Sounds like he was a good honest man who made a difference. Not everybody will be happy with the results of a good deed. Its always a good thing when someone, anyone does what's right. I pray this world still has good people not afraid to do what's right and not NEED recognition or fame.

Bonnie didn't kill Murphy & Wheeler , Clyde & Henry Methvin did ...Bonnie couldn't walk after the car wreck they had burned her right leg so bad that Clyde had to carry her almost everywhere, you need to visit the TX Rangers museum in Waco, TX and get the facts from the source...!

Her leg healed well enough so that she was able to stand and limp about unassisted, but she could not run fast, which is why Clyde had to carry her whenever they had to flee on foot.

Frank Hamer did not bring them to justice. He murdered Bonnie and Clide. It was an out and out ambush. He never introduced himself as a law officer. Never gave them a chance at a fair trial.
