Something a person needs to understand before using this engine oil tester is that the entire length of the probe needs to be inserted in place of the dipstick. You are not going to get an accurate test result unless you do that. Sometimes the metal end of the probe can become stuck against parts inside the engine. It's best to push the probe down into the engine a few times before trying to remove it if that happens. Pulling on the probe with a lot of force will damage the metal end of the probe.

@@AUTOOLTECH I failed to insert the probe completely a few times. The end of the probe had not been covered with engine oil. I got a test result of 100 percent when I did that. I do think the probe needs to be longer. I doubt there's a way to solve the problem with the probe becoming stuck at times. Any type of flexible probe could become stuck.

@@AUTOOLTECH The car is a 2019 Toyota Corolla LE. The probe appears to be two feet and eight inches long. I feel like the probe should be three feet and two inches long. That would be about 97 centimeters. I'm not sure why the probe gets stuck sometimes. There are small openings on the metal end of the probe. Something may be getting stuck against those small openings.

This device would be great for anyone who owns a car. It would be good to know if the oil was actually changed. The display should show 100 percent good if the oil is new. I remember taking my car to a Walmart. I told the mechanic to change the oil and windshield wiper blades. He forgot to change the wiper blades. Those guys are so busy. They might forget to change the oil and filter.

I didn't actually receive the device until today. I had ordered this engine oil tester from the AUTOOL shopping website last month. It is a good quality device. I was even impressed by the black cardboard box it was in. There was a picture of this engine oil tester on the box. I think most people will be surprised by the test results. I bought my car in 2020. I don't drive that much. I've never had one oil change. My oil is still testing at 60 percent good. It appears to me that a good quality synthetic oil in a modern car can be used for 10,000 miles or more without needing to be changed. Older engines often caused conventional oils to form sludge in the engine. The only way to prevent that problem was by getting the oil changed every 3,000 miles.

Stupid, Test. Other tests show that all the time shows 100%, so this one, to be good, should test different oil usage
