Thank you . I’m 41 and I haven’t made these since I was a child . I got it mostly done and then forgot how to finish the edges lol. Your video was the first I could clearly see how to weave the edges. Now I can help my child learn to do it. So thank you. Keep up the great videos!
Your voice, rhythm, tone and consecutive conversation helping us follow you is absolute perfection! You are such a great presenter and teacher. #following
My daughter and I found your video very informative! You have great video quality and a calm pace. We were able to follow right along! Thank you so much!! We will be watching more of your videos!
Thank you so much for this!!! I just went to hobby lobby to get crafts for my mom and a weaving potholder loom was one of the three i got, it had been a couple years since i had done any type of weaving because it was something my nana showed me (she died of cancer in 2022 sadly... RIP for her.) and my mom wanted to teach me!! So we got a metal weaving loom and some of the elastic loops. But i had never really been good ag crocheting and watchign you do it twice has REALLY HELPED! Thank you!!
Hello , Thank you for posting this helpful video , my granddaughter was having trouble getting the loops off and weaved. The loops kept coming off and giving trouble. She watched you do it and it worked much better. 🤗👍
The best video I found on this topic. Thank you for the step-by-step, clear instructions. I've never done this before. I couldn't have done it without this video.
Thank you so much for this! Other videos would *Maddeningly* show how to weave, without demonstrating how to knot the work at the end. Bless you for guiding us right through the entire process!
I remember this type loom from 60 yrs ago. My brother and I went to Day Camp and I made potholders. The loom was metal, and dark red in color. Unfortunately my potholders were those only my grandmother could love. This video does bring back delightful memories.
So happy to find this video. Since I received this American loop'n weave set of my friend in order to help a deaf and blind young woman to learn this fun crafts. She and I are so proud she succeeded to weave with some help, but I really didnot get the instruction
I absolutely loved your video. I watched another video and I didn't under stand how to take it off, but your video explained it perfectly. Thank you for your help.
Been a long time. Making one for a friend. My dad has his for when I made them and still uses them. Just never knew how to complete it fully, always needed to ask my mum
My wife just bought this WonderLoom for my 6 year old and I had Nooooo clue how to do it! Thank you so much for posting this. We all learned how to crochet!
I’m so thankful to find this. I was trying to finish a potholder my granddaughter did and wasn’t sure on the box directions for tying it off! Great job! I do use for pot holders. They’re my favorites & lots of memories!
I had trouble finishing mine off that was for my friend, but I watched the vid and it really helped! I just needed a refresher. I put a bit of fabric glue on the knot so it doesn't fray or untie.
How would I weave a single letter like A or M or even an S? I'd prefer assigned coasters in my family and I'd like to know how to... I just got started in this and am almost overwhelmed by how much there is lol.
I bought one of these things at random at walmart. This video really helped me figure out what I was doing. But I was also reminded that this isn't quite one of my strengths. I watched how to sinch off the end 2 or 3 times and still didn't get it. So I did my own thing. Still a very helpful video :)
The video mentions using insulating material between two sewn together potholders used as a functioning potholder. What do we use as insulating material?
thank you!! this worked very well .. this was my first time so i dont even need to mention me messing up at the end LOL but im 100% sure i will use this tomorrow
I have a different kit its called sew cute but it has the same fabric and I keep running into a problem where they pop off the pegs sometimes. How can I prevent that?
I made this when I was little and completely forgot how lol I also had a fabric that you could use as pot holders but idk what it is but it’s different
I love making these but I have to keep stoping because you are going a little bit to fast but anyways thank you for teaching me how to make those today!!!!
I would like to use this application for making a 'cat tail' for a soft toy. The video is great and well explained. I hope you check back as I can't contact you directly, thank you.
These were very common in the 50s/60s, but they never needed to be doubled or insulated. I wonder if there's a difference. I'm not sure if we used cotton or wool.
I tried twice I didn’t watch the end because I forgot I came back and now I am mad at myself I was almost going to cry it’s frustrating! SO FRUSTRATING Edit: I made a potholder! Finally I got the hang of it! Mine is green and blue
This really helped in after school I put the rubber bend things on the loom and my teacher took it off for me but now I bought my own kit and I know what to do
I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean there's no more room for loops even if you've not used all the pegs? You might have to squish the loops together in that instance.
I've never had the experience of doing this but it does not look hard at all. Remember how she said to tie off your last Edge I'm pretty sure and I'm pretty confident that if you do that when you line up the squares just do it for each section Tire to each one and it should work I thought about doing that as well for a special blanket. Anyway I hope you get the idea and maybe I'll make a video on it I don't know. Take care
I appreciate you showing how to secure the end bind off. So many professionals forget this step.

THANK YOU for posting this. I want my grandchild to learn this as I did as a child. But, I needed a refresher. Have Happy Holidays.
My grandma gave us this too! merry christmas :).
Pro tip: you can watch series at InstaFlixxer. Been using them for watching loads of movies recently.
@Jared Bronson Definitely, have been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself =)
Thank you for answering all my childhood questions lol , it's been a long 20 years not understanding what this thing was

I made one of these in art class. We use it as a coaster in my house. My dad has been wanting another one. So this really helped, thank you.
Thank you crafts with Claudie! We bought these kits to occupy our time during quarantine.......

I agree I had trouble remembering the end
Thank you for finishing it. Very helpful. Everyone else I watched stopped recording before it was done.

I make potholders today
Really good
I have not done this in a few years so watching this really helps
Best example of how to finish the edges I’ve seen! Thanks for sharing!
This really helped me with the ending crochet part! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! 👍

Thank you very much for making this for us. I really appreciate all of the hard work you put into it
I absolutely loved your video. I watched another video and I didn't under stand how to take it off, but your video explained it perfectly. Thank you for your help.

