Correction! The best Rock n Roll band of all time! Almost 50 year's of touring and recording Album's. There are other rock bands of course that are great too, but ACDC is Rock n Roll. Also Airbourne is another good band to bang your head and pump your fist too! Also from Australia. I also enjoy - Led Zeppelin - Metallica - Ozzy Osbourne - Black Sabbath - Aerosmith - Queen - Def Leppard - The Scorpion's - Shinedown - Volbeat - Fleetwood Mac also Stevie Nicks - Guns' n Rose's - Alter Bridge - Bon Jovi - Pantera - Van Halen - Whitesnake And Many Many More 😉
The Beatle's and Bruce Springsteen are wonderful but there not Rock n Roll like ACDC. I love the Bon Scott era and love Brian Johnson as well! If you want to head bang and fist pump well it's ACDC! Yeah Baby!!
Actually it was smaller than donington crowds were a few years earlier. In the 80's they got into the hundreds of thousands. Then two people died in a crush in 1988 when guns n roses were playing, and so they put a limit on how many could get in. I think the count on this day was somewhere between 60,000 and 70,000. Felt like more when I was being crushed down at the front, mind you.
In fairness it's because this was their first big oudoor show in the uk for 7 years, and they had metallica and motley crue in support. I get the impression the UK is actually one of their weaker main markets when compared to say Germany or Australia. I think the they played to a far bigger crowd in Russia on this tour too (atleast 500k)
I was 11 when I saw this DVD for the first time. About 15 seconds in I thought "I'm buying a guitar". Since then I've been playing for 14 years... And I got to see AC/DC playing this song in 2009

Truuullyyyy Angus is the baddest badass in the history of rock!!
Drugs
Holy shit, the sound from this concert. Is without a doubt some of the best I've ever heard.
Goosebump. Every single time.
This gives me chills. Breathtaking moments before the digital age!!
Raw energy . Saw them live many years ago, Angus moved and ran around non stop and live he did more long solos in every song than i've ever seen in my life !
LoL it was wonderful !
I'm watching this in 2020 and stills rocks 🤘
Marcos Pinto
So you’re the guy with the time machine. 😂
Them factz tho
Bonjour
Me too. I'm 59 ... miss the 80s and 90s
this is one of the greatests which rocks forever
It never ceases to amaze me that this is live and yet the quality is SO slick it might as well have been done in the studio. What a load of absolute legends.
Chris Slade Absolutely Kicks Aaass!
Chris IS The Definition of Kick Ass Drums! He performed at the County Fairgrounds near me about 5 years ago
He is tho
Electrifying
I've just watched this drunk asf not seen it for a good 15 years and back then when Angus is going on his solos and Chris is trying to keep up with him I'm thinking what the eck are you're arms made of. Chris is one hell of a drummer that's for sure. And still smiling f@$king legend
I didn't know he was Tom Jones drummer in the 1960s and was on green green grass of home , manfred manns earthband Uriah heep etc , He should write a book .
Seeing this at 15 years old is what made me want to rock, 15 years later nothing had changed. This footage changed my life
The very part when Brian shouts his first "THUN-DER!" and Mal comes in with his "Here we go, guys!" riff. Admit it, we all wait for that very second every time we listen to any performance of "Thunderstruck."
Greatest band in history.
100%
Long live the Young brothers & Bon. Hail AC/DC !
AC/DC are the ultimate people's band. Nobody delivers the good times like they do. No pretention, no holding back, just straight up, 100 proof, electrifying, rock 'n' roll. Forget your troubles and enjoy the ride!!!
Wow!!! Goosebumps
Anyone nov 2024 here?
Yup still here 😅
Есть...🎉
Still rockin' at 61!
Obviously. 🤟⚡️
Ещё как. 🍻
I'm 17 years old and from gen z and I love classic rock and this is one of my most favorite live performances of AC/DC.
I like pure rock
Sing and Dance in the Maelstrom!
This is the good shit guys rock legends
No one cares bro.
So appreciate a younger person that knows good music. Am a older woman. But I will rock my house with these guys
This is better than the Studio version. That's the proper AC/DC way
You can tell by the way the crowd goes
It`s not live,it`s "Made in Studio",they clean all playing mistakes and vocals.Sorry.
One of the few rock bands that are ALWAYS better live. 👍
Yeah a lot Better Than Satdio Version. Classic guitar Riff
@@ironfae Nah I heard them live in 2015.
I was expecting to hear the same as this and nothing.
I left the front seat through the crowd to leave.
Lol you kids lied lol
Angus the legend ripping it up as usual
This is the definition of badassary rock. Nothing but pure energy unleashed.
Thunderstruck is probably the hypest song ever.
If it’s on in the car and you ain’t going at 90 there is something wrong with you 🙄
@@Stez37 yessir
I just used it for a reel. In honor of 420 yesterday lol 🤘😎🎸
@@Stez37 450km
This is my favorite song
I really think these guys may be the greatest rock band of all time
Sorry, Bruce Springsteen’s e street band has to be there too, a third place for AC/DC
Correction! The best Rock n Roll band of all time! Almost 50 year's of touring and recording Album's.
There are other rock bands of course that are great too, but ACDC is Rock n Roll.
Also Airbourne is another good band to bang your head and pump your fist too! Also from Australia.
I also enjoy
- Led Zeppelin
- Metallica
- Ozzy Osbourne
- Black Sabbath
- Aerosmith
- Queen
- Def Leppard
- The Scorpion's
- Shinedown
- Volbeat
- Fleetwood Mac also Stevie Nicks
- Guns' n Rose's
- Alter Bridge
- Bon Jovi
- Pantera
- Van Halen
- Whitesnake
And Many Many More 😉
The Beatle's and Bruce Springsteen are wonderful but there not Rock n Roll like ACDC.
I love the Bon Scott era and love Brian Johnson as well!
If you want to head bang and fist pump well it's ACDC!
Yeah Baby!!
No thinking involved, they ARE
Metallica
To all the people who attended this magnificent concert. "" I Salute You""🤘
For those about to rock, we salute you!
Yes thank you for allowing us to share your privilege of seeing this live. Greatest guitarist...still!
Anyone else getting goosebumps from this in ‘24?
Astounded by the performance!!
Absolutely phenomenal! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
facts
Me...watching this performance
Yes
Definitely, I was there, still have my concert shirt...!
One of the greatest intros of any song 🎸🥁🎤
This masterpiece never gets old.
I remember them during that tour in Calgary. What a blast to be on the ground floor and also being the only black guy present. Good old memories😊
good for you
Есть вещи, которые не возможно повторить никому!! Ангус Янг неповторим и уникален, как впрочем и вся группа!!!
2024
This is not only a song.... no no no no....This is a fucking ANTHEM! 🤘🤘
Brian's voice is like getting your heart shredded with a long, rusty Bowie knife!
The power is devastating!!!
What a truly magical guitar tone, Gibson SG + Marshall = Rock n Roll Heaven.
Best live version of Thunderstruck
The size of the crowd is phenomenal!
It was fantastic my head was thumbing for a week after
Actually it was smaller than donington crowds were a few years earlier.
I'm hallucinating or is it really Lars Ulrich at 1:05
Take a look at sziget festival. Its 7 days but i think about 450,000 attend. Couldn't recommend it enough for anyone interested
And I got to see AC/DC playing this song in 2009
The most iconic and imposing piece of rock ever. Imagine war-hungry orks running down the hill to thunderstruck beats. AC DC LIVE II was the reason many teenagers at the time ran to the music store for their cheap first guitar
