No you can't. The rectified voltage of a 13v transformer like shown here is about 18v which will most likely damage 12v amps. Also this rectifier needs cooling and the cap is too small. Rather take one with 18 - 20v and higher F ratings than this 100v one

No you can't. The rectified voltage of a 13v transformer like shown here is about 18v which will most likely damage 12v amps. Also this rectifier needs cooling and the cap is too small. Rather take one with 18 - 20v and higher F ratings than this 100v one