WOW! your video was super precise.
Thank you so much for this video!! We had so much trouble with this and the finishing off and it helped us so much!!
I was stuck without your video!! Thanks so much!
You are THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
i do not get it
Thanks for showing how to secure that last loop!
That is why I chose to watch the video - the instructions in the box are not really good on taking it off and finishing it.
My wife just bought this WonderLoom for my 6 year old and I had Nooooo clue how to do it! Thank you so much for posting this. We all learned how to crochet!

Yo. Thanks for saving Xmas Claudie.
Porque não coloca em português ? Ninguém entende nada que merda.
She talked a lot
I use the cotton loops.Harrisville Designs has the best looms and loops. Thanks for this video.
I LIKE YOUR videos you explain them very well no one else does that! Thank you so much😛😋🥳😘
Thank you so much I was stuck at the part where you tie it off this helped me a lot so thank you!!!

Claudia, great video! I want to make 4x4 inch potholders. Do you know where I can
by cotten loopers for such a small size?
Thanks,
MEW
The video mentions using insulating material between two sewn together potholders used as a functioning potholder. What do we use as insulating material?
Thank you for this video. I would not have been able to complete my project without it.
because of you I made a perfect purse
They nylons loops are definitely not for heat use. The thinker cotton or wool loops work well with heat.
thank you!! this worked very well .. this was my first time so i dont even need to mention me messing up at the end LOL but im 100% sure i will use this tomorrow
11/3/17 Walmart sells the loom/loops. When I was a kid, we used a larger loom.
Thank you for you instruction and showing it clearly ❤
Thank you so much I just got a kit called weaving loom And I didn’t understand the instructions and you helped me so much thank you
Very helpful thank you so much! This is the best way I’ve seen it done:)
The way you bind off edges in this craft reminds me of how a bind off is achieved in Tunisian crochet.
I have a different kit its called sew cute but it has the same fabric and I keep running into a problem where they pop off the pegs sometimes. How can I prevent that?
We have used these for years as pot holders and trivets fir years with no trouble. They don't melt, and no one has been burned.
thanks you helped me out my first time I was weaving
Krystal Tavarez
Hi
You help me a lot
Thank you. The kit says 5 and up......... I am well over 5. Should have said 5 with the help of you tube.
How do I get more loops? Are they available on ebay to order or is there a website I have to order more loops from?
Thank you this really helped me Merry Christmas 🎄 🎅
This helped a lot but the only thing I struggling with us the fact that the kit I got didn't come with the right hook and it was SUPER hard for me
Can I make a bracelet?
Can you make one without a weaving stick? Edit: never mind I just replaced the weaving stick with my finger
Thank you so much I can't wait to give mine to my grandma
OMG I have the same set I got it today, it's my birthday
I made this when I was little and completely forgot how lol I also had a fabric that you could use as pot holders but idk what it is but it’s different
What is purpose the shole kit say for pot holders abd you cant use it fir pot holders
Your voice is so relaxing!
I love making these but I have to keep stoping because you are going a little bit to fast but anyways thank you for teaching me how to make those today!!!!
I would like to use this application for making a 'cat tail' for a soft toy. The video is great and well explained. I hope you check back as I can't contact you directly, thank you.
I did a few of these in 3rd grade. I'm 47 now and decided I wanted to do it again. The tutorial helped
Thank you so much for this vid it helped so much! I couldn't understand the directions on the box.
These were very common in the 50s/60s, but they never needed to be doubled or insulated. I wonder if there's a difference. I'm not sure if we used cotton or wool.
😒
thank you your the first person i saw that would teach this exact thing
Oh. I had no idea
Yeah hmm I had no talent to do this
.-. We use these and use them a potholders. And it didn't melt 😏
good for you
Thank you so so much I know this comment is late but this video was super helpful and the directions were clear thanks×1000
What can I use if I can't find my plastic hook?
If you don't have the hook what can you use?
Really helped me.Especially the crochet part! Thx
Can I make a few and hook them together?
thank you so much for doing this it is my first time doing this ❤
Thanks for posting this great video. We lost our hook and had to make do with a chopstick but worked out fine!
that looks nice! what else can you make with this?
I love. This. It’s. The. Only that. Helped me
That was soo much help I dont even know how to thank you
That hook looks much easier to go through the loops since it is flat on the side. :)
I tried twice I didn’t watch the end because I forgot I came back and now I am mad at myself I was almost going to cry it’s frustrating! SO FRUSTRATING
Edit: I made a potholder! Finally I got the hang of it! Mine is green and blue
Thx for the tutorial it really helped :D
Thank you so much I loved making this!!
This helped me so much!!! Thank you for this video!!
This really helped in after school I put the rubber bend things on the loom and my teacher took it off for me but now I bought my own kit and I know what to do
Ty I got one but I did not understand the instructions
Quarantine got us making coasters
You are good at that I’m trying but I am to lazy
Were do u get your color??🤔🤔🤔
what happens if you had half of the loom half way and you have no more room is that okay?
I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean there's no more room for loops even if you've not used all the pegs? You might have to squish the loops together in that instance.
Oh okay thanks, and yes that's what i meant.
can I use this to make squares for a blanket?
I've never had the experience of doing this but it does not look hard at all. Remember how she said to tie off your last Edge I'm pretty sure and I'm pretty confident that if you do that when you line up the squares just do it for each section Tire to each one and it should work I thought about doing that as well for a special blanket. Anyway I hope you get the idea and maybe I'll make a video on it I don't know. Take care
Thanks so much for this video! It really helped!!
I'm going to try to get that for my bday
My sisters and i used to make these. We'd make animals with it, like fold he square into a a triangle and stuff it
