@@STP43FAN1 The reason Joe wasn't trailing in the fourth was because he was DOMINANT. You can't blame a QB for being good and not having to come back in fourth quarters.
@@STP43FAN1not true. Tom Brady, or his offensive lineman, led the league in sack percentage, meaning he was sacked less than any quarterback his last two seasons. Over his career Tom Brady was sacked MUCH less than Joe Montana.
@@Veggamattic Cause Montana was at the end of his career and not as physically healthy as Steve Young and definitely not as mobile either… And yes Steve Young was a great Quarterback
Joe Montana is the reason I got interested in NFL. As a Brit I had had no previous exposure until the then new Channel 4 started a weekly one hour program .
I smile when GOAT is used with Tom Brady in mind. Montanna played when a QB got hit a lot and WR's had a tough time against DB's. I am a Raider fan but Montanna is the best QB I have ever seen play the game.
Uprite where are your examples? Oh and quarterback s didn’t move in the pocket then. That’s why they got hit. They didn’t fall into the fall they fought the fall. That’s why they got injured. Montana would throw over 5,000 yards today? So why isn’t it happening now? Why didn’t Marino teach 5,000 again? It was not because of the physical impossibility that the game was tougher then.
@@STP43FAN1 The rules were different back then. If the defensive player's momentum was carrying him forward when the QB threw the ball, and then he hit the QB after the ball left his hand, it would NEVER be called as "roughing the passer". As I remember it, Montana would be hit on almost every pass. My memory is probably exaggerating, but only slightly. I don't think you can say Montana (or Brady) had greater heart, that was a silly comment by @uprite88, but Brady did play in a "kinder gentler" NFL.
icbm literally everything you said is wrong. No the rules were not different. No Montana was not hit close to every pass, that was Steve Young; Brady was hit in the pocket more than Montana because he hung in the pocket more. It was nastier in Brady’s era in ACTUALITY but people want to think otherwise to cling to myth
I became a 49ers fan just as Joe was joining the team. It was quite a ride thru the 80's and 90's! He was the GOAT! I was in Colorado when KC played Denver, and I have to say that was one of the best 2nd half games ever. Joe and Elway went back and forth like fencing masters. The final drive was Joe Montana at his best. Fantastic game. I often wonder how long he could have played if all the safety rules that are in effect today were in effect during his career. It was a sad day when he retired, though he deserved it. What a player!
OMG I remember that game. I think it was a Monday night. The absolute best display of quarterback mastery I had ever seen! Thanks for reminding me about that.
Thats the game that made Joe Montana my favorite player for DECADES as a Chiefs fan. The look on Elway’s face on the sideline that last drive was glorious. As if to say “This mf really going to beat me in my own house” 😂
Not only Joe Cool but also a very thoughtful fellow. At SFO my elderly father was set to board the flight to LAX and Joe indicated to the Flight attendant he wanted my father boarded before him. I certainly thanked him for his consideration and my father was thrilled.
@@jmgonzales7701 I saw him play - early-on the arm was plenty strong enough; in the twilight of his career, after multiple injuries, it faded - but he still got it done.
In truth, the 49s made the choice based on the injuries that Montana had gone through. They knew they had a sure thing with Young, and he had the added feature of youth and great mobility. Going to Young paid off for them with three additional Super Bowls. I love Joe, but injuries took a toll.
@@arizjonesYoung actually won 1 Super Bowl as a starter not 3. As for mobility Montana was also quite elusive himself and was great at avoiding sacks and pressure even when he was older. Young was obviously a highly talented quarterback but basically what the 49ers did by keeping him over Montana was to extend their winning seasons and championship window. The reality of it was Montana very likely would’ve beaten the Cowboys in 1992 and won the Super Bowl if he had played. The 49ers had the better roster in 1992 (had more stars), and the Cowboys weren’t quite the juggernaut they were about to become in the 90s. Steve Young wasn’t ready and threw up an absolute stinker when the 49ers were favored to win by more than one score and were expected to dominate the Cowboys. If Joe had played that likely wouldn’t have happened and they would’ve gone to the Super Bowl that year with the great talent they had. Of course if the 49ers had kept Montana, I highly doubt they would’ve gotten the likes of Deion Sanders which helped them win the Super Bowl in the 1994 season (and of course we wouldn’t of experienced the Hall of fame greatness of Steve Young until his career was nearly over). In the end I think 1 Super Bowl was traded for another. If they had kept and started Montana I think they likely would’ve won a Super Bowl in 1992 but I also think the 49ers wouldn’t have gotten the talent necessary to defeat the Cowboys in 1994 with an aged Montana and therefore may not have won a Super Bowl that year like they did with Young. That’s kind of how I see it.
Joe was the best quarterback of his time. Football was different when he played. The defenses mostly dominated the game. The NY Giants had a great and brutal front line and linebackers. It was a war playing against them. Dallas was much the same. Joe got hurt many times standing in the pocket and waiting for those long routes to open up. He was insanely courageous and the epitome of coolness under pressure.

