Elvis is calling her out for sure. Genre more Rhythm and Blues. Never say never cause tomorrow brings a lot of different things and you never know what will apply. Elvis had a song for everyone and everything. I've been married 63 years this past month. Still in love, still an Elvis fan that I became when I was 12. Really want a raw song try Stranger In My Own Hometown-x rated and (Hurt-the x rated version) which he did to sort of shock his dad.
This record has many hidden gems imo. - Only The Strong Survive - Any Day Now - Power Of My Love ( don't know if the lyrics are politically correct today, maybe my English is not good enaugh) Thank you for the great reaction!💚☀️
Elvis recorded about 15-20 Blues songs; they're all great. Love this one. Elvis was actually getting over being sick at the time of recording this song which is why there's a certain hoarseness to his voice that fits perfectly it.
Thank you, I enjoy you reacting to Elvis because you are so truthful and I can tell when you enjoy the song. You are a respectful young man. Don’t worry about the language, I’m 59 and have said the same words. 😂
Elvis was 34 when he recorded this. His middle age was 21 when he blew up on the music scene. He died at just 42.😢 I'm 51 and look 31. He was still so young.
Def bluesy. Haven’t heard this one before, but like it cuz, apparently, I like R&B. You’re spot on regarding the meaning of the lyrics. He’s got that signature cry that he’s known for. Here’s a song from waaaaay back in the day, 1956. Audio is horrible because it was recorded live at an outside afternoon concert (might have been a benefit), but you get the vibe from the crowd. Every little move he makes, the crowd goes wild. As far as his concerts and his moves, this was tame but you get the idea of crowd reaction to him. I wasn’t even born yet, but my husband said when this song, Heartbreak Hotel, hit the airwaves, it’s like all the kids in the country woke up. They were used to listening to big band music, Frank Sinatra, etc, and then they heard this, and then saw him perform, the genie was out of the bottle and there was no going back. He said the girls all loved him, and the guys were jealous af, but also started to emulate him. And I don’t mind you letting the f bomb fly cuz I do it all the time at home or in the car. 😬 th-cam.com/video/6yFZkkBGbWw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yYCsmj-ofzZS8DmG
I think Elvis was actually dealing with some laryngitis or a cold when recording some of the songs for this album. He liked the raspy effect that it gave to some of the songs and went ahead and recorded this song with it, while delaying recording for some of the others while recovering from his illness. Maybe one of your other subscribers can confirm this or knows the fuller story.
If you get a chance, please listen to "If You Don't Come Back" by Elvis Presley. The music is the star of this funky blues song. I think you would appreciate it, and it just goes to show how Elvis could sing any type of music.
Elvis has soul man! This is good bluesy music, recorded in 1969, he was 34. He could sing any genre! Please react to his gospel music too, Help Me live in 1972. Thank you. Nice reaction, but don't get so serious on the lyrics, he chose songs to sing because he liked the songs... Nothing personal to his situation . 😊👍
IF U LIKE BLUES AND JAZZ SONGS HIS SONG NEW ORLEANS FROM HIS MOVIE SCENE KING CREOLE U SHOULD REACT TO THAT U WILL LOVE THAT HE DOES SOMETHING TO HIS VOICE THAT IS SO AMAZING

Bro, the Blues is a DEEP, DEEP rabbit hole to wander down because there are so many variations of the Blues. Fast Blues, slow Blues, Delta Blues, Country Blues, Chicago Blues, New Orleans Blues.... For starters you might want to check out a cat who's often known as "The King of the Blues", Mr. B. B. King. For a different vibe, check out John Mayall & the Blues Breakers. Or The Paul Butterfield Blues Band. But whatever you do, first check out the early pioneers of the Blues. Guys like Blind Lemon Jefferson, Muddy Waters (yes that's his name), Mississippi John Hurt, Howlin' Wolf, so many more. But don't leave out the women! Female Blues artists like Big Mama Thornton, Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Ruth Brown, and more. And check out the history of where that music came from. That's important. Knowing where it came from and listening to the early pioneers of the genre will give you a deep appreciation for what the Blues is like today. If you get into the Blues, you're about to enter a whole world of music you probably didn't even know existed.
To hear Elvis sing the blues, listen to the x-rated Stranger In My Own Home Town. It is great!!!

Elvis sang far more than 20 blues songs.
Two of my favorite Elvis vocals, because they are so bluesy. This one, and Stranger in My Own Hometown. This is my Favorite Elvis Album by far!

Love this song. Elvis can sing any genre beautifully
Your doing a great job. I'd love if you would play "Sweet Caroline" , "Kentucky Rain" and the "Wonder of you". Thanks guy!

Steamroller from Aloha from Hawaii is a favorite.
That's what he said!
Great reaction! I love his voice in this bluesy song! ELVIS could sing anything! I love your reactions!❤❤❤
Did you watch King Creole? That's my favorite Elvis film, and was apparently Elvis' favorite too
Elvis was 34 when he made this track.
Elvis had a bad cold during this recording session. American Sound Studio. Chip Moman producer 1969.

One of my favorite 😍 songs 🎵
It reminds me of a Blues sort of Motown kind of feel with a little Rock sprinkled in to top it
