One thing I would suggest is to use heat shrink tubing instead of tape on the wire connections. Heat shrink tubing holds up better over time. That is minor though. Keep up the good work.
Gadzooks there were quite a few parts to restore with this one. Fantastic job cutting down the new plastic for the broken base - It's WAY better than the piece of wood someone fixed it with in the past haha. Like always, very nice job!

Next time you do electrical repairs on old fans or any other equipment.
Make sure you use heat shrink tape over your electrical joins just to be safe.
Sorry for that, but i forgot to put the hear shrink on this one.