Me and my baby daughter used to watch Joe Montana throw Jerry Rice touchdown passes. The two won Super Bowls😊 Joe Montana took some hard hits. The quarterbacks can't be touched now 😊. I used to wonder how he got up ! The players make money 💰 now and they're not worth what they get 😊
Joe Montana played in an era when quarterbacks were still football players and could still be hit. he didnt play in today's era where glancing at a quarterback gets a penalty on the defense. he also didn't play in an era when almost all of the rules were geared to passing the ball and making it tougher on defenses. despite playing football, instead of standing behind the line basically being untouchable, Joe Montana never cried about being hit. you know, like a certain crybrady. and most importantly and cannot stress this enough, Montana never had to cheat.
I remember when the defensive guy could take two steps after the ball was gone ( the rule was one , but they got a step and a half at least for a few seasons ) , blast the QB helmet first , wrap his arms around him and drive them into the ground with his full weight and momentum ( this was after they made it illegal to go after their knees ) ... Now QB's get brushed , take a fake ass tumble and jump up crying to the ref for a flag
You do know Tom Brady's 1st NFL season was in 2000, right? Tom Brady played before the rule changes for qb's & was still successful. I get it, people do the same with Lebron, these guys played so long that people forget that they were successful before the rule changes, but, yes, Tom Brady earned his success.
My G.O.A.T🏆🏆🏆🏆4-0, 11 TD's 0 int. Perfect in the biggest stage, &, in the toughest era of football. Only one could pulled that off, & that was, "Joe Cool"

Chrisoakley modern quarterbacks read the field faster and handle the pocket better. There was not more hitting then (more hitting then was a physical impossibility)
I watched Joe play many times back in the '80's and the one thing I noticed was his awareness of where every man on the field was, finding the open man and getting the ball to him. He had great command of the field.
Special talent he had. He got to the point where, in essence, he's throwing to the receiver that had the best chance to SCORE not just complete the pass.
@@atiboyful The problem with LT is it didn't matter if you knew where he was. Fortunately for Joe, he didn't face the Giants hardly at all. I think Reggie White was after Joe's time. Thomas might have been, I'd have to look it up, but there was no one that gave Joe problems that I can remember
People forget that back then Defensive linemen and linebackers were allowed to try kill the QB, try playing as QB at 40 back then you'd be in hospital perminately and these guys played beaten up half thier careers
Brady wilted under less pressure every time he saw it. Which wasn't often. He had all day tyo throw and seldom got touched in his "amazing comerbacks." I give the guy his due - but courage and physical toughness weren't his long suits.
Chuck cite examples. And cite where Brady just stood in the pocket instead of shift around. Cite where Brady wilted. Simple fact is he didn’t. He got sacked more every season than Montana. Dude! Tom Brady did it consistently and surpassed Montana in not just accomplishments but overcoming challenges. You're blind if after all of his Patriots rings, you still don't see it after he went to the Buccaneers and in just his first year with them!! led them to the super bowl without the help of Bilicheck. when we talk about the GOATs, one of the key attributes is always comebacks. That shows not how good the team was but how good the QB was. I hope one day we can have a comparison between Montana, TB and Mahomes in this aspect.
Joe Montana was the Tom Brady before Tom Brady. As Tom Brady said, he was a 49ers fan and as a youngster he witnessed "The Catch" which jumpstarted the 4 career Superbowls Joe Montana would eventually win. In addition Joe Montana's leadership lead to teammate Steve Young winning a Superbowl and becoming a HOF inductee. Joe Montana is a proven champion and mentor.

