This happened close to where I used to teach. We held our breaths for so long wondering when her body would turn up, so it was definitely bittersweet when she turned up alive. Still haunts me to this day.

What happened to Jayme makes me so angry and upset. Thankfully she’s a strong girl and is living the best life she can in such a tragic situation. She just had a really cute photoshoot for her 17th birthday and everything. It’s nice seeing her smile after everything
What makes Jake's crime so terrifying is that it completely lacks motive. He admits that he picked Jayme at random while seeing her get off the school bus one day and just "liked how she looked". These types of crimes are almost unheard of. Even the most irrational-seeming psychopaths usually have some type of motive that can be derived from their crimes. Cases like these are one in a billion.
