I love history too. I’ve been listening to a podcast called Stuff You Missed In History Class for about 12 years, some of the early episodes/hosts were kind of like unintentional asmr so I got hooked back then, now I just love the content. Anyway I highly recommend it if you’ve never checked it out! The “unearthed” episodes are my favorites.

I feel you about missing American breakfast when living abroad. I lived in Europe for just three months and a plate of scrambled eggs with cheese and breakfast sausage was all I could think about towards the end of my stay. Lol!
I tried to do a spirit guide meditation once and thought of a pelican. Wish I could fly, mine might be the Garfield pawed orange cat who stalked me and constantly followed me home 🙃 🐈