Great video. Thanks BLITZ. As a Dodgers fan, I absolutely LOVE hearing Vin Scully's call of The Catch. I'm glad you left that audio clip in there. Love me some Joe Montana. The "Golden Great."
This gets wrong the locker room dynamic with the quarterbacks. They didn’t oppose Young; they’d won with Young. The locker room got angry that players were quitting on the season; that’s why Ronnie Lott called the “screw the coaches” meeting with players to get them to focus on winning again. It wasn’t because they wanted Montana and opposed Young
I'm not a big football watcher but always enjoyed seeing Joe and Jerry connect.. along with Joe scrambling behind the line and then running down the field.
Montana is the greatest QB of all time. Easily! Just because he didn’t have the luck the QBs of the new millennium have with the NFL not allowing anyone to harm them doesn’t mean he’s not the greatest. None of the new millennium QBs would have lasted half as long as him had they played in the man era and was fucked up like he was. Had he played now, he would have 9 superbowls. Not to mention no one's clutch ability comes even close to his. Oh yeah.. and he was literally perfect in the superbowl. If he got there, he was winning it. Period
@@WinnersMind67 You might be right lmao. With him and that team not having to worry about him being literally half torn up damn near every season?? Yeah maybe
Great video. Only small thing I'd say is that part about the team "growing tired of Walsh's mind games", while that may have been taxing on the team and the coaching staff for sure, the reason the switch was made to Seifert was more about the pressure of coaching and winning that was getting to Walsh. He was a genius, and as such, he sought perfection from his team and himself every season and over time that pursuit became very mentally draining on Walsh

He revolutionized the game just as other great quarterbacks did before him, and he also paved the way for today's quarterback play. Simply the best.
It is weird living in an era where Joe is no longer given his due. I remember watching him growing up and thinking he would never lose. And when it came to Superbowls...he never did.
It infuriates when i here people say he had a below average arm. He didn’t have a cannon but he could definitely “make every throw” and his deep ball was a pretty as anyones
I grew up in the San Fransisco Bay Area. It seemed like I went with my parents to Super Bowl parties every year. I barely remember the times in the 80's when the Niners lost in the playoffs, but I definitely remember those Super Bowl parties.
Joe may not have been the very best ever to have played, but he was great, and NOBODY was more clutch. My dad told me a story about a time when he attended a Notre Dame game and Notre Dame was behind and it was 4th quarter. Notre Dame sent a different quarterback onto the field, and they guy who was watching the game with my dad, who was NOT rooting for Notre Dame, remarked to my dad, heh, who is that guy? My dad replied, "That's Joe Montana, and you're in trouble." Joe went on to win the game.
I will never forget Joe’s Monday night halftime return at Candlestick after his long recovery. The crowd went nuts! His first play was a completion to Jerry Rice I think. His finish of the drive was a TD pass to Rice. The fans stood and cheered the whole drive. It brought tears to my eyes watching the GOAT in that return.
Joe was 4-0 for the Super Bowl. Most pass attempts in a Super Bowl without throwing an interception at 122. Threw for 11 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. I had a friend in the 90s who was from the Los Angeles area and was a Rams fan. But he had to admit that even though he hated the 49ers, Montana was his favorite player. It's so hard to compare Unitas to Montana to Brady to Mahomes. Who is the GOAT? Football in the 80s/90s was so much more physical than today, and wondering Joe could have played longer with less beat up and added at least 1 of not 2 more SB. But the thing you can't argue is that he has 4-0 record in SB, with progressively greater performances. Fun debate. To say nothing of how they compare to other greats like Manning, Elway, Fouts and Marino, guys who were often let down by bad defenses or awful head coaches.
Haters tend to say fans of old legends like Joe are delusional for considering him as one of, if not the best, the greatest QBs. The fact is as you said. 80s - 90s football was different in the sense that QBs weren't as well protected compared to modern times. Considering that Joe played many more games WITH injuries because of how football was back then, and he made it that far, he's a legend.

