any September/October travel for my own country in France, it's to get to the Alps and see the area around Briançon, the Queyras mountains, La Grave, Col du Lautaret, stuff like that. It's a truly gorgeous area, and in autumn it looks like this : thomascapelli.fr/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/8-claree_main_crepin.jpg You can get some really cheap AirBnBs with mountain views and stuff, however you'd need a car. My advice is to get to Lyon or Grenoble and do a road trip in the Alps. Places like Annecy, Briançon, Vallée des Merveilles... Happy travels.
RB4K depends on the airlines, but a lot of places don’t transfer bags anymore. Especially going from one airline to a different airline. I travel a lot and often have to get my bag and check it again,
Tara Tasse It’s just that I’ve flown on loads of connecting flights with multiple airlines, and even 2 completely different ones allow baggage-transfer. I’ve even done it with budget airlines (AirBaltic). So this whole concept of having to pick your bag up and checkin in again is strange to me.
Please let us know what you think of Away luggage. All the travel vloggers are raving about it but it’s quite a bit of money for something that takes such a beating.
can someone please help me, everytime I load one of there videos on my TV the stream freezes within 10 seconds in, then I need to fast forward it 5 seconds or so to resume the play. it never happens on other youtube videos, so not sure what the issue is. If anyone knows please advise.
I hope you guys are coming too Danmark, i can always show you guys around, and we can make you a home coked traditional Danish dinner or something. :-)
I appreciate that you guys show the real stuff about travel and don’t try to ham it up during such long travel days.
Eric n Allison, you are so good to the subscribers. You've all out to satisfy us by making this "brutal" video trip. Thank you.
Schön euch wieder in Europa begrüßen zu dürfen. Willkommen!

Good gosh 27 hours non stop. Thats so much traveling. You guys are real troopers. Glad you got there safe hope you arent too exhausted
Look at you both getting all fancy with those new roller bags with the chargers. LOL! We're actually looking to those as well. Travel Days can definitely be tough, especially LONG travel days. How was it traveling with your new bags. Did it make a huge difference having that built in charger?
Welcome to Sweden! Absolutely no need to change any money. We barely don't use cash. At some places you can't even pay with cash :)
And England is fast following suit. If someone pays for anything more than £20 in cash, you wonder if they are being paid cash to avoid tax!

Ahhh I'm from Sweden! Thank you for visiting our beautiful country!

Now our morning is complete. A cup of coffee ☕️ and The Endless Adventure Vlog❤️
I love you guys. These things are worth watching for the music selection alone. And then you get all the positive vibes. Thank you!

Yay, so excited for you exploring Malmö! I lived there for several years and absolutely loved it!
Awesome video. Very informative and fun to watch. Can't wait for the next one. 😄
Great time to visit Sweden! You'll enjoy it! =)

Oh my gosh this was such an intense travel day!
Three flights in one day is so much!
We love your videos. You are such an inspiration to us xx
So glad to see you guys back to international travel! Love your travel day (or more than a day!) vlogs! So glad y'all are back in Europe, can't wait to see what you get up to :)

Welcome to Malmö! I live just nearby your hotel (from what I saw in the video). Enjoy your stay in this amazing city!

What a journey! You both did well!
