You *really* seem to need to set up airlock systems so that both doors can't be open at once. With multiplayer delay and general lack of discipline, it's probably safer to assume something will go wrong with people using the airlocks without forced safeties in place.
Have you tried the Projection Status mod? It can highlight damaged, missing, wrong orientation and wrong paint/skin blocks on your grid. It will even highlight them on a console displaying the blueprint of the ship. You don't even need to have a blueprint, you can just tell it to use the current grid in its current state and it makes its own local blueprint.
In todays episode of Assertive Aquisitions we have: -The skywarp doing it's first self powered jump -A wrecked ship filled with explosives -And TFE killing himself with an airlock
You really need the auto door script that closes the doors and locks the other side of an airlock when one side is open. Would prevent TFE from killing you.
I thought of an idea for a possible means for other ships to dock to the Skywarp that doesn't look as funky as the rear connector, and that is an extendable connector boom on the port and starboard sides of the ship. Then any bug ships could use port and starboard connectors or forward and backward connectors go connect to the Skywarp, sitting adjacent to it, rather than hanging awkwardly off the back. And you could possible double or triple up with multiple pistons to have a connection that has failsafes. And if it works, you could have it so that they can be hidden behind a door of some sort for when not in use, maybe having an event controller activate a sequence that puts it away once all connectors are disconnected. You may need two pistons at least to clear the rear section, but it could be a really cool way of implementing a connection. And alternatively, I you don't want doors, they could have a large gun turret on the end that will stick out on thr surface of the Hull normally and when extended offers protection on the other side of the ships (since pretty much all connectors in your ships are front and back, and not port and starboard.)

Base raiding and stuff. I appreciate Splitsie forgetting that the Schnozz, of all ships, has a landing gear. And Capac's nonchalant response. Skywarp would be able to fit those other craft into an open-air hanger bay, but there's not really any place to put it. Think, like, a splayed-out squid with docking ports for suckers on the tentacles. But applied to a very not-squid shape. However, the only way you could really fit it in line with the shape would either be to expand the outer panels, or to cut the ship in half and slide a new section in the middle (and thus make the third person camera even worse, possibly necessitating a second, rear-mounted or central bridge between the engineering and new hangar points) which still wouldn't provide that much room and I don't see working with the central corridors. You would still struggle to fit the Marlin into it, were it in-line; it would be half the space and mean the ship would nearly _double_ in length from the expansion. Large ship docks are ridiculous. A decent alternative would perhaps be mounting some long docking ports on either end of the side hangar bays, and giving the ship a vaguely spined appearance when all of the larger craft are detached. Either way, Skywarp is very much designed to be a self-sufficient fighter carrier and not a large ship carrier, though I suppose you could just build a sister ship with a similar engineering section and the whole front pretty much torn out and replaced with that open-air but still inline area. It would be much easier to build, since you already have the blueprint and you'd be replacing two thirds of the ship with a hollow shell. Even still I don't think building a second carrier will actually go through, even if it would certainly look nicer than your airbrake-looking fan of craft you currently carry. The two halves of that 'Thunderhelm' ship might have information in their grid name and ownership.. though it's notable that they were openly accessible. And that that, of course, might just show gameplay information and isn't accessible anymore. And the faction data for ARC, though they may have been scavengers. As for 'a worse situation', it's less a matter of better or worse and more a matter of going from ASSERT, an enemy you know, to whoever these new factions are. 46:22 Mounted combination of autocannons and gatling guns, and a rocket turret, hence the impressive first shot against Splitsie. Dangerous but not unbeatable (particularly compared to those monstrous WYCC 'drones'). Unlike ASSERT, who only sends drones at active threats either actively from bases or when their craft are attacked, INCON appears to actually leave drones on patrol, which makes for an interesting challenge and necessitates more constant alert. ASSERT probably would pay off the stations in order to secure their hold on local cargo deliveries.

I like your attempt to make your torpedoes work and I think you should not give up that fast. Why you don't try to make the fly path more spiral? By overwrite the left and upward thruster by e.g. 30 %. Thereby the point defence might have a much harder time to hit the torpedo. This might reduce the chance of hitting the target as well but I believe this is worth a try. What might also work is to add a turret in front of the turpedo to fight the point defence or create by this way decoy drones. However the key to success is not to give up. Kind regards form Germany

In this case it turned out that the two mods involved don't really work together yet so we sorta activated something that wasn't supposed to be able to be activated :P

I think the "Cannon Ball" might look better if it connected a bit more cleanly to the Schnoz. Not as in a merge block, but picture it with a heavy armor shell that meets up with the Schnoz's own rear paneling and formed a shield around the rear thrusters.

Btw did you try to release the cargo when you push the finish button? I've had an idea for an ai or event controller for playing online servers but I can't try it because I don't play online. Set up some sensors that if an enemy is detected at 1.5 km your ship automatically blind jumps 50km. Is this a bad idea? It's primarily for if you're AFK

Something clued me in to the fact that you transferred worlds. However, I'm at a loss as to what that is.
So basically your awerness of your surrounding is almost the same when doyou do a livestream and you reading the chat while you play... That can explain somethings.
Btw did you try to release the cargo when you push the finish button? Or at the second time just maybe standing at the console whi the others deliver the cargo which had to reach the location within a time limit and not just flying around and watch the stars?
Don't you need to dock to complete missions?

I've had an idea for an ai or event controller for playing online servers but I can't try it because I don't play online. Set up some sensors that if an enemy is detected at 1.5 km your ship automatically blind jumps 50km. Is this a bad idea? It's primarily for if you're AFK
