    Why is no one also talking about the damage this does to women with pregnancy complications or misscarriages. The bill has a loop hole where if anyone suspects you caused your misscarriage they can sue you.

      You can't even induce labor for to remove a fetus that's not living anymore, because that's also legally abortion. Doctors will refuse to do it while the women goes into sepsis. A similar law has killed a woman in Poland like that, which prompted them to change the law

    This is not pro-life. This is strictly and uniquely pro-birth. Pro-life would be a living wage, healthcare, education, environment, and housing. The notion that you advocate that all life is precious is incongruent with the presence of the homeless, anti-unionism, lack of healthcare, lax guns laws, the presence of the death penalty, etc. The hypocrisy of calling yourself pro-life while refusing to put on a mask, is the pinnacle cognitive dissonance.

    Dads are always allowed to abort their rights. They can get married, have a bunch of kids and just decide they dont feel like being a parent anymore. They can choose to never pay a dime in child support while the mom is forced to stay in a homeless shelter because daycare, rent, bills, etc are almost impossible to afford on one income. i was unwanted and abandoned as a baby. my birth mother was so desperate as a single widow, she put me up for adoption. i still suffer trauma from that adoption, my adoptive parents are barely in my life anymore, and no amount of therapy can ease this feeling of abandonment and worthlessness that always finds a way to wrap itself around me and shroud me in emptiness. when from the very beginning you were deemed worthless, deep inside you think of yourself as that. abandonment is NOT better than being a terminated pregnancy. you dont know what it feels like until youve been through it. and rotting in an institution isnt better. and forcing the mom to take care of their unwanted child is DEFINITELY a recipe for disaster. giving that desperate mom a choice is the only way.

      @scary - Now that’s an interesting idea. A man that is not ready to accept responsibility for his actions isn’t much of a man anyway. How about we do questionnaires? Any man, woman, or birthing person that would be willing to kill their own child gets a free vasectomy or tubes tied to be paid for by planned parenthood. That would indeed solve the problem in a totalitarian regime anyway.

My mother was bipolar and addicted to drugs, my childhood was terrible. I suffered greatly for her actions and she surely should have aborted me. When I was 17 I was naive and feel in love with a man who was very manipulative and became pregnant I soon found out he had 3 children and a WIFE and that he was 26years old not 18 like he said. Yes, I aborted! No I don't regret nor am I forever heartbroken. Being a 17yr old mistress/single mom was NOT the path I wanted to take and I'm glad I am not living that life. 5 years later I had my beautiful daughter this time it was planned but her father became an alcoholic I tried being a good wife and coping with it but he became very abusive and I left him but then I found out I was pregnant again with his child. I thought about abortion made an appointment had the money ready and last minute decided not to do it because I already loved my baby and had a name. 1 week later I miscarried. It wasnt Gods to give light to this spirit. This time it did hurt emotionally at the same time I was relieved. I didn't want more reason to deal with that man anymore he's caused a lot of trauma and pain and I thanked God that it happened. God knows how much of an impact a pregnancy has a woman's body and well being sometimes is not meant to be! People die ok! Even babies! The woman's life comes first! Her fully developed life and well being comes first! It's HER LIFE that will be effected the most! Not anyone else's not even the father. I had a dream that baby told me he had to go but he'll come back when I'm ready and that he didn't really die. I'm ok with that. When I'm married again I'll have both of my babies again and I'll be sure to bring them up in a healthy environment. I am more knowledgeable now and make better decisions. It's better this way. Glad things happened the way they did I do not regret anything and I am not heartbroken because I made the best decisions I could possibly make for my life and had nothing but the best intentions for myself and everyone involved. Call it selfish if you want, it doesn't matter. It was for the betterment of all even child. MY life and the quality of it matters too! Btw alot of young women are and is a big problem but no one wants to talk about how men contribute to this problem and how they take advantage of young women. That's why I left the father of my daughter because I don't want to bring up a child in a bad environment. And that's why i was relieved when my baby left willingly. What's happened has already happened. Not everything is black and white people need to learn to understand each other instead of going straight to judging. Not everyone grows up with proper guidance that doesn't mean I should be be severely punished for the rest of my life for mistakes I've made without any malicious intent. Life happens!! What I still don't understand is why anti-abortion people don't care about body autonomy. We have rights to choose to donate organs to people in need. There was a case where someone needed a kidney and they found a match. The matching person refused to donate his kidney to save that person's life. The family had to go to court to try and force that person to donate the kidney. In the end, court ruled that the matching person cannot be compelled to donate theirkidney even if a person will die if he didn't. The person later passed due not getting another kidney.
    We also have laws that we must have in writing to agree to donate organs if we die. No written consent, our organs cannot be touched.
    Freaking dead people have more rights than a woman now in Texas.

    These occur privately or within the family. A woman choosing to get an abortion isn't that different. Only she (and her body in natural abortions) can know what's best for everyone. To get our government (crazy as it is) banning abortion (family business), is in nobodies best interest, because we simply aren't aware of the factors mom is facing whether its the common natural abortion or abortion by choice.

    • @Sparxychu
      @Sparxychu ปีที่แล้ว

      No one should ever be shamed for having a child. I'm pro-life and although I've known several women to be...less than responsible when it comes to sex, I've always supported them throughout their unplanned pregnancies. Personal accountability should be a thing, yes, but honestly having the baby IS showing accountability and responsibility. Terminating a pregnancy that was a result of consensual sex is just trying to magic-eraser the consequences of your actions away, and it just doesn't work like that in the real world.
      And to be honest, I'm not saying single moms are NEVER judged, but not nearly as much as they were years ago. Actually, I hear a lot more of people building them up, complimenting them, saying what strong women they are, etc. Which is great.
      The abortion industry is incredibly greedy and manipulative, and aside from killing human babies, harms the mothers a lot more than people realize. Women need REAL support, not people instilling fear and doubt in them that if they have a baby, they'll never succeed in life or some bs like that.

One of the possible natural consequences of sex, is pregnancy, and thus a baby. I agree that a child should never be viewed as a punishment (which I hear many pro-choice people call unplanned babies) if that's what you mean?
      I just wish government funding would go to more organizations that actually support pregnant women/single mothers and their babies, instead of going to Planned Parenthood. There are still many independent orgs and support groups that provide the help these women need, but most of them don't get the funding they need because all of that funding is going to abortion clinics...The focus should be on helping mother and child both.

    I don't know why people think the unborn should have the same rights as the living. A woman could miscarry at any point during her pregnancy and miscarriage is a lot more common than people think. I was raped and went into an abortion clinic just yesterday expecting to terminate my pregnancy. I paid $350 for it. When they did the ultrasound they discovered I had a missed miscarriage and there was never even a fetus or fetal pole. I was supposed to be 8 weeks along according to the gestational sac's measurements. It was weird how quickly the expressions on all the medical staff's face changed when they realized they were dealing with a miscarriage instead of an abortion. They refunded all my money since my insurance covers d&c's in the case of miscarriages and they all had this look of pity on their face. One medical staff even told me she was "sorry for my loss" which made me feel strange. Why are we suppose to mourn someone that never existed? An embryo is not a baby. It can eventually become a baby but there's no guarantee it will. Is an early abortion really all that much different from an early miscarriage? I still had to get a d&c or take "abortion" pills even though it was a miscarriage. In the end the embryo never became a baby. And I'm very glad it never did.
