I saw them in San Francisco during rock or bust tour and he sounded way worse. I found out the next day the whole band had a really bad flu. Saw him in LA 2 days after that and he sounded back to normal. I honestly don't know how more singers aren't bothered by the dust there. You develop a cough after one day there. They actually call it the Coachella cough. If they do play more shows, I guarantee Brian will sound much better. Either way, it was an honor to see them again and if they tour, I'll be there!

I have no idea why since this is one of the harder ac/dc songs to sing, it was an interesting choice for sure but I thought it was very impressive personally

AC/DC was playing since 2009 half setp down but now it seems that they are back on original key which is harder to Brian. They should keep half step down or even a whole step. But everybody there should be honoured to have the chance to see them live again.
And another thing😂, the mix from the sound engineers was incredible. The drum mix unreal at that volume and presence. My solid organs rattled when he hit the base drum. Note the Tom hits at 3:56. People were peeing blood after that show!! Maximum Rock and Roll!!

Good for you being able to remember old concerts, younger fans born mid to late 90s like myself didn't have that opportunity, I flew all the way from England to watch them and they absolutely rocked, Brian is 76 and his voice is still sensational, it's time to retire when they say it's time to retire, true fans hope they rock on for as long as possible, long live AC/DC! Also first time they played in 7 years live, Coachella was the same and from then on the Rock or Bust tour was spot on!

Twenty years ago if they had sounded like this they would have been booed off of the stage. They have the love and support of millions of people, including me. I have seen them at least 10 times and they were always great. That being said, and with all due respect, there's no way they can take this show on tour. Angus has got to know that and I really really feel for him. And besides, when you're almost 80 years old, being on the highway to hell probably starts looking less attractive.

They really oughta consider transposing the songs down another half step, cause Brian Johnson is struggling to hit those high notes. He sounds great, but the songs should be transposed down so he doesn’t shoot out his vocal cords. He already is deaf in one ear, so the last thing he needs is vocal cord damage.
I don't know why some bands don't know when the time has come to retire and go out with a bang and not continue till it degrades like this. This is a sad. The Stones are an exception and few can be like them.

For a fan that never saw them live, its a big oportunity to enjoy the AC/DC music live. Almost 50 years later, you don't expect to see an such incredible performance, you just only want to see giants of rock. Relax and aprecciate them live, while we can.

Listen to Thunderstruck at River Plate. Here at Power Trip, Brian has vocal problems because the band tuned the song Thunderstruck up half a tone, which I don't think is good. They should have tuned it down half a tone or a whole tone, but why higher, nonsense

Looked to me like Brian was struggling for breath at times during the foo fighters concert. Should have quit the cigarettes years ago which have no doubt been a big factor in the deterioration of his voice.
Agreed, people think he isn't hitting notes, but he is you just can't hear him when he has to duck or go low because his mix gets buried. He isn't Rob Halford doing Painkiller, he shouldn't have to push himself to sing a full set like he did in the 80s.

Yea brians voice is gone...but in all honesty it's the riff that I find the saddest. Weak and loads of missed notes. Was once one of the most impressive live moments in Rock.
That makes for a painful watch. Brian's voice is done and even Angus is struggling with the main riff from the off. Having been lucky enough to have seen them three times myself ('95,' '99 and '08) perhaps its easy for me to say it, as I know many people will always want to see them if they've not yet done so, but they'd have been best calling it a day when Mal passed away.
Angus was rusty but the second version of this (ie this one) from same festival was better than the first. Angus soling is still hot and he’s added a bit more to his style you can hear in some of his note selection.

I've been a big AC/DC fan since 1980, but it would be hypocrisy to claim that anything about this performance was remotely good. Heard many songs from this strange festival. Believe me, everything AC/DC has ever been about is no longer there. No more soul, no more power, no more interplay, no more energy, and we don't even need to talk about Brain's voice. And I know it's not his fault. To all those who think they've seen a cool AC / DC concert here, they would have had an orgasm in front of the stage in the 80s and 90s. It's also recorded on a phone and played on TH-cam. Both are notorious for bad sound.

I've been a big AC/DC fan since 1980, but it would be hypocrisy to claim that anything about this performance was remotely good. Heard many songs from this strange festival.
Believe me, everything AC/DC has ever been about is no longer there.
No more soul, no more power, no more interplay, no more energy, and we don't even need to talk about Brain's voice. And I know it's not his fault.
To all those who think they've seen a cool AC / DC concert here, they would have had an orgasm in front of the stage in the 80s and 90s.
