    Hi guys! Do you like the video? Which part did you like the most?
    Have a nice day. With Love - DC ❤️

      You have skills! I enjoyed watching you make the new piece out of plastic. Also using the wooden handle to straighten the cover was pretty clever. One thing I would suggest is to use heat shrink tubing instead of tape on the wire connections. Heat shrink tubing holds up better over time. That is minor though. Keep up the good work.

      Thank you so much Jeremy! I don't find the plastic tubs to use on the conections. ❤️

    Gadzooks there were quite a few parts to restore with this one. Fantastic job cutting down the new plastic for the broken base - It's WAY better than the piece of wood someone fixed it with in the past haha. Like always, very nice job!

    Sendo um eletricista eu teria usado um cabo revestido e aterrado a estrutura já que você já estava usando um plugue aterrado na extremidade do cabo.

    I find it funny that the wire brush wheel spinning makes the video warp 😆

    Being an electrician l would have used a jacketed cord and grounded the frame since you already were using a grounded plug on the end of the cord.

    Отличная работа!
    Будучи электриком, я бы использовал шнур в оболочке и заземлил рамку, поскольку вы уже использовали заземленную вилку на конце шнура.

    Belo trabalho. Faço a mesma observação de Shug McGurran: use os tubos termo retráteis no lugar da fita isolante.
    Pergunta: quanto tempo você demorou para concluir o trabalho?

    • @WorkshopDC
      @WorkshopDC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Obrigado! Eu me esqueci de comprar, aí na hora usei a fita. Demorei 2 semanas, pois tive que ir em vários lugares para encontrar os parafusos e a tinta, mais o tempo de secagem da mesma.

    Next time you do electrical repairs on old fans or any other equipment.
    Make sure you use heat shrink tape over your electrical joins just to be safe.
