How the oscilation will be generated without PWM controller? It's dc to dc transformer, I'm sure.
The 12volt battery without anything can power the filament bulb, the fan connected could also be a DC fan. I suspect a hidden connection between the primary and secondary coil of the transformer that links the battery cables to the loads.
It's a shame that at minute 9:35 the fan starts working at full power without being connected... Good luck next time and check every detail of your video carefully so that no one notices your cheating

The output can't be more than the input, so calculate.
How are you giving + supply to Emitter, its 2SB 688 a PNP transistor. according to your connections only NPN transistor can be used instead. it looks fake wont work.
Also, what's causing the 50Hz oscillations? Even if the transitor was connected properly, he would have just basically connected the battery to the transformer. He could have just connected the transformer directly to the battery at this piont... wich of course wouldn't work, because tranformers need AC to operate, which is exactly why we need complicated circuits.
Unregulated output voltage and no protection for the fet is careless and shows the inability of the poster to demonstrate a highly finished solution. No touch protection!

Aaaaand, it just flat out doesn't work. Firstly the transitor is a PNP, that he connected like an NPN, meaning it can't conduct, and the Base-Emitter volage definetly exeeded the absolute maximum -5V specified in the datasheet, so the transistor is most definitely fried. Second, there's nothing to cause oscillations, he would (if he had correctly connected the transistor) just have the transformer perpetually connected to the battery, which is not how transformers work.

This is silly video, why half wave rectified to 44V to light an led that only requires around 3v, this could be done with a a PP9 battery and a resistor, for most a multimeters voltage on resistance would light an led as well, connecting that set up in reverse is likely to blow the led or overload those cree ones.

you can use a transformer to induce a lower or higher voltage....to make it dc it needs to be rectified........you can not reverse a transformer to with dc power to induce it will not work you need to create a pool of electricty and then discharge it very fast and then recharge again in pulses to create the inversion of power
