You make such a good point. WHAT I've noticed since the beginning of this genocide is that Americans are spiritually impoverished and we-- no matter how religious we may think we are-- would never be able to contend with the type of life that's been imposed on the Palestinians for over seven decades and most definitely we would NEVER be able to withstand the genocide that is occurring now. Nor would we , in the face of this genocide , have any sense of equanimity or dispassion as regards the zionists who are perpetrating the genocide. ONE thing I've become very aware of especially since I read Miko peled book THE GENERAL SON is language: I call it the "ZIONIST state" and I call the people who live there "Zionists". I do NOT use the word Jews and I do not use the word Israel . Jews are NOT necessarily zionists and if they are they will be called zionists. MANY are atheists such as were the founders of Zionism. They had no belief in God. THEY had no religion. AND what I'm seeing now is they have NO morals; NO ethics; and NO moral compass.
I am equally appalled at the US Congress and I wish we could remove every single one of the members of the Senate and every single member of the House with the exception of the one PALESTINIAN. They do NOT represent the American people. THEY do NOT represent what we feel regarding this genocide and yet they demand that we pay taxes which supplies the Israelis with the means to perpetuate this genocide indefinitely which is to say forever. This is the FOREVER WAR that our President and our Congress want and that we abhor. America NOW symbolizes to the world a horror and a terror that is beyond words. That is what we have become in the eyes of the world and in the eyes of God .

A few weekends ago, I headed out to get on a Bus from Fl to Dc, to the March on Washington. I just thought it was a free ride. I was terrified. I am an autistic adult, I don’t do social things. I went alone, not knowing anyone. Little did I know, the bus was organized by the local Islamic society. We met at their Mosque. The moment I walk up. My fears melted away. I was immediately welcomed as ‘sister’. Treated like family. I spent the next 2 days with a bus full of Palestinian Muslim, & even as the reason was sorrowing. I left that weekend with a full heart. I have never met such, kind, compassionate and caring people in my life. Their first priority was the safety of every stranger on that bus. Nobody wanted for nothing. They fed us the entire way. Bought us coffee. Everyone left with some kind of gift. The most giving people I have ever encountered. & being as I didn’t know a whole lot about Islam prior to 118 days ago, i an witnessing what a beautiful religion it is. The misconceptions I had about it,gone. The Palestinian people are strong and courageous. They truly care about other people, no matter what. I feel sad for anyone who doesn’t get to experience the friendship or love from a Palestinian. I left after those 72 hours being welcomed into the Muslim family. I have been to events at the Mosque. & chat with the group every day. The way I was treated that weekend will stay with me the rest of my life. & the friendships I made as well. It’s truly not fair what the world has put such a beautiful people through. One thing Press Hero Bisan said I think about daily “we are the only people who deserved life, but never got it” May we see a liberated Palestine, & the fall of colonial empirical violence.

No, they haven’t. In the West Bank, the Palestinian Authority rules, and the PA pays Palestinian families in the WB to kill Israelis, the more they kill the more money, and if they get put in prison they get even more money, so Palestinians aren’t “cautious” when they hear Israelis, they’re just acting like they’re so scared when in reality it’s their own fault they have to be “cautious”, Israelis are one of the nicest people in this world, Palestinians are definitely not, maybe the ones who live inside Israel are nicer than those in the west but as I’ve seen on TH-cam videos abt Palestinians in Israel being asked questions abt Jews and Israel, they’re not that nice. What you did is exactly how it should be done, free with an option for patron support or a donation option. I hope the creaters of that film see the importance of it and do the same thing. I have a Muslim friend from Israel with a unique background. His father is of Russian Circassian descent, while his mother is Israeli Jewish. He once shared a memorable insight with me: "I was born in Israel, raised here, attended school in this country, and I'm well-versed in the language. I understand the mindset of the average Israeli, and trust me, they harbor unfavorable sentiments towards Arabs." - If his observations are accurate, I'm pleased to see that you and the emerging generation of Israelis are working to shift the mindset for the future of Israel.

There's one big difference between that conflict and this. In that conflict both sides ultimately wanted peace, and so it was made. In this conflict, only Israel wants peace. Hamas and the majority of Palestinians want "from the river to the sea" - all or nothing. They praise martyrs and see Palestinians who commit terror attacks on Israeli civilians as heroes, the same ones being exchanged in the hundreds for a fraction of that number in Israeli hostages, innocent civilians KIDNAPPED by Hamas...

The problem is radicals on both sides. It's so sad. This wonderful man you spent so much time with was genuine. He was not into radical Islamism movements and also spoke of the far right settlers severe misdeeds. A two state solution that is equally divided is the only solution. A lot of these Israelis had grandparents die in the Holocaust, were put into the Lebanon wars ,and then have seen the face of radical Islam and the are lost. Iran needs to leave this area alone and so do the Jihadi. This needs to be about humanity before politics. Learning to have empathy again after so much war.
*Edit: the settlers on the border are a shame to the rest of Israel.