Brady lost to Eli Manning twice and a back up QB in Nick Foles.. Brady overall is statistically superior in every way now but in no way was he better in the SB than Joe Montana, Brady is not the goat either.. His chance was in 07 when Patriots were 18-0, not only would that have tied Montana with 4 rings, Brady would've had an undefeated season too.. Everything after that was just running numbers up, impressive nonetheless since we see where it went, 7 rings etc etc etc.. Do you realize how close Brady was to losing 5 SBs??.. If Seattle runs the ball, that would have been 3 consecutive Ls in the superbowl.. Then had Atlanta not had the most embarrassing collapse of all time marks the 5th L.. Brady was more so lucky than good sometimes, still incredible but real Patriots fans like myself speak of those 6 rings Brady helped NE win with humility.. We know well how very different it could be right now.. Lastly, if Seattle wins that game, the dynasty is over and Brady never sees Tampa Bay.. instead of 7-3, Brady resumé says 4-5.. Moral of the story, not only was Joe a better QB, 49ers beat better teams and Joe was unbeaten.. As far as SBs go I want Joe Montana 100%.. And Joe was never second fiddle to anyone in SBs like Brady was for the first 3 rings too.. Montana owned it completely and perfect 4 times..
Mr. Montana's windup took a while (not the slowest, but not a "quick release" throw, by any means). But when he finally released it, it was on target and sailin'. Hard throws at the proper time, with soft touch passes at appropriate times. He always seemed to be able to pull something out of a special bag of tricks when needed. I can see him, along with a few others, as being the kind that draw their own plays in the dirt in the huddle during a game, especially in crucial situations.
The 49er's in the Montana era led the league year in, year out in highest salary. They were the NY Yankees of the NFL with the highest payroll, trying to bankroll success and it worked. Joe was great, but so was everyone else on the team and I think that explains individual greatness to a large degree. Case in point, the "catch".... Was Montana great because he later admitted he was throwing it away, or was Clark great because he went up and snared it out if the air and came down in bounds? Montana had the greatest offensive coordinator of the era designing and call his plays, the best WR's to throw to, best RBs to hand off to, and a defense that always kept him in the game and got the ball back. Joe was great, no doubt....but so was the whole team.
It’s still Montana for me. For those who say Brady, I look at what happened during Deflategate and ask myself if Joe was a quarterback during Deflategate, would he have turned over his phone when it was requested or would he have destroyed it as Brady did. I believe Montana would have turned it in. I can’t think of any reason not to turn it over unless there was something to hide.

Look up GOAT in the dictionary and you’ll see Joe Montana. I’m not saying Tom Brady is not a great Quarterback, and I’m not saying he is not a first round HOF, but he couldn’t hold Montana’s jock strap. Brady never played against Lawrence Taylor, Mike Singletary, Reggie White etc. Brady was protected by the zebras and no defensive player could be 6 feet from Brady without the zebras pulling at the yellow flag.
The 1984 or 1989 49er teams playing in the Real era of NFL defenses would beat any of the Patroit teams by at least 2 touch downs. Joe Montana is the best NFL QB of all time. Love to see Tom Brady play against the 80s Bears, Giants or Redskin defenses playing with the 1980s rules.

Joe Cool should ALWAYS be respected. It's horrendously disappointing that people just immediately forgot about him when Brady won his 5th ring. That is f'd up.
Smart people don't put that much stock in rings because those are a _team_ accomplishment in a 53-man sport. It takes time and effort to properly evaluate the legacy of an individual. Unfortunately, lazy and uneducated people tend to run their mouths the most when it comes to debates in sports.

Definitely the greatest, imo, and I knew he’d be great in the pros after I saw him lead his Notre Dame team in a thrilling comeback against USC in 1978 in the L.A. Coliseum. It looked like Montana was going to pull off another miracle in the last minute or so of the game when ND pulled ahead of USC, but … USC managed to drive the ball back downfield on the ensuing kickoff in 3 or 4 plays to get close enough to kick a 30-something yard field goal to win it with 2 seconds left on the clock (27-25). I left the Coliseum feeling very relieved, but also very impressed with Joe Montana. On that day I saw an incredible competitor with an undaunted will to win.

Fact is, Joe Montana is the singular reason why a guy like me from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is a lifelong 9'ers fan for over 4 decades and counting. And in spite of what Google search has to say, there was a year back in the early 80's where San Fran and Winnipeg were "sister cities." I recall it clearly being announced on local radio. At any rate i'm a lifelong '9ers fan. Win or lose, they're my NFL team.
I will say this, not a 9ers fan, love watching Joe Montana. My favorites qb to watch. It's like saying I'm not a Michael Jordan fan but love to watch him play. In saying that, I'm a Raiders and Celtics fans. The way Joe carved defense was insane, then again, he was put in the perfect offensive system also the west coast (Bill Walsh) offense. People may claim that TB12 is the greatest, but NO WAY. Joe Montana was. Outside of that he did win a college Championship.
I'm from near his hometown and played ring gold in football in highschool and have met people who have coached his back then. All say the same thing, he was an incredible athlete and person

