Being an old time Bucs fan, we had no shortage of big hits from Alstott and Blount. My favorite all time biggest hit came from a home game, when John Lynch KO'ed his brother-in-law (and himself). I don't remember the year, but I'll never forget the announcer's reaction... it was crazy
my first thought was, why are there no clips of Alstott? Or Derrick Henry...
@@ryanhurst3859 I hated Alstott, his knee was fucking down, and as a Washington fan watching our team be in the losing side of so many in this video hurt. But NO ALSTOTT? How could that be? Dude was a moving wall (his knee was down, we got a playoff game stolen from us damnit).

the best way to stop players leading with their helmets? get rid of the helmets. i betcha that will drop the number of neck and head injuries in no time.
Offensives players can’t by rule, these clips are from before the rule was introduced or they got away with it because of shitty refs after it was introduced. That’s the NFL for yah.

I think that whole rule is stupid in the 1st place. You want to hit with your shoulder but lord forbid your big ass helmet that's right next to your shoulder hits them especially if the offensive player moves in a way where now it's helmet to helmet contact because clearly defensive players are also mind readers and know how the offensive player is gonna move their body. Fucking stupid ass shit. So long as there is no malice in the hit, just let them go.

Mike Tolbert, 2015 Panthers vs Eagles, 3rd quarter. The way he just bounces five yards backwards after a hit then powers through to get the TD. Not a man you wanted to tackle head on for sure.

In the mid 80's Browns vs Steelers I remember Kevin Mack gets hit hard by a blitzing safety three yards behind the line of scrimmage. Mack was stopped cold for just about a half second and flung the safety to the turf and went on to gain a couple yards. The safety didn't get up until after the medical crew came out.

You should do a series where 2 plays in a row either make up for each other or within the same series. The one that stands out to me is Jonathan Abram rookie year against the broncos. Gets called for a violent hit, it was questionable but looked clean. Very next play lights someone up hard, clean, no penalty. Facemask was bent after the game

You forgot the best one of all time. 1987 Raiders at Seattle Bo Jackson met Brian Bozworth on the 5 yard line and drove him into the end zone for a touch down. That pretty much ended Bozworth's career in the NFL.
Bo met Boz like a steamroller "meets" the pavement. ;) You could use Boz's jersey to find out Bo Jackson's shoe size.
