Thank you is so inadequate to say about how grateful I am to you for everything you've done and given to all of us crafters. You are so kind, generous, thoughtful and a wonderful teacher. Knowing you is the very best thing that has come to me, from being involved in this craft. Even though it's not enough ... THANK YOU a million times!

Great video!!! No sound needed, the pace in which you show what your doing is easy to follow along. Thanks so much!!!

The best type of tutorial. Very clear and easier to follow. Thank you. Please post more like this, if possible.

Wow. I’m a newbie but the last few weeks I have been making potholders with the basic weave that everyone did 50 years ago (except me,). Now I’m ready to progress into something a little more challenging. Thank you for sharing your talents! Great job,

Simply great teaching! I'm a beginner wanting to make my first pot holder. This is the best video I have seen so far. Every aspect is visible and easy to follow. Thanks for not rushing the demonstration.

Love those colors. .do you hand dye your own loops? If not, can you share where you got them?

Thanks for this video! It was very easy to follow. I’m really enjoying making potholders with this 3-layer method.

This method is faster and easier on the hands. Thanks!

Thank you for showing this so beautifully. I love that there's no sound (and the invariable extraneous comments). I wish more people would do that!

Thank you for helping people like me to get these crafts out of our heads and into our hands, again thanks 👍

This was an interesting version of a potholder, but as a beginner of this craft, I would like to say that this is not a project I would try to start with.
I would suggest adding subtitles at least, to explain what you are doing and why you are doing it. Or use tags on the different areas that you are pointing to, which lets the viewers know the importance of that area.
A tutorial needs to explain to the viewer what is happening and why, even if there is no vocal explanation. Some of us need to read instructions, as well as watching a video.
Thank you for taking the time to show us something new. Love the colours that you used.

New Subscriber from Philippines. I love your video. Sadly we have no same materials as you do in the Philippines. Our frame is just made from scrap woods. The rubber band you use is not available here as well. Sad. Wish I could do the same as you do.

Where did you purchase the metal frame and loops….they seem to be of way better quality than the ones I have. Awesome instructional.

I been doing potholders since I was 10 yrs old. I use binding clips to hold my tension around all sides and at end I add a ring to

Where did you get the hook you are using to cast off and the comb from?

    • @MatthewCavalletto
      @MatthewCavalletto ปีที่แล้ว +2

The manufacturer of the hook is no longer in business; you might be able to find a woodworking pin vise that will grip a short metal crochet hook.

The comb is a basic plastic hair-styling comb from a neighborhood toiletries/drugstore.

That is correct, this is a silent video. It was filmed that way deliberately.

How do finish the last loop to prevent it from unraveling? Thank you!

  • @kailuke768

Why is there no audio or explanation?
Thank you for your efforts, but fairly useless as I came upon it, Silent.
Unless your target audience is the Deaf among us.
    Thanks anyway.

The visual is quite effective for most people. I don’t see the need for a verbal explanation.
