I saw Elvis in concert 3 times: 1970in Houston; 1972 in Vegas; 1972 in Austin Texas....he was fabulous---me and my husband went to those concerts (he grew up in a family that adored Elvis so he was eager to see Elvis performance as much as I was....all I can say is that it was electric every single time...we were both in our early twenties...75 right now...still have to hear him sing nearly everyday....

He was the real first multi- media mega star. Within a couple of years, he was already legend status. When you watch and listen to his voice, you realize how most of these artists nowadays need technology to make them sound decent.

Elvis STARRED in 31 movies! This was one of his favorites. The last time I was at Graceland was in the 70s. Years before they opened it to the public. I’m afraid it wouldn’t feel the same since none of the family are alive anymore. It is a tourist attraction, no longer a home. Back then sometimes fans got invited in.

Do you want to listen to a song that makes you feel that this is from my life, then listen to Elvis Presley (Make the world go away), I think that most people can relate to the lyrics...

Elvis used a song combo of Trouble & Guitarman for his opening number on the 68th Comback special, which is dynamite. Your ELVIS reaction is to the movie performance of Trouble, which shows that Elvis was blessed with these God-given talents because they are evident in this movie which was made when he was so young. Amazing. Elvis fan then, now & forever.

I saw him in person once, 1972, and went to Graceland (where I did feel his presence without a doubt) in 1996. Fan for live from teenager to my 80's. Love that man. Hope that this helps you with your ailments & lifts your spirits. Putting healing thoughts out there for you

King Creole is his best film. Awesome. He was given the chance to really act. My other favourite is Flaming Star

Elvis Presley performed this song "Trouble" in the 1958 motion picture "King Creole". Elvis said this was his favorite role from all the movies he did. "Hard Headed Woman" is another song from the film. You may want to watch the movie sometime.

Pretty sure this is King Creole.. his best movie.. Elvis wanted to be an actor too.. but after this movie.. all his other movies were just cookie cutter crap that his manager put him into... sad..

Elvis wanted to be a serious actor. But he was trapped in a bad contract with Hollywood. The first films he made - like this one - were brilliant. But then the films became a money making machine for Tom Parker and Hollywood. Shallow entertainment. Elvis had to sing as much songs as possible, some very silly songs. Elvis hated it.
Imho he could have been the next James Dean, but he was forced to do these horrible films. Plus, he had to stop his live performances and concerts. No interaction with the audience anymore.
