it keeps surprising me, how many parts there are in even the seemingly most simple things. I would be totaly overwhelmed and have a panic attack after half the disassembly 😅
When this fan was made, the global life expectancy was around 35 years (45 in the UK) and only 30% of the world population could read and write, common sense wasn't very common. Somehow, we still get tricked by nostalgic feelings of worse times we never lived in.

I think you are supposed to add oil to that wool washer so it lubricates the shaft. Not sure if you did that? T 12:51
