Looks good but already tried it, it produces no power at all. Hell I tried the experiment with Soil, Copper wire and Zinc screws using an ice cube tray and got 6 volts. That was impressive. One thing I find unbelievable is that you are saying that was 220V and managed to power the lights; with no protection or any way to regulate the volts or amps those lights would have exploded the instant you touched the bulb with both wires. Sorry to debunk the video but if you were in fact playing with 220V of un protected wires, then the instant you touched the wires together it would have sent a shockwave through the copper wire cracking if not destroying the CD's within. Not to mention burn your fingers in the process as at one point you fought to pull the wires apart. Those wires would have been close to melting point. Also if you can build your own solar panels and get 220V from one panel, why do you have actual solar panels on your roof.
The solar panels on the roof have already been installed and they also still give off free electricity. I wouldn't take them off if it were me. Maybe he just recently discovered these DVD disc collectors. We don't know that.
It depends on how close to the overhead power lines magnetic flux you are. You don't even need the cds just cardboard tubes with coils of wire. Done in rural areas where I come from but the heavy fines levied from theft outweigh the benefits from free power.
This project is an excellent idea. You should place the panel in the garden where it is clearly visible and then watch the neighbors roll on the ground laughing......

I think this works, the diy copper disk solar panel works but doesn't last very long before ruined by the weather. I made diy panel from cheap solar cells and moisture gets inside in a yr & ruins it.

If you have 40 years of solar experience then you would know this is absolutely fake. Even if the CD were somehow able to generate a voltage, the bare copper wire is touching itself as it's wound, which would create a short.
For me, considering the likelihood that the final setup could be fake, my main wonder is about how he generated 7V from that first singular CD coil. Did he also fake that part?

But no, all three "loads" (meter, motor, bulbs) have all wires on screen so the power source must be inside them. The wire round the CD's forms a low resistance path completing the circuit. Analog needle do actually move slight even if disconnected. Anything after 8:24 is over-exposed & can't be read on the meter. At 13:16 I see no wires to make it fake, can you point out exactly where they are ?
Another point to consider is, when he measured the voltage from 1 finished disc the voltage was 7 volts. Multiply that by the number of disc (24) which equals 168 volts. So where did the extra 52 volts come from. Obviously the same place where he hid the battery.

You could try use silver wire instead of copper for 1 of the discs, to see how much more electricity it conducts. Silver should be the best conductor. I guess it’s not expensive for a little experiment

There's no point in taking this simple project and making a huge mountain out of a molehill with it!! Of course this Man knows that he don't have a way to regulate the power being generated , this is exactly why he was using 220 volt light bulbs.. But Thank all you geniuses that quickly point out the obvious. HINT: If this didn't work for you after you followed directions the take each disc and hold them up to the light. Do a quick visual check to make sure the discs aren't extremely scratched up beyond usable condition. Try to pick out a few discs that are not scratched up really bad.. It took me 3 times but it finally worked. I just need a power bank to store the power..
That's because moonlight is just reflected earthlight coming originally from sunlight. Lessened power output when no moon and cloud cover from starlight. Problem can be resolved by using storage batteries to power lightbulbs which then shine on the cds or l/Ps but the you have to use incandescent bulbs since LEDs don't give off heat, which is necessary for L/Ps to work.

Analog needle do actually move slight even if disconnected. Anything after 8:24 is over-exposed & can't be read on the meter.
At 13:16 I see no wires to make it fake, can you point out exactly where they are ?
Another point to consider is, when he measured the voltage from 1 finished disc the voltage was 7 volts. Multiply that by the number of disc (24) which equals 168 volts. So where did the extra 52 volts come from. Obviously the same place where he hid the battery.
You should use a blue ray disc, it will generate 415v with that design.

I found that if you actually just use regular ole shingles and connect them with copper you get the same effect! Also, there's a ton more surface area

You could try use silver wire instead of copper for 1 of the discs, to see how much more electricity it conducts. Silver should be the best conductor. I guess it’s not expensive for a little experiment
На медном проводе изоляцию не очистилы. Ток как пройдёт. Очищат паят надо конции проводов.
И ещё 24 диска по 7V это будет 168V.

100 x 20 = 2.000volts.
2.000V x 10A = 20.000 Watts.

Eso debe ser un FAKE porque para empezar.al perforar el disco no existe un punto de contacto fijo, y digamos que el disco actúa con un núcleo de transformador Toroide habría una mínima posibilidad de generar un voltaje pero al ser el núcleo muy fino el amp generado sería desorden de miliamp insuficiente para activar cualquier cosa se necesita cientos para obtener un voltaje capas de mover algo. Si fuese real para que fabricar PANELES SOLARES, es un absurdo.
There's no point in taking this simple project and making a huge mountain out of a molehill with it!! Of course this Man knows that he don't have a way to regulate the power being generated , this is exactly why he was using 220 volt light bulbs.. But Thank all you geniuses that quickly point out the obvious. HINT: If this didn't work for you after you followed directions the take each disc and hold them up to the light. Do a quick visual check to make sure the discs aren't extremely scratched up beyond usable condition. Try to pick out a few discs that are not scratched up really bad.. It took me 3 times but it finally worked. I just need a power bank to store the power..

Диски с Бузовой выдали чуть меньше 0.1 вольт 🤦🏻♂️
Как же так, 40 дисков по 7 в. Должно быть 280. Ведь измерение без нагрузки. Где падение напряжения? Возможно с полярностью подключения элементов не разобрался и получил вычитание.