I remember that game. It was a lousy game for 3 quarters. 4th quarter last 3 drives were great by both QBs. An old Montana outplayed a younger Elway!
Thats the game that made Joe Montana my favorite player for DECADES as a Chiefs fan. The look on Elway’s face on the sideline that last drive was glorious. As if to say “This mf really going to beat me in my own house” 😂

Joe Cool was deadly. He was the ideal QB for Bill Walsh's west coast offense. It would be a big mistake to underestimate Joe Montana.
the only thing missing was a strong arm but he made up for it with anticipation and precision. he knew the right amount of the strength for a big play

And his line averaged 250.
Mindless fanboy nonsense. Brady was sacked around 250 times more than Joe over his career by bigger stronger faster guys.
Montana is the greatest SB quarterback of all time.
I watched him play and im here to tell you that you were on the edge of your seat. Down by 3, 2mins left.....Montana deep to Rice TOUCHDOWN 49ERS!!!!!!!!!! MAN WHAT AN ERA
The GOAT is LT.
@@ConstellasianAnd let’s not forget great quarterbacks like Marino or Elway. They often get lost in the discussion because they didn’t play with teams of destiny (although Elway did later on). While I think the 49ers don’t win any of their Super Bowls in the 80s without Joe he still had some amazing teams behind him (as a niners fan I’m just being realistic and I want to give a shout-out to other old greats who often get overlooked).
@@edsalisch4322LT is definitely in the conversation. Probably the best overall defensive player of all time and that’s hard for me to say because I love Ronnie Lott. People often bring up Jerry Rice as still being the greatest because he still holds records to this day that can’t be broken in a modern era that is heavily biased towards the pass where Rice had none of those huge advantages receivers have today. He was the LT of the offense.
mahones wouldn't have made it out of college, let alone to the NFL.
He just would have been an article in a high-school newspaper of a kid who had potential.
😂 did marino dirty with that comment "if ya know anything about dan Marino you know exactly how this duel went" 🍻🤝
As much as I love Tom Brady, I still have Joe Cool as my #1 best QB! He was scary throughout the 80-90's and undefeated in his Super Bowls.
Joe was my goat to til Brady showed me after changing teams
I’ll take 7-3 over 4-0 any day lmaoo with 5 sb mvps
Brady is the GOAT, bro the man made it to the big Game 10 times, 10 times man!!!, and people try to knock Brady for losing a few, look man if you make it to the Super Bowl that many times, there’s no way possible that you’re winning all 10 of those games, it’s football luck happens but Brady is the GOAT, I’ll take 7 rings, 5 SB MVPS & 3 League MVPs anyday of the week, Montana was a beast to though, especially during that era
@@troym.reaves5935I can bet you didn't actually watch all 10 SBs.. Not only was Montana quite literally flawless in 4 SBs; 11TDs 0INTs and a PR of 120+, Montana was beating legends in Marino and Elway..
@@lakernation26not when 7 and 3 took 20 years and 4-0 took 10 years. If Tom and joe retired at the same age they would both have 4 super bowls.
Love these memories I miss my daddy so bad.
Watched him his entire career…he was great and more importantly a leader and winner.
Wish Jim Kelly had a 4-0 record in the superbowl
i just wish he got 1
Well not happening 😮
Many dyslexic people probably do😂
The guy is an absolute winner
Montana is the GOAT!
I love your vids
I am a 30 year New England Patriots and Tom Brady fan. The greatest Quarterback to ever play the game is without question Joe Montana.
Sir today's game is about speed and finesse. Back in Joe Montanas day it was still about vicious hitting and violence.
I was born in 1980. I was able to watch a lot of football from a young age, 1984 onward. I became a Giants' fan, but man oh man those battles with the 9ers were epic. I've always had mad respect for Joe Montana. I consider him the GOAT.
If Brady plays in the 80's he retires at age 34 with back injuries
Oh no he doesn’t. He falls into the fall thus doesn’t get hurt, reads the field better, learns better, executes better, wins more. Just like today.
@@STP43FAN1delusional
jesterhead I’m talking facts to you.
@@STP43FAN1 no qb playing today would last they’d all be broken
The 1984 or 1989 49er teams playing in the Real era of NFL defenses would beat any of the Patroit teams by at least 2 touch downs. Joe Montana is the best NFL QB of all time. Love to see Tom Brady play against the 80s Bears, Giants or Redskin defenses playing with the 1980s rules.
