Now he met a man in the army that became his friend his name is Charlie hodge and elvis had him come work for him and they remained good friends until he passed away
He was so FINE during this time
Elvis a real man! Humble, Honest, & HOT! 😊😊
Damn Skippy
I love Elvis and his younger years I believe that's when he was at his best 50s and early 60s the health The voice the iconic status he was at his best between 56 and 63 you look great in the military around this time Elvis was definitely at his best in every way have a great day thank you
Many Germans welcomed him with lots of love when he came over by an army ship.
He was stationed in Bad Nauheim. They have lots of places to remember him. A 1:1 statue is standing on a small bridge and they made a traffic light (for pedestrians) look like Elvis with a guitar.
Thank you for doing this interview!💚☀️
Elvis was as real as your gonna get.He had such humor and his charisma was out of this world. He had a heart of gold and loved everyone regardless of skin color.
..yummy♥️. Too bad this is Very blurry video. Ive seen way clearer ones. Had to literally go right smack kn the middle of a red hot career!
yeah very unfortunate
There are videos of him arriving in Germany and you'll see the reception the German fans gave him. It was great.
that would be cool to watch
Thank you for your service ❤
thank you
Thank you for your service to our country!
thank you
Thank you for your service God Bless you
Thank you for your service. Great reaction.
Great interview and he was so cool and handsome. Love your reaction
Mate you're telling us your life story when it's a Elvis interview. Looking out at your car? Nobody was there!
I appreciate the service you give to your country.
Take care.
Elvis went above and beyond in the army. He really wanted to do his part. He didn’t want any special treatment
i respect that
At the height of his career in the 50's he was drafted.. he served.. did his duty to our country. Again.. Respect to this man
Amazing Interview! ELVIS was so cool and sexy! ❤ Thank you!
Coming home to Graceland without his mother must have been very difficult for him. She died while he was in the army.
Did you guys hear what Twan say about ELVIS. ????? HE SAID HE REALLY DIDN'T REALLY LIKE ELVIS . I LOVE ELVIS I AM LOLYE TO ELVIS. I am not going to watch him if that is how he feels... I really liked this guy till he said that. The MARINES ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST IF YOU WANT RESPECT THEN WALK LIKE IT TALK LIKE IT. NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR THAT DIRTY TALK . SORRY JUST MY REACTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Semper Fi and Ooh-Rah young man!!
Elvis was 8 time black belt
that’s impressive
Elvis was looking soooo good after the Army!
Love hearing elvis talk about his life thanks
I think every person who has served, regardless of branch of service understands what you're saying. I spent 4 years active in the Air Force and another 13 in the Reserves. I do not regret my service. It's a great way to meet people from all over and broadens your world views.
Thank you for your service…..I’m married to a marine, Vietnam Veteran….✌🏻🇺🇸
thank you
Thank you for sharing this video with us
thank you
Thank you for your service Twan and for the great reactions.
thank you
Elvis was drafted
Elvis was 25 years old, at this interview, and basically he just did what he was told to do. I understand they sent him out in the field, a lot, because if he was on base kids were climbing over fences and trying to get in anyway they could. His mother passed away while he was in basic and when he got back after her funeral he was shipped to Germany. Once in Germany any G.I. was allowed to live off base and his dad, Red West and Lamar Fike met him there and rented a house and when he was not on patrol he stayed at this house. He had crowds of fans standing at the gate and there were instructions on the gate telling when he would give autographs. That is where he met Priscilla and knew her about 3 months then came back to the states and went on with his life. He also met Charlie Hodge at Fort Hood and Joe Esposito while in Germany. Charlie Hodged was shipped with him to Germany and he and Joe Esposito remained with him until his death in August 1977. Then they found out Elvis had became a legend, which they had no idea that he was that loved. I think they spent the rest of there lives going from one meeting to another, of Elvis fans, just talking about this man. To this day Graceland is the most visited place beside the Whitehouse in the U.S. I want to thank you for your service and enjoyed hearing your outtake on Elvis army years. Very interesting.
Out in 2023??? It’s 2024 lol
lol i’m still in the past 😂 don’t spoil the future for me
Thank you for your service.
It’s really fascinating to think about Elvis‘ time in the military because he was drafted out of the blue when he was literally the biggest star in the country, and already a growing star around the world, and he did his duty without any complaints or special treatment. he wasn’t sitting on social media during those years. He was just “soldiering” as he called it. His humility is astounding considering he was quickly becoming the biggest star the world has ever seen. Thanks for posting this reaction and sharing your own perspective on military service.
Oh, I forgot.
The worst thing happened shortly after he was in Germany. His mother got sick and died in 1958. He was extremely devastated. Elvis adored her very much!
wow terrible timing
@@twanomusicreactions absolutely.
She was only 46 years old.
She actually got sick while he was in basic training and they gave him leave. He was with her before and when she passed.
Colonel Tom Parker wanted Elvis to try to get an exemption from the army but Elvis said no, he wanted to do his duty.
Watch him sing at the same time he dances like crazy. He took Karate & earned a black belt. He moved fast
He was in the army for 2 years
Oh it got clearer later…thanks for this. Youre a good listener
thank you

Thank you for your service!! His mom passed while in the service
thank you
The girl he's talking about that he met in Germany was his future wife Priscilla Presley and the mother of his daughter Lisa Marie
Twano I thank you for your service and if your are ever in Florida let me know lets go out on my 100 foot bout I just bought with 5 bedrooms anyway I think you will like it and its here for a good thinking man like you when you get out> I hope to become a friend of yours one day and my name is Elvis and I am a black man like you.
I know you are reposting old reactions and I am enjoying them, just wondering if you are still looking for recommendations for Elvis songs?
yes, because once old these reactions run out.. i’ll be watching more requests in real time
so yes pls & thank you
Twano, you are absolute a patriot🇺🇸 great reaction and a little bit of information on your life in The Marines 🇺🇸
He did just fine in school. He never ever bragged nor made fun of others
2 years and he was stationed in Germany
when he went to paris he met with the singer bill haley and while he was flying home they stopped at a scotish airport in the uk only time he visited the uk
Elvis matured while in the army. His mother died, he met his future wife with whom he had his only child, learnt and took an interest in karate, took pills, met Charlie Hodge and Joe Esposito, saw Paris, landed in UK on his return to U.S.
Thank you for your service. And where did you get the tiger painting? You should react to Elvis Tiger man 1969
You have the same profile as Elvis in the interview
Sir...Elvis was drafted during the height of his fame...he served...also his mother, he cherished, passed away...then spent his time in germany...he was discharged in 1960! When he home to Graceland...the home he bought for his mother...it was bitter sweet😢
Love it young blood
react to SWITCH UP- AY HUNCHO
AUSSIE MUSIC VIDEO. IT GOES HARD
Elvis was in the Army for 2 years he was driving a Tank, unless I remember wrong!!
There was o reason he should have been drafted at age 23 and the USA wasn’t engaged in any wars. They wanted to get rid of Elvis and rock and roll, because they thought Elvis was corrupting the youth. After he served, the adults gained more respect for him.
eLVIS HAD JUST LOST HIS mOTHER AND HE WAS SO CLOSE TO HER.
Twano...I think u made an anemy..Did u really say " you don't like Elvis?..Why would you do reaction on the guy if that is the case??Also you don't soud like you don't like being a marine..Why did you sign up?? Anyway thanks for ur service 🤔
I don’t think he did say that! Probably misinterpreted!
