I stumbled upon your channel, and I won't be leaving after what I've seen and learned about grilling. Thanks for what you do, it's appreciated and needed.
This is exactly what I was looking for! Erbody want to drown ther wings in sauce and I like mine dry. I am about to fire up the grill. Thanks again for your simple recipe and great advice, Keith.
Loved the video and really like how you brought us to your family dinner table. Felt like I was right there having dinner with you and your family. Wings looked great.
Man as always looking good boss man just wanted to say I love the vids of you cooking over the heat keep it up ill be waiting on the next one boss man yaw stay safe and blessed later
Good video! I'm in my sixties and have been grilling since my 20's. I currently have two (22" and 18") Weber grills that I have owned for at least 20 years. Some of my younger friends keep trying to get me to buy a pellet grill and they brag about how easy they are to operate. But to me, this here is the only way to grill. There is something primitive and personal about using a charcoal grill, and having to pay attention to what you are doing, as opposed to just setting the temperature and letting the machine do all the work.
Hey ❤ Bro ! This video was a great help. My wife Loves Chicken Wings and i never grill them proper lol. Your help gave me more confidence on the Grill. Thanks Again.
Hey fam I have one question I need answer for.Im bout ta use my Highlands for direct heat grilling, but do I place aluminum on bottom of the smoker barrel or just place coals directly on grates?
For direct heat grilling on your grill, I suggest placing the coals directly on the charcoal grates at the bottom of the smoker barrel. Lining the bottom of the smoker with aluminum foil/tray could interfere with airflow and how you're grill drafts. Placing the coals directly on the grates helps ensure proper heat distribution and airflow, which are crucial for achieving an even cook.
When I'm grilling direct, I typically use 2 chimney starters full of charcoal. Here's a video I have that takes you step-by-step on how to use chimney starters: th-cam.com/video/eW1M-8h9AgM/w-d-xo.html. When grilling direct, I don't use the offset firebox. I've got my intake vent on the firebox set fully open. Overall, I've been pleased with this grill.
I usually run with the side intake wide open and set the exhaust to 1/2. If necessary, I’ll make adjustments to the exhaust. Here’s a video showing my approach for managing temperature on my grill: th-cam.com/video/CFdSc4aj17s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=AtHP09uRnw-Fnu6u

@@daddydiysolutions Good look my dude! Peace.
How much coals do you use in your chimney to put in your grill. I have grill just like that but my fire box is not as thick that I got from Lowes

What were you damper settings for your intake 1/4 1/2 3/4 and the exhaust

How often did you flip the wings ?
Since we were grilling directly over the coals, wings were flipped every 3 minutes until the temperature of our grill stabilized.
Those thin pork steaks should of came off 30 minutes ago...lol All kidding aside new follower and love charred wings and good video...
Lol. Appreciate you. Thanks a bunch for stopping by the channel!
Why? Do it indirect at 360° then sear it for 30 seconds .
Direct grilling for the entire cook is going to provide a more intense charcoal flavor than going indirect first, then searing last.
