    It was such an honor to be there. For those complaining about Brian, he seemed to be sick or possibly the dust in Coachella valley was bothering him. He was wiping his nose all night. I saw them in San Francisco during rock or bust tour and he sounded way worse. I found out the next day the whole band had a really bad flu. Saw him in LA 2 days after that and he sounded back to normal. I honestly don't know how more singers aren't bothered by the dust there. You develop a cough after one day there. They actually call it the Coachella cough. If they do play more shows, I guarantee Brian will sound much better. Either way, it was an honor to see them again and if they tour, I'll be there!

      It also comes through as shit on TH-cam because first off, it was recorded on a phone mic, and then also TH-cam normalizes audio volume and compresses it.

    • @jackattack967
      @jackattack967 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Agreed! I thought it sounded higher than they’ve been playing it so I had to go listen to the original and they really are playing this one in standard tuning here. I have no idea why since this is one of the harder ac/dc songs to sing, it was an interesting choice for sure but I thought it was very impressive personally

    • @andysparks8565

      @@jackattack967 if you made me guess, I would say Angus maybe thought a few of the tunes just sounded much better in standard and wanted to attempt it. They really oughta consider transposing the songs down another half step, cause Brian Johnson is struggling to hit those high notes. He sounds great, but the songs should be transposed down so he doesn’t shoot out his vocal cords. He already is deaf in one ear, so the last thing he needs is vocal cord damage.

      Agreed, people think he isn't hitting notes, but he is you just can't hear him when he has to duck or go low because his mix gets buried. He isn't Rob Halford doing Painkiller, he shouldn't have to push himself to sing a full set like he did in the 80s.

    That makes for a painful watch. Brian's voice is done and even Angus is struggling with the main riff from the off.
    Having been lucky enough to have seen them three times myself ('95,' '99 and '08) perhaps its easy for me to say it, as I know many people will always want to see them if they've not yet done so, but they'd have been best calling it a day when Mal passed away.

    Tell me guys, do you have tomatoes on your ears??? Despite the poor smartphone recording, you can clearly hear that this is a disaster.
    I've been a big AC/DC fan since 1980, but it would be hypocrisy to claim that anything about this performance was remotely good. Heard many songs from this strange festival.
    Believe me, everything AC/DC has ever been about is no longer there.
    No more soul, no more power, no more interplay, no more energy, and we don't even need to talk about Brain's voice. And I know it's not his fault.
    To all those who think they've seen a cool AC / DC concert here, they would have had an orgasm in front of the stage in the 80s and 90s.
    And if they had seen the band with Bon Scott, they would probably have dropped dead with excitement
