Henry Silicone White Roof Coating on Asphalt Shingles & 1 year later

Coating asphalt shingles with Henry Tropi-cool White Silicone roof coating.
The main issue with oil/asphalt-based shingles or roofs is that these substrates have heavy oils in them. These oils will always leach out of the oil/asphalt and work their way to the surface. Although this leaching will not affect the adhesion of Silicone in any way, it can create a yellowing effect to the coating.
The yellowing will happen over time. What you do is add another coat of the white silicone roof coating.
