    2 1/2 years ago I also used the Tropi-Cool on my roof of my 31 foot class A, all I have done is to pressure wash it and it comes out like new. The only bad thing I can say is, when wet it is soo damn slippery.

      @@TIREDOFEVIL that’s great to hear. I installed a solar panel after this, and cleaned the area and yeah, that was slick!

      I did the exact same thing on my 2021 wildwood. 29' I use the tape and Henry's. The roof was good no problems but I wanted to put a shell on it and to keep the camper cool inside. Since it is white it will reflect the heat.there was one comment that you didn't use the same product you mention not sure were he was going with that.

    Hi, I noticed that you had the eternabond on first and then swept and watered it down. So it's okay to put the tape on first and the water wont delaminate the tape?

    • @tracenfitzpatrick
      @tracenfitzpatrick  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The tape holds up to water just fine, yes. We put the tape on before winter, just make sure to wash where that will be going so it sticks to a clean surface.

    • @thefix2573
      @thefix2573 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If water delamed the tape it'd be worthless.

  • @ToddStull

    If that's a set up that you'll take on the road with you then Henry has the tropicool caulking tube at Depot for repairs if it catches a branch or something. Came in handy for me because that finish can scrape.
    That camper will last a long time to come. Good ole Sunline from Pennsylvania! Cult classic brand and was sad to see them have to close up shop.

      I figured they must have closed down with how hard it is to find info on ours.

    • @ToddStull
      @ToddStull 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @tracenfitzpatrick yes, for Sunline you would have to seek out the owner's forums. A friend of mine is on one and gets a lot of good info from those guys. Sunline lingered around I think for a year after the 2008 crash but that's what killed them. I think their biggest problem was trying to keep up with the other companies making bigger trailers with all the slide outs. I think had they cut back to their staple 18, 22 and 25ft models they might have made it through. Ironically today all the small units are the most popular but they were stuck in a market phase that killed them.

    The only thing I've heard, and I think I'm remembering this correctly, was that it didn't stick well on top of the eternabond tape unless you primed the top surface of the tape. But hey, if it works without it, that's great.

      I don't think it matters if it sticks to the eternabond. Imo it doesn't have to.
      That tape is a great product for going over seams, vents, edges of the roof
      where the tpo meets the drip cap. Just apply it to the edge of the tape
