Just a suggestion - I would not recommend using glass out of a picture frame or any glass pane/sheet unless you know it's tempered for sure. A fellow art student in my class used picture frame glass as a palette and it broke in his hand. He had to leave class to go to urgent care for stitches :(
Best palette tip I've ever got: if the paint on your palette dried out, let it soak in warm water for a while. Get's off super easy like dis. Btw, loved this viiiiiiid!!! I have a big ass canvas standing behind my door and it scares the sh*t out of me to start to paint on it - was feeling your self-motivational talk so much 😂😂😂
Tip for the glass palette is to line to wrap tape around the edges so there is less of a risk for sharp glass edges! We learned to do this is art school and if you use painters tape or regular tape you should still be able to clean it without problems.
That's a pretty decent job! I thought it wouldn't be good from the way you were talking about it or your skills but then you started doing the pigeon and I was like "wow, what was she talking about??". I have seen a few of your videos where you were digitally painting and I am thinking now that maybe digitally painting and "normally" painting is not that different after all. 🎉❤🙆🏻♀
Absolutely love Milanote! I use it a lot as a self employed artist! It helps me plan out my projects and I use it for getting ideas together for what projects I want to add to my store and also for decorating my home and deciding on projects for that! Love love love! ❤❤❤

Love it! I just went to an art museum over the weekend, and one of the things that struck me was how big a lot of the art was! I usually create on 5"x7" or 8"x10", but now I'm really wanting to try something a bit larger.

Idk if this is helpful but sometimes art supply stores will sell pre-sanded panes of glass for cheap ! When I was in college Blicks sold $7 glass panes along with all of their fancy palettes haha a godsend as a poor art student lol

God I'm a graphic designer and I just fell in love with Milanote! I hated having to do boards and stuff on Figma or Illustrator.

You can use a glass pie plate, dish, anything.

Hot water helps the dried acrylic peel off the glass really easy :)
