Hi gary from derby spent $600 for 4 people this was a cheap meal but great value. Ensure before you die go here . If heaven is pricey this is worth every penny. Quality has no price. The rolls Royce of steaks :-) enjoy

$150.00 per person for a full al a carte meal is not pricey at all.
I was spending that much and more 40 years ago for a nice meal at a typical Chicago steak house. It's pricey if you compare it to fast food, casual dining or what you can make dinner for at home, but not for the quality of the food that is served at S&W.
Especially considering that it WILL cost more for you to make the same quality meal at home.
The prices charges for steaks at S&W are about 60% of what you'll pay for Prime Dry Aged Steaks of comparable size from a Butcher that Dry Ages their own meats. If you'd like to check out a good supplier go to Allen Bros. In Chicago. You'll find them online as well.

If you want the best steak bar none fly to Buenos Aires and have a steak there, it's on a different level than anything else I've had here in the states. The flavor and texture of Argentine beef is something I can't explain, that goes for spit roasted sheep in Chile as well.

Argentine beef is awesome. Although I found people there eat their meat a tad overcooked. Maybe it was just me. Anyone else notice that?

I have a great steak everytime from The Strip Club, a local steak house. You cook the steak yourself, the prices are reasonable, the sides are wonderful, and it ain't no $600.00. Sorry, but getting a screwing for a meal is not my idea of fine dining. I can buy filets at the store, get 5 for $50.00, and eat just as fancy. S&W is a joke.

      You've obviosly NEVER been there!
Go somewhere else with your lies.
      Dinner
      Prime Rib $68.00
      Starters Average $20.00
      Soup $8.00
      Salad $12.00
      Vegetables $10.00
      Potatoes $9.00
      Glass of Wine $13.00
      Total $140.00
Not sure why you pulled $600.00 out of your ass but you're right. That is a Joke. Just like YOU.
Oh and FYI a Dry-Aged USDA Prime Bone-In Ribeye Steaks current pricing for *ONE* 26 oz steak is $95.00 from a Butcher Shop. 22 oz steak is $82.50.
I'm going out on a limb here and guessing your $10.00 steaks aren't USDA PRIME DRY AGED.
      Go Troll elsewhere.