The real goat no Tuck rules 2 point conversion sudden death over . Now keep the game going until poster boys win . Take away the tuck maybe Brady don’t have the confidence to win 7 take away all the flags QBs get the two point conversion Brady used to win many play off games and 58 would have been over in Jo.”s day so yes he is the goat
Let's not forget sign stealing and deflate gate.
I hate the 9ers but Joe was a BAAAD man!! The guy was clutch in the biggest moments. "Joe Cool".
I know Tom Brady has Seven Championships but I was born in the 80s and "Joe Cool" Joe Montana is my G.O.A.T. Quarterback, he was just smooth and clutch when it counted! 🏆🏆🏆🏆
4-0 is more impressive to me. My G.O.A.T🏉🏆
Just means he lost earlier in the playoffs way more… 🤷♂️
@@michaeldavison123 he played in a time when qbs and offense were not untouchable, now the defense is very hamstrung alot of times, different eras makes it harder to judge, same with the nba
Two of those seven championships were gifted to him, if the Patriots were playing any other team but the Atlanta 'chokers' they would have lost that game, and Pete Carroll of the Seahawks NOT handing off the ball to Lynch and stupidly trying to throw it instead, gifted another championship to Brady. Montana didn't have any of his Super Bowl titles gifted to him, Montana is the REAL g.o.a.t....🐐
@@richardmahfouz4392 They cheated, too.
Joe Montana Hands down The Greatest Quarterback Ever Ever On The Planet. This And Or Any Lifetime
The real Goat 4-0 no INTs
Montana. The actual GOAT. And I got to watch every minute of it. A much more difficult and brutal game in those days.
Joe Cool should ALWAYS be respected. It's horrendously disappointing that people just immediately forgot about him when Brady won his 5th ring. That is f'd up.
imagine how many he would of won if he played now when qbs and offense is so protected.
@@lonewolf_vrHe had his advantages big one being no Salary Cap the 49ers always highest paid roster no turnover
Doesn't matter, Joe is still the greatest QB ever.
Smart people don't put that much stock in rings because those are a _team_ accomplishment in a 53-man sport. It takes time and effort to properly evaluate the legacy of an individual. Unfortunately, lazy and uneducated people tend to run their mouths the most when it comes to debates in sports.
Lone wolf, quarterback injuries are higher than in Montana’s era and offense is penalized more than defense and more than in Montana’s era. This myth of protecting quarterbacks needs to go away
Actually... he was even better than people say. And that is coming from a Rams fan.
I flew to LA from London in 88 for the Monday night game where we were finally gonna puncture that 49er bubble. When we faked the field goal and he threw to Taylor for 96 yards... I cried. 40-odd years later I'm still thinking about it - that's how good he was. 👑
4 superbowls in 9/10 years better that Brady babies! No spygate, deflategate etc etc etc. Much tougher league back then 2
Joe Montana was a leader on the field and off the field. His era was when I enjoyed watching American football the most.
Absolutely.
montana was andstill the best 4 and 0 in super bowls no ints 11 touchdowns now thats quarterback brady is 7 and 3 even patrick is 3 and 1 give me joe againsit those 2
Brady and Mahomes win against much tougher opponents than anything Montana faced. Quality opponents more limited in Montana’s time. His Superbowl opponents were gutless; Brady and Mahomes faced infinitely bette opponents
Most people, fans, etc, don't know Joe's pre-NFL history and early greatness. Thanks for sharing.
Montana is the greatest QB of all time period. He did what he did in an era where defenses weren't crippled and not allowed to really play defense.
Ok, Mel Kiper.
Exactly right.
Pretty much any qb today would crap their pants if LT was bearing down on them 😂
Scariest guys in NFL history...LT, Singletary, Butkus, Conrad Dobler, James Harrison.
OJ was scarier after he retired 😂
I will say this, not a 9ers fan, love watching Joe Montana. My favorites qb to watch. It's like saying I'm not a Michael Jordan fan but love to watch him play. In saying that, I'm a Raiders and Celtics fans. The way Joe carved defense was insane, then again, he was put in the perfect offensive system also the west coast (Bill Walsh) offense. People may claim that TB12 is the greatest, but NO WAY. Joe Montana was. Outside of that he did win a college Championship.
Can you guys do a Michal Vick video?? 🤷♂️
