Now that's a truck! I just scored a WPL rc truck. Its just a 1/16 scale but they're a great price point for entry level rc fans. Tons of customizations and parts. Never heard of em but bought one for my son and it's pretty cool for an rtr for under $80 bucks! Love the RC content man! I just looked up this atlas and these are at a great price too! Might have to get me one of these
Yeah I'm getting really into micro crawlers now, have a couple udrs/e revo/Maxx and an xmaxx for bashing, but mini crawlers are fun indoors too.... Also looking at the carisma 1/24 buggy now too
Just got mine today and was not impressed with the torque. The motor runs so damn hot and just bogs pretty badly with stock electronics. Like you said, nothing, then it's wide open throttle! I'm hoping this 1060 will eleviate that issue.
@@ThatWhiteGuy got my 1060 and bearings installed. I went with a Flysky GT3B receiver I already had though. I was very happy with the results. Still gets warm but not meltdown hot like it used to. The low-end torque is fantastic now. Before it would just come to a dead stop. Now it just keeps spinning the tires (I'm a little worried about gear life). I was a little disappointed in the noise. I didn't realize how much came from the transmission gears. My Panda Hobby Tetra18 X2 is so much quieter. The motor mount is warped so that's got to be contributing to the noise. Thanks for the tip!
I soldered what was on the car right to the new esc, looks jank as hell with the wire change but everything works fine. Other than the car generally being built like crap and all of the axles stripping.
You'd probably want to refer to the manual for whatever ESC you use to figure that out. Since I'm guessing there's a chance for a fire if it's done wrong I don't think I want to give advice, the way I did it was definitely janky and soldering some very different gauge wires together.

Thanks and yes definitely want to see more!
Wow that’s really cool, I just picked up an Atlas and I plan on doing the same to mine. 👍👍
Apparently beware, I shredded two of my axles gears on this now that it's got more torque lol
@@ThatWhiteGuy cool thanks for letting me know !!
@@jesussahagun5982 no problem, was probably me being too aggressive but the extra torque from the ESC is well worth it

It did for me. Mine ran just as hot, same as yours lol

@@lthutchins9473 yeah mine popped a tooth off one of the axles... You definitely need to be careful and not power out of anything if it binds at all
Did you cut the wires off of the stock ESC and just solder them on? Have you experienced any issues with the smaller wires overheating?

Hi, is that receiver also compatible with fms max smasher v2 or fcx24 K5?
What wires did you connect together to make this work. I can’t tell from the video. Thank you for your help!

$20 is the best upgrade for 1/24 up to 1/10 models.
So the turbo racing rx binds to the stock tx?
Yep!
